You reach out towards the right hand of the Shadow Figure. The moment you touch the crown, it shatters into a million sparkles that flow into your body. I’m able to give you a certain power. I can turn you into a powerful wizard capable of casting immensely powerful spells. I could also make you extremely stealthy, a rogue capable of assassinating even the deadliest foes—finally, the tried true warrior, capable of using brute force to get out of any situation. “It’s a nice cool fall day, a great day for a jog,” you thought. The crisp, cool air of Autumn kisses your cheeks as you jog down the street, and the multicolored leaves fall all around you. You try to talk your way out of the fight with the goblins. “Oh, come on now, I’m obviously a servant of the Dragon Lord! The Dragon Lord lies defeated at your feet. He removes his helmet, looks up at you, and spits blood at you. “I see that shadowy figure known as “god” finally sent someone worthy enough to end my life. Much like he did when he sent me here to stop the Wizard King,” the Dragon Lord mumbles. “What will you do now, “hero?” Will you just become like me? Or does our “god” have other plans for you… Choose wisely,” the Dragon Lord says as he takes his last breath. Suddenly, shadows wrap around you as your vision disappears, and you feel cold. You open your eyes once more in the dark hallway when you first died. The Shadow Figure stands before you. “I knew you could do it, my hero!” the Shadow Figure says, only his bright smile visible. “Ah that… Loose lips sink ships as they say,” the Shadow Figure replies. “He was once like you, a hero I sent to slay another villain that once ruled these lands. I gave him a choice, one I will also give you. However, he took the gifts I gave to become an even bigger threat to the world than the Wizard King posed,” the figure continues. “Now, the choice is yours, but if you end up like the last one, your fate will be the same. You may remain in this world its hero, or I can send you to another world that needs your help. You will lose all the abilities and items you’ve gathered until now but will be granted new ones upon your arrival… Now make your choice!” the Shadow Figure raises his hands again. The left holds the glowing crown that brought you here, and to the right, there is what looks to be a miniature spaceship. You reach out to the right hand and grab hold of the miniature spaceship. As you walk toward the mountains, you notice some winged creatures flying at the summit. The journey through the mountains will bring you one step closer to the Dragon Lord’s Fortress. To your left, you see a large cave entrance. You can also continue up the winding path to the summit of the mountains. As you walk into the forest, you notice it is eerily quiet. The sounds of birds and other woodland creatures are nowhere to be heard. To your left, you hear the sound of water, perhaps a lake. To your right continues on deeper into the forest becoming hauntingly dark. As you carefully walk up the winding path towards the summit, you notice some rocks fall from above you. As you look up, you see a large Drake as it clings to the wall and glares at you. You enter the large cave, and bones crack under your feet as you step. You pull out your warhammer and lunge at the Dire Bear. Striking at it arms as it tries to sweep down upon you. In your attempt to defeat the Dire Bear, and in a desperate attempt you bring down your hammer upon the Dire Bears skull. In a loud, CRACK! The eyes of the Dire Bear roll back and the beast falls limp. "COO! COO!" You look where the Dire Bear was sleeping and see a baby griffon, likely to be the beasts next meal. You carry the infant out, as two Griffons land infront you of. You hand the baby over and they look you up and down, before grabbing their youngling and fly off. You attempt to run from the Drake that has leaped down behind you by running forward through the mountains. However, in your attempt to flee you stumble into four more Drakes feasting on a baby Griffon. Interupting their meal, the Drakes turn their attention to you as their desert. You stand your ground and ready for the Drake to strike. You swing your hammer down on the skull of the Drake as it attempts to snap at you. You grab hold of the beasts neck and attempt to squeeze. You feel your muscles begin to tighten and it feels like your limbs are about to rip. In a loud CRACK, you feel the Drake go limp as you snap the beasts neck. You wipe the sweat from your face and look around. "COO! COO!" You look up where the Drake was climbing to see a baby griffon in a nest. Two adult griffons land near the nest and look you up and down. As you walk into the clearing, you take a moment to allow your eyes to readjust to the sudden brightness. You rub your eyes and notice a horse watching you from the lake. As you look closer, you see that the back half of the horse has a tail similar to that of a mermaid. As you look at the kelpie, its mouth opens, and rows of teeth protrude out. As you enter the forest's darkness, you feel a chill, as if something is watching your every move. As you continue, you notice a large tree has fallen across the pathway. As you move towards the tree, you hear rustling in the trees around you. “For the Dragon Lord! You turn and run, knowing the stories if a Kelpie gets ahold of you with their adhesive skin you'll be dragged to the bottom of the lake and drown. You manage to get away from the lake and decide if you want to go to the mountains or head to the Dragon Lords Fortress. The Kelpie rushes forward and tries to swing its tail at you, however you manage to parry the attack. In one fell swoop, you swing your hammer into the chest of the Kelpie and with a loud CRUNCH you see the chest cave in. The Kelpie rears back in pain, seeing your chance you twirl your hands and cast the spell "Stone Javelin" and summon a large stone spike and send it flying towards the Kelpie. In your attempt to defeat the Dire Bear, and in a desperate attempt you throw a jar of poison in the face of the beast. With it stunned, you leap onto its back and plunge your daggers into the base of its neck. The eyes of the Dire Bear roll back and the beast falls limp. "COO! COO!" You look where the Dire Bear was sleeping and see a baby griffon, likely to be the beasts next meal. You carry the infant out, as two Griffons land infront you of. You hand the baby over and they look you up and down, before grabbing their youngling and fly off. As you fear the worst from these Dragon-Bone Golems, you scream. “Oh, dear lord! Someone help!” As you scream and avoid the blows from the Golems, familiar shadows fly down from the sky. The griffons who helped save their child from the Wyrm in the mountains. The griffons tackle and shred the golem to pieces. Both look towards you and then fly off back towards the mountains. Two medium sized meteors rain from the sky slamming into the Dragon Lord, shattering his armor. With a loud, CRUNCH, you see the Dragon Lord fall to his knees.
