one long cold night can lead to many things. [[start]]

you wake up in cold sweat, adrenaline racing through your veins. this is the third time this week you've had this nightmare, each time the dream gets more vivid it begins with a blinding light off in the distance of the cold winter night following the light is a reptilian-like figure crawling in all fours chasing after you in the dream you always run away and just before the beast catches you, you wake. you look over to the clock. It reads 12:45 am. [[try to go back to sleep]] [[go get a glass of water]]

you attempt to go back to sleep. but alas all attempts fail, [[go get a glass of water]]

you get out of bed as soon as the fridged air hits your newly exposed flesh you shiver getting slight goosebumps down your arms. as you walk down the dark hallway on the way to the kitchen the shadows from the trees outside the windows play tricks on your eyes making you scurry to the kitchen. once inside you rush to get a glass and fill it in the sink. "CRASH" you hear a loud sound from another room. [[go investigate]] [[race back to your room]]

you decide in quick thinking to race back to your room. once inside you swiftly lock the door. [[exhale]]

quietly you tiptoe down the hall closer to the doorway of the room in question. you notice a slight shiver of fear running through your body. you finally reach the doorway and your shivering worse than an excited chihuahua. [[peak into the room]]

you exhale deeply, your breath looks like smoke coming from your lips. you began to relax but then the crashes start getting louder and closer to your door. in a panic, you race over two options. [[hide under the bed]] [[barricade the door]] .

you decide it would be in your best interest to hide under the bed. so you slither under your bed hoping that whatever is making those sounds can make it through your door. [[crash]]

its down the hall [[crASH]]

its in front of your door [[CRASH]]

the crashes slowly turn in to banging. you look up to see your poor white door slowly being taken off its hinges with every "BANG". fear courses through you as you cower deeper under the bed. cold sweat drips down your nose as you wait for the uninvited to let themselves in. [[BANG]]

you wince as the door slams against the floor the monster slithers around the room you try to calm your racing heart hoping that the monster doesn't find you. [[peek]]

its down the hall [[crASH.]]

the crashes disappear for a brief two minutes before they are replaced with loud banging at your door. with every bang, you barricade falls little by little till only the door is left barely hanging off its hinges. [[hide under the bed.]] [[find a weapon]]

you decide to find a weapon. you quickly look for anything sharp. as you quickly scan the room your eyes are caught by a glissing of a brass letter opener. [[BANG.]]

you decide it would be in your best interest to hide under the bed. so you slither under your bed hoping that whatever is banging on your door cant break the last final hinges hanging on to your door. [[BANG]]

SWIFTLY THE DOOR FALLS TO THE GROUND AND YOU ATTACK WHATEVER HAS KNOCKED YOUR DOOR DOWN. YOU JAB AT IT BUT ALAS YOUR ATTEMPTS ARE FUTILE AS IT PICKS YOU UP AND THROWS YOU OFF OF IT. YOU LAND ON THE FLOOR AND LOOK UP TO SEE THE SAME REPTILIAN CREATURE FROM YOUR DREAM. ITS YELLOW EYES STARE BACK AT YOU WHILE IT INCHES CLOSER. [[TRY AND SKURRY AWAY]]

YOU TRY TO SKURRY AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN [[RUN THROUGH THE BROKEN DOOR]]

YOU RACE OVER DOWN THE HALL TO THE RESTROOM AND LOCK THE DOOR. PANICKING YOU ATTEMPT TO REGAIN YOUR COMPOSURE BUT THE CRASHES FOLLOW YOU AND BEGAN TO BANG ON THE DOOR. [[HIDE IN THE BATH TUB]] [[LOOK AROUND]]

YOU HIDE IN THE BATHTUB BUT THAT DOSENT HELP MUCH AS AS THE DOOR FALLS AND A STRANGE LIQUID IS SPRAYED INTO YOUR EYES BLINDING YOU. SLOWLY YOU INCH TO THE CORNER OF THE TUB. YOU JUMP AS YOU FEEL A SLIMY WET THING RUN ACROSS YOUR FACE. YOU STAY AS STILL AS A STATUE HOLDING YOUR BREATH, HOPING THAT IT WILL LEAVE. [[BREATH]]

IN QUICK THINKING YOU LOOK AROUND AND YOU SEE A CRACKED WINDOW [[TRY AND ESCAPE]]

YOU TRY TO OPEN THE WINDOW AND LOOK UP TO SEE TWO YELLOW EYES GLOWING BACK IN THE REFLECTION OF THE WINDOW. YOUR BODY TURNS STIFF IN FEAR [[JUMP OUT WINDOW]]

HASTILY THINKING YOU JUMP OUT THE WINDOW AND FALL DOWN 2 STORIES AND BREAK YOUR LEG. [[LIMP AWAY]]

YOU GET UP AND AND TRY TO LIMP TO THE ROAD BUT HALF WAY THERE YOU HEAR HISSING COMING FAST BEHIND YOU. [[KEEP LIMPING AS FAST AS YOU CAN]]

YOU TRY TO GO FASTER BUT SLIP AND FALL. [[GET UP]]

YOU WINSE IN PAIN. YOU LOOK AT YOUR LEG ITS PURPLE AND SWOLLEN YOU WON'T MAKE IT VERY FAR LIKE THIS. [[CRAWL]] [[PLAY DEAD]]

YOU CRAWL A FEW FEET BEFORE A SCALEY HAND WRAPS AROUND YOUR ANKLES AND PULL YOU BACK. SCREAMING YOU KICK AND FIGHT BUT TO NO AVAIL YOUR ACTIONS ARE FUTILE AS THE REPTILIAN CREATURE SINKS ITS SHARP FANGS INTO YOU SWOLLEN LEG. [[SCREAM]]

YOU PLAY DEAD LIKE A POSSUM, LAYING AS STILL AS POSSIBLE. SLOWLY THE HISSING APPROACHES YOU. [[STAY STILL]]

AS YOU SCREAM THE REPTILIAN UNCLAMPS YOUR LEG TO SPRAY A CLEAR LIQUID FROM ITS MOUTH INTO YOUR EYES IMMEDIATELY CLOUDING YOUR VISION. [[GIVE UP]]

YOU FEEL THE MONSTER RIP OUT A CHUNK OF MEAT FROM YOUR SIDE. BLOOD TRICKLES OUT. WITH EACH BITE YOU FEEL YOURSELF LOSE CONSCIOUSNESS AS YOU SLIP INTO THE DARK EMBRACE OF SILENCE. [[take a breath]]

YOU CANT HOLD YOUR BREATH FOR LONG SO YOU DECIDE TO TAKE A SHORT BREATH. AS SOON AS YOU EXHALE A SHARP HISS FILLS YOUR EARS. YOU GLANCE BUT YOU CAN BARELY EVEN SEE. SUDDENLY A EXCRUCIATING PAIN IS SUNK INTO YOUR ARM. SCREAMING YOU TRY TO GET THE BEAST OFF YOUR ARM BUT WITH EVERY HIT THE MONSTER TAKES THE DEEPER THE PAIN GOES. [[HIT]]

YOU DONT STOP HITTING THE SCALEY CREATURE UNTIL YOU HEAR A LOUND "CRACK" FOLLOWED BY AN AGONIZING SCREAM. THE BEAST HAS AMPUTATED YOUR ARM, PAINSTAKINGLY THE MONSTERS JAWS SINK INTO YOUR RIGHT LEG. [[WINCE]]

YOU WINCE AT THE PAIN. BLOOD SQUIRTS OUT OF YOUR ARM LIKE A FOUNTAIN.SLOWLY YOU BECOME DIZZY AND FAINT. [[FAINT]]

YOU FAINT GIVING INTO THE BLOOD LOSS INDUCED DIZZYNESS SLOWLY YOU FEEL YOUR SELF SLIP AWAY FROM THIS WORLD. [[...]]

''YOU HAVE DIED FROM FATAL WOUNDS AND BLOOD LOSS -DEAD END-''

you stay as still as posable trying not to shiver in fear. you can hear the monster circle you. you feel scales run over your leg making you jump a little bit. An uneasy feeling set into you as the glow of the night is blocked out by a foreign hissing object. [[look up]]

you slowly open your eyes and look up to see forest green scales and glowing yellow eyes looking down at you. its tongue flickering, slightly grazing your face. your trapped, pinned in place by the creature. [[breath]]

you slowly exhale. thus catching the attention of the reptile above you. It opens its mouth showing off is razor sharp blades embedded into its gums. [[STRUGGLE]]

'' YOU '' ''HAVE'' ''DIED'' ''-DEAD END-''

slowly you poke your head into the room closely looking for any proof of intrusion. you look down and see your white vase knocked off the mantel. [[go look at the vase]]

you enter the room and examine the broken vase. just as you begin to pick up the pieces uneasiness blankets the room as slime covers your fingers sliding off of the broken glass. [[throw down the glass]]

a crash breaks the silence as the glass hits the floor. The slime on your hands begins to burn like acid eating through your flesh. [[run to clean it off]]

you run to go clean it off in the kitchen . as you pour soap on it and scrub it off under the water you freeze hearing "THUD THUD THUD" heading up the stairs. quickly you clean off your hands and go investigate. [[follow the sound]]

following the sound, you creep up the stairs. at the top of the staircase, you flip on the light to see something green slither into your guest room. [[race back to your room]] [[go check the guest room]]

cautiously you go to check the guest room. just as you about to turn the doorknob you realise you are defenseless [[continue inside anyway]] [[get a weapon]]

you quickly go to the hall closet and grab your baseball bat. there's no way you could face whatever behind the guest room door. [[go into the guest room]]

your hand shakes as you quickly flip on the switch .wincing from the fear of impending doom, light floods the room to show it unoccupied. you exhale in relief wiping the sweat from your forehead [[go look out the window in the guest room]]

you walk over to the window by the bed, to admire the night sky. while your attention is set to the stars you feel something wet run over the back of your leg. [[jolt]]

you run as fast as you an out of there and into your room, shutting the door tightly. if you want to survive. [[hide under the bed]] [[look around for a weapon]]

tightly you grip your bat as your hand shakes inching toward the doorknob. [[twist the knob]]

your hand twist the knob and slowly opens the door with a loud creak. cautiously you proceed into the room. but as the door, as you pass the doorway a gooey substance drips down onto your face. [[look up at the ceiling]]

looking around the room you remember the safe in your closet. quickly you race to it and try to open it. you must act quickly you can hear the monster come closer. [[open safe]]

opening the safe you see your Remington R51. you rush to load the handgun fiddling the bullets in your hands. feeling like a small child trying to get a circle block into the triangle hole. finally, you load in 4 bullets. [[go hunt the beast]]

you leave your room to hunt down the whatever is in your house. stealthily you make your way down the hallway until you come to a fork in the road. [[go left]] [[go right]]

you go left and run into an odd puddle in the middle of the hall. with this discovery, you proceed circumspectly. this hall consists of a small room you use as a small library. [[go check the small room]]

you turn to the right, the only thing down this hall is a small broom closet and a mirror. you hear some things fall behind the closet door. [[check the closet]]

quickly you pull the door open pointing your gun up before even fully looking inside. you find your time wasted as a mouse scampers out of the closet. well, I guess you should go check the left side. [[go left]]

you grip the handle then halt you can hear a faint hissing coming from the room. you grip your gun even tighter as you turn the handle. [[swing the door open]]

you swing the door open and your met with glowing yellow eyes and green spiked scales. quickly you point your gun at the monster. [[pull the trigger]]

your finger slams down on the trigger and wounds the tail of the beast. blue blood sprinkles the floor as the creation crawls into the air duct. you now have 3 bullets left you got to make these shots count. [[follow it]]

you follow the reckless banging above you in the air vent. It leads you downstairs into your den. [[enter the den]]

entering the den you see the blue blood spread across. You keep your dominant eye on the front sight so that it rests in the middle of the rear notched sight as you search the perimeter. you find the beast hiding behind the curtan you stare for a second. [[shoot it]] [[let it be]]

you quickly unload the last three bullets into it until it's not moving. blue blood is dripping down the wall, But you still have an uneasy feeling so you go to check it. [[make sure its dead]]

it clearly seems to be in pain so you lower your gun and the reptilian creature notices you and hisses spiting a clear liquid into your face. you stumble backward tripping over a table. whatever got into your eyes has blinded you. you're defenseless and blind. you're as defenseless as a baby. you can hear the floorboards creak as the monster crawls toward you. [[scramble]]

you scramble crawl away but the monster sinks into your arse. you scream out in pain. you aimlessly kick hoping to get away but none of your hits land. you then feel your skin being ripped from your leg in agony you lay in pain. by now you lay bleeding out vision still hazy and the skin missing from your arms and legs. this is torture and your about to give into the sweet release of death. [[die]]

you lightly kick at the life less body. it doesn't move but you better wait a while. [[wait a whlie]]

you wait few minutes and you pronounce it dead. you leave the body and go wash up. after that, you don't remember much but you wake up in your bed in the morning. you race out of bed to see if the dead creature is still in your den. [[check the den]]

you go into the den but find that the monster was no longer there, blood no longer covered the floor it was like the night's events never occurred. [[END]]

you're confused if it was a dream it all felt too real but in the end, it was only a nightmare. later that night when you go to sleep the reptilian creature no longer appears I guess in the end you killed your fear. ''END'' made by: lilliana pesina

you peek a little from under the bed to see a horned lizard-like creature as big as a man, flicking its tongue in the night air. you panic and accidentally hit your hand on the floor //thud// [[.....]]

the creature darts its golden eyes in your direction. your eyes are wide in horror in fear as you shuffle back going deeper under the bed until you back hits the wall, as the monster swings its claws under the bed. one claw grazes your cheek. It cuts into you like a warm knife through butter. blood pours out like sweat running down your face. The monster begins to slither under the bed. [[fear]]

you freeze in fear your like a statue. your brain is telling you to move but your limbs might as well be made out of concrete. as you stare at the reptile nips at your fingers. at first, it seems that the monster has no teeth but then a loud crunch and the loss of a ring finger. your body finally loosens up enough to try to struggle away. [[struggle away]]

languidly you look up to see the monster druling above your head. [[hit it like pinata]]

you swing at it but that only causes the monster to hurl itself down on top of you. the beast pins your arms and legs down, taking a huge bite from your neck. the pain is excruciating as it tears each tendon out. blood spews out like a sprinkler on a hot summers day. [[DEATH]]

''YOU HAVE DIED DEAD END''

you go to investagate the sound and you find that the crash is coming from your living room down the hall from your kitchen. [[go look down the hall]] [[race back to your room]]

you try to struggle away kicking and screaming but alas you cornered yourself the beast hisses loudly as you land one solid kick to its face. this was an action you would soon come to regret. as the beast digs its claws deep into your leg almost severing the appendage from your body. you scream, shrieking out in pain. you can feel your self-getting dizzy as the pool of blood forms under you. [[faint...]]

you decide to grab anything and push it in front of the door but the crashes don't seem to stop but only increase. [[crash.]]

you decide that you alone are strong enough to check the room. your hand wraps around the knob turning it slowly. the door screams as the old rusted hinges rub together opening a door to reveal a void of darkness. [[turn on the light]]

your body jolts. Quickly you turn around squishing as close to the glass as possible, examining the room looking for the culprit. [[RUN OUT OF THE GUEST ROOM]]

THE BEAST SINKS ITS RAZOR TEETH INTO YOUR NECK SLOWLY RIPPING OUT YOUR JUGGULAR.YOUR NECK IS SPEWING BLOOD LIKE A WATER FOUNTAIN.THIS ITS TORTUROUS RIPPING THE SKIN OFF YOUR FACE. WITH EACH PINT OF BLOOD LEAVING YOUR BODY, YOU FADE INTO DARKNESS... [[DEAD END]]
