As has become tradition, you're spending Sunday evening with your family in front of the TV. Tia, your [[girlfriend->gf]], has her head on your shoulder. Her tail wagging in the rhythm, she sings along to the musical number. It's [[Lena->daughter]]'s favorite, a movie about a young band's attempts to set up a charity concert. There isn't really a villain or anything, just girls doing their best and being friends. It's cute, if a little unconventional for a kids' movie.
Usually Lena sings along as well, or tries at least, but she has trouble keeping her eyes open. She's fighting, though. Adorable. You pick her up and, half asleep, she clings to you. The movie's pretty much over, anyway.
"Sweetie, let's go to bed, okay?" you whisper.
Lena nods weakly. Tia strokes Lena's cheek.
"It's been a long day, hmm?" Tia says. Your trip to the zoo must have exhausted your daughter. She's still so tiny, after all.
[[Tuck her in.->bed]]Your little harpy daughter hatched from an egg your [[brother]] found a few years ago. Thanks to your girlfriend's and your love she's turned into the adorable kid you now gush about to everyone.
Lena calls both of her moms "Mom" and she doesn't seem to care how confusing it is. Or maybe she loves having double the attention? What an efficient kid.
When she's not hopping around like a little ball of infinite energy, she likes to draw, or play with plasticine. She's fascinated by bugs. Lena also enjoys singing, hugging her moms, and smooching everyone she likes. Mostly the ladies taking care of her.
Your little darling also loves stories. She already seems to have taken a shine to lesbian romance. You must be doing everything right.
Now that you think about it, maybe the reason she only smooches women is not the lack of alternatives.
[[<<->start]] Your younger brother is a college student and... a little odd. He constantly worries about accidentally acquiring a harem. No idea why he's so terrified of the idea or so certain that it'll happen. But it's probably one of the reasons he handed Lena's egg to you, so... good for you.
He loves flowers and flowers love him. You like to joke he'll end up marrying one. It's not unlikely.
Sometimes he babysits Lena. The dozen gray hairs on his head suggest he's not the best at it.
He is a boring, plain, average human, just like you. Except you're not boring, are you? Your friends disagree. They may be joking. You may need better friends.
[[<<->daughter]] Your lamia girlfriend is the manager of a moderately popular fashion store. She prides herself on fair wages and prices, yet she still makes enough to provide for your little family. Recently she's been making an effort to spend more time with you, which meant cutting expenses a bit. Neither of you minds.
(She is aware someone is, or a lot of someones are, probably still getting exploited somewhere in the supply chain, but there's only so much she can do. Welcome to capitalism.)
You've been together for... almost five years now. God, you really need to prepare something special for your anniversary.
Tia loves brushing and playing with your hair (it's a mutual thing), which used to lead to making out on the couch and then spending the entire day in bed, but when Lena hatched you two had to learn a little restraint.
She's definitely the cooler one of you two, but you know all her weak points. You won't tell, though. That knowledge has to be earned. You're gay.
Sometimes she gets annoyed when you try to help her with stuff, but you just want to make things easier for her. You're really gay.
She's not very good at... well, most things, but she tries so hard. You're incredibly gay.
You two are technically in an open relationship, but neither of you has made use of that before. Did she suggest it because she thought she wasn't enough for you or because you were too much for her?
[[<<->start]] Sitting down one the living room couch, you tell Tia, "You haven't been to the dentist in a while." You've made sure Lena is asleep, and because Tia has been coming home late, you're more starved for her attention than usual.
"Is that so." She pinches the bridge of her nose.
"Yeah. Maybe you can make an appointment and take Lena along. Oh, but you're busy, so maybe I should call for you."
"Eh, I'll think about it." She closes her eyes. She's not thinking about it. That's fine.
Her hair, falling down her shoulders, looks dry. The ends are split. Gasp!
"You're not taking proper care of your hair, are you? It's such a shame! Maybe you should get a haircut? Remember how gorgeous you looked with short hair? Not that your current style is bad or anything, but it's good to try new things."
Tia groans. "I've had a rough day at work. Can't you be quiet for a bit?"
"Oh, yeah, sure." Apologetic and waiting for her mood to improve, you sit next to her like an abandoned puppy. Would cuddling help? Nah, she clearly needs a little space. You'd just make her mad, right? The tension has you on pins and needles.
You probably should do something else; this could take a while. Might as well get the dishes out of the dishwasher.
[[On your way to the kitchen one of the lights in the living room goes out.->escalation]]Lena is perched on one of the jungle gym's metal bars. She flaps her wings as if trying to pull the entire playground in the air.
Sitting on a bench, you enjoy life. The breeze is pleasant, the juice you bought is delicious, Lena's having fun. There's [[some weird guy->bugman]] swiping away on his phone on the other bench, but you don't even care.
Lena seems to have enough of her workout and makes her way to the slide. A [[little spider kid->spider kid]] blocks her way.
"The slide is mine!" they say.
Lena seems confused. "But it's not?"
"It is!" They try to make a scary face, but it's just really adorable. Lena squeaks with delight. She probably agrees with you. The kid absolutely refuses to let her use the slide, though. This standstill lasts several minutes. Lena is puzzled.
[[Let them figure it out on their own.->let them]]
[[Suggest a solution.->interfere]]
[[Talk to the indifferent dad.->bad dad]] You leave the apartment to go buy groceries at the store down the street when you run into [[Sylvia->scylla]] on her way home. Her beauty hits you like a ray of light. You squint.
"On your own today?" she says.
Quick, a reply! "Y-yeah, Lena fell asleep right after lunch." Okay, take a deep breath. Be cool.
"Haha, I can picture that." Her cute laugh kills you a little.
You should probably hurry up, but... "Already done with classes for the day?"
"Yup! Don't have work today, either. Maybe I should drop by and join Lena."
"Hehe, yeah." Your laughs sounds creepy. You can't really think of anything else to talk about, so you two just quietly gaze at each other. Awkward. "Umm, I gotta.."
[["Yeah, of course."->dorks]]"Wait, your hat."
"My hat!"
Lena holds still just long enough for you to place her hat on her head and then she's outside. You lock the door and chase after her. She's waiting.
"Hurry up, Mom!"
You've promised to take her to the park today, so her excitement knows no bounds. Hand in wing you walk downstairs, where you run into [[Jamal->wolfman]] and [[Mirjam->slime]]. They seem to be discussing something... terrifying? They both look nervous, which isn't typical for either of them.
Jamal rubs the back of his head. "Yes, haha... I can... I can totally take care of your sink," he says before he notices you. "Oh, hey!"
"Hello," Mirjam says, fidgeting, "going somewhere?"
"Yeah, it's park time," you say. [["What are you two up to?"->cupid]]Your neighbor with the tentacle legs — which always brush against you when you're walking past her — is a scylla. She attends the same college as your brother. They could be acquainted. For her sake you hope they're not. She's majoring in... marine studies, probably? You always end up distracted when you talk.
Her fluffy, wavy hair, her cute dresses, the glasses on her adorably big nose ensure you feel like getting the breath punched out of you every time you see her. It just gets worse when she smiles at you. This girl is upsettingly attractive. Makes you wanna curse a little.
Don't stare. You're embarrassed at your behavior.
Sylvia wears thigh highs on all her tentacles. You might have a thing for beautiful, long appendages that can crush you. Or cute girls. You definitely have a thing for cute girls.
Tia would surely agree. You feel bad about having a crush on a different girl, but you //are// in an open relationship, technically, so...
Maybe Sylvia would be up to join you two? But how do you ask her that? How does it all work? Can Tia help you figure this out?
Well, a girl can dream.
[[<<->neighbor]] Jamal is the charming wolfman who inherited the building. He makes friends easily, so tenants often invite him over for dinner or a cup of coffee. He tries not to impose, but really, people just love his company. His special skill is listening. Possibly also having a frustratingly nice beard.
Despite his almost magical popularity, he still had a hard time getting everyone to use his new name and pronouns. You can relate.
He's good with his hands. Not in that way.
Jamal is your go-to guy when you need to complain about cissexism. (You don't want this ugly stuff to have any place in your relationship with Tia. It would probably just upset her as well.)
You feel like Jamal would also vent with you if he didn't hate being negative — unless he's had a glass of wine. Don't get him drunk. It makes him cry. Protect his smile.
In his teens, he played drums in a metal band. Don't remind him. He plays jazz now. He still looks like Jesus, though. Not the white-washed version.
He howls when his hair gets stuck in zippers. You would, too.
[[<<->hat]] Mirjam lives a floor below you. She's an azure slime girl with some kind of accent? Sounds vaguely Northern European.
You don't know if she does it professionally, but she's a skilled photographer. The nicest family photos in your apartment are all her work.
She hates carpets.
Recently she's gotten pretty into fashion, so she morphs her body to make it seem like she's wearing clothes. She's still naked and translucent, though. It's cute.
Must be nice to be able to change your body to look however you want.
[[<<->hat]] You turn off the TV and sit down to cuddle. It doesn't take long for Tia to wrap you up in her tail, squeezing firmly but carefully, and kiss you. You two don't get a lot of private time, so you're always eager. There's something bothering you, though.
"Mmpgh, mmmph!" It's hard to talk while kissing and you start laughing. Tia stops. "Pull your tongue out of my mouth when I'm trying to speak." It's kind of absurd.
"Oops." She chuckles.
"You taste like cigarettes. It's a little..."
"Yeah, sorry, I've been pretty stressed out lately. I still haven't found replacements for the two girls who are moving away, so I have to help out in the store. It's not easy."
"Yeah, I understand. But..." You hesitate. Maybe you shouldn't press it. Nah, it's kind of important. You escape her embrace. "It's just... it's not the taste, or even how expensive it is. I'm worried about your health and, well, Lena."
"Whoa, hey, wait..." She's looking for a counterargument, but can't find one. It was a cheap shot, even if it is true.
"I know it's not easy to stop, but I'm here to support you. For one, I could help you //relax//."
She gazes in your eyes. Your seductive eyes. "You're right, you're right. I'm done. Stopped." She takes your hand and kisses it. "So maybe we could start //relaxing// right now?"
"Princess carry," you say, crossing your arms and pouting.
"Right away!" [[Tia scoops you up and slithers into your bedroom.->sleep]]After leaving Lena in Sylvia's capable hands, you meet up with Tia. Your plan was to have dinner, go for a walk watching the stars and full moon together, and have a few drinks.
That plan didn't account for your libido.
You pay the modest restaurant bill and immediately head to a hotel. Tia sweeps you off your feet and carries you upstairs to your room. She's faster than the elevator. Your lips are on hers before she can lock the door.
You clumsily, eagerly undress. Clothes fly across the room. Tia lays you on the bed and gets on top. Her ravenous eyes burn holes into your bra. Right now you wouldn't mind if she tore it off. Instead she slows down and goes into tease mode, runs her finger down your sternum —
and your phone rings. It's Sylvia.
"I, umm, I'm so sorry! Lena has a fever! It's... It's pretty high, I think! I don't know what to do!"
You take a deep breath. No problem. "All right, calm down. Young kids often get high fevers. They tend to be short, so it's not that bad. Cool her head with a cold compress and make sure she doesn't get too hot, okay? That means careful with the blankets. I'll be home as soon as I can. And Sylvia?"
"Y-yeah?"
"It's not your fault, okay? It happens."
She sounds relieved, just a bit, and you hang up.
Tia frowns. It's her worried mom face. "I guess you should hurry home."
[["Yeah, sorry."->go home]]
[["Well, if we're quick..."->just a bit]] "Don't worry about it," Tia says. She kisses you and hands you your clothes.
You slip into them as fast as you can. "Should we try this another time?"
"I'd hope I'm back home soon enough, but now that he have a new babysitter..."
"I definitely appreciate the privacy here, so..."
You exchange hugs, kisses, I love yous, and you're on your way back. It's just three subway stations from here.
[[Tia's scent lingers on your clothes.->home early]] Tia blinks in surprise and grins. "Oh, where did you find this irresponsible side of yours? I think I could get used to it." She narrows her eyes. "Lie down for me."
You comply. Tia kisses you as her tail wraps around your body. She nibbles on your lips and you reward her with a quiet moan. Breathing gets harder. Her tail squeezes down, lightly at first. The pressure feels comfortable, warm. You nod at Tia. Air is pushed out of your lungs. Your bones protest, your mind craves more. Tia knows exactly how far to go, especially with your greedy feedback.
She studies your face. You lose focus. Hot lips burn your neck. A deep kiss launches the fireworks. Your legs tense up so hard you might tear something, but your body is safe in Tia's embrace.
As your mind starts to function again, Tia slowly lets go of you.
"That was..."
"You don't have to tell me, I can see." Tia kisses you, slowly this time. She wipes the drool off your lips. "I'd love to cuddle, but I'm afraid I have to throw you out."
"Yeah..."
You're still a bit out of it, so Tia helps you dress. By the time you've both said, "I love you," in front of the open door, you're mostly back to normal.
[[Time to go home.->home late]] While Lena is asleep, you make use of the two benefits living apart grants you: Unrestricted access to your computer, and the freedom to fart without having to worry about bothering your girlfriend. Oh, and you can talk to yourself a lot (Hello!) and nobody will think you're weird. It's a small comfort, but you take what you can get.
You check Twitter and retweet your friend's jokes. After a sad "I miss my gf :(" tweet and the resulting kitty pic replies by your social circle, you take a few minutes to read an article a friend posted about safety guidelines for BDSM between human/monster couples. Good to keep in mind.
The evening reaches the point where people complain about stupid things an actor did and stupid things some F-list internet celebrity said and people rant and quip and yell.
You close your browser. You don't want, you don't need, any of this.
You know what you do want and you can't have it. But at least you can send Tia a half-flirty, half-desperate text message.
[[>>>>->flight]] You don't know this man. He arrived with the little spider kid, so he's probably the dad.
He might be some kind of bug and —
Okay, look, you know exactly how shitty it feels when strangers stare at you trying to figure out what you are. Let's cut it out, yeah?
[[<<->park]] "Ready?" Lena yells.
"Ready!"
She breaks into a run, leaps down the hill, flaps her wings as hard as she can, and lands in your arms. You're slowly getting bruises. Lena wriggles out of your hug and waddles up the hill again.
You've taken her to the outskirts of the city, where you have enough space and elevation for her to practice flying. It's not going well, so far, but you two are optimistic. The wind is gentle and warm, too.
At the top of the hill, Lena checks if you're paying attention. "Mom! I'm starting!"
"Okay!"
She yells again. "Ready?"
"Ready!"
She sprints, jumps, flaps. For a moment she seems to float, but a gust picks her up and carries her out of your reach. You try to catch up. She's losing altitude. Panicking, she grows stiff and drops.
You can't let this happen.
You won't make it.
[[A long figure bounds past you and catches her just in time.->end]]"Mom...?" Hugging her blanket, Lena sleepily looks up at you from her bed.
"Hey, how are you feeling, sweetie?" You touch her forehead. It is damp from the compress and still hot. No wonder Sylvia was so worried.
Mumbling and frowning, Lena tries to grab you with her feet, but only catches your skirt. "Mommy..."
The thermometer beeps. 38.2°C. "It's gone down already," Sylvia says from behind.
You stroke Lena's cheek until she falls asleep again. Sylvia and you sit down in the living room. She's made tea.
"So, how are //you// feeling?" you ask her.
"I'm... relieved. Worried. Tired. Glad you're back." She sips her tea and visibly relaxes, especially her tentacles. "Thanks."
"Don't mention it. I know how scary it is."
"Yeah, no kidding." After a minute or two of comfortable silence, she says, "Umm, can I ask something weird?"
"Well, that depends." You gesture for her to go ahead.
"Would you... hold me for a bit? I-it's just... hard to calm down and —"
"Sure." She's earned a bit of spoiling. You pull her close. She rests her head on your chest and takes a deep breath. A tentacle coils around your leg.
"Thanks, this is nice," she says. It is for you, too. When you stroke her fluffy hair, she all but purrs.
[[>>>>->park]] Lena's fever isn't that bad anymore when you arrive. You change the compress and let Lena sleep.
Sylvia's made tea for you.
"It doesn't look too bad. She'll probably be as good as new tomorrow," you tell Sylvia.
She exhales the tension from her body. "I'm glad. I haven't been this scared in a while."
"Yeah. Sorry I took so long. We were kinda... in the middle of something."
"Oh no, you were pretty —" She pauses. The implications register. "Oh! Oh. Uh. Yeah." Her gaze wanders. The marks Tia left catch her attention. You two are silent, until Sylvia probes the traces of scales on your arm. "Ah, sorry! I was just..." Her tentacles squirm. She blushes. "W-well, thanks for, uh, for everything. I gotta go."
In her hurry she bumps into the door frame. She totally squashed a boob. She yelps. You wince. She bites her lips and a tear wells up. "S-see you!"
Poor girl.
[[>>>>->park]] You're watching Lena draw when your phone rings. It's your brother. Your head starts hurting.
"H-hey, I, umm, I can't babysit Lena anymore," he says.
"What, why?"
"Look, yesterday at the library a girl started asking me about a book." He works there. "And the day before a waitress totally winked at me. A-and the florist lady was really nice to me. It's that bad already! I-I-I can't take any more risks. You understand, right?"
You groan. Loudly. In his ear.
"I'm serious! Do you know what'd happen?! I can't do this!"
"Whatever. Fine. I don't care."
"Y-yeah. Yeah. Okay. Bye. Oh, but could you lend me —"
You hang up. Lena, still focused on her work of art, asks, "Uncle?"
"Mhm." Your darling is too smart. "He can't come over to look after you for a while."
"Ok." She doesn't seem concerned. Her sheet of paper shows a crude landscape with birds in the sky. The sun smiles.
You understand.
[[>>>>->neighbor]] The spider kid, all grumpy-faced, crosses their arms. Lena sees her opportunity. She kisses the kid on the cheek and runs off giggling. The kid is perplex. Lena hides behind a tree and observes, until the spider kid runs at her with pursed lips.
You hold back laughter while the two kids, dancing around the tree, try to kiss each other's cheeks. Unlike the spider kid, Lena is not at all averse to getting smooched, though, so she gets a lot more kisses than she can give.
By the time you try to leave, the two kids have become inseparable, and the dad and you have to promise to let them meet up again.
[[>>>>->twitter]] "Lena, want to try out the swing?"
A spark in her eyes, she rushes after you. She asks for a push to get going, but then she swings her legs to increase her speed on her own. The spider kid watches you and slowly, slowly sneaks to the swing next to you. They sit down and frantically try to catch up to Lena, but it seems to be difficult with the big abdomen and eight legs.
"Want a push?" you say.
The kid nods weakly. As you get going, they get more and more into it.
"Me too, Mom!" Lena says.
You gladly oblige. Soon you switch between the two giggling kids after every push. The exercise is good for you.
When you leave, they promise to play more next time they meet. Lena is giddy on your way home.
[[>>>>->twitter]] You approach the bug guy as he glances toward the kids.
"Excuse me, could you tell your child to let others play too?" you say.
He looks at you with a bored expression and studies your face longer than seems appropriate. "Why?"
"Wh— Because the playground belongs to everyone?"
He stares at the kids. "How will they learn if I tell them what to do? Wouldn't you want your daughter to become independent?"
"Well, yeah? But they're so young they can't handle everything on their own yet."
"So? Not using the slide today won't traumatize her."
Your argument gets more and more heated until you find yourself shouting at each other. It'd feel so good to slap this jerk.
Crying interrupts your argument. Huge tears dripping down their faces, the kids beg you to stop fighting. You two pretend to be the best of friends, but they don't buy it.
The bug guy leaves with the spider kid and tries to calm them down. When you look at Lena, though, she's all smiles again. You can't believe this. Your cunning little actress.
[[>>>>->twitter]] "This whole thing wasn't exactly my best idea," Tia says. Your grip on the phone tightens. "Sunday evenings drag on and on without your favorite movie with your favorite people."
"God, do they. But don't beat yourself up, okay? You were right, I'm a control freak."
"No, no, no... Well, kind of. Sometimes. But I usually don't really mind. It's just... hard at the moment."
"Come home, then. I want to see you. I want to kiss you."
Tia is silent for a while. "I'd love nothing more right now, but it's... probably better if I don't. Not yet. It'd just confuse Lena. I'm still a bit cranky, too. Can you give her the phone for a moment?"
"Sure."
You find Lena coloring sheets of paper in her room. "Hello?" She beams when she hears Tia's voice. Lena's end of the conversation is a lot of excited uh huhs and yeahs, until she says, "Love you too, Mom!" and returns the phone. A huge grin on her face, she goes back to drawing and humming.
You continue your conversation outside.
Tia sighs. "I wish we could go on dates again. One evening would be enough. If only your brother wasn't such a... whatever he is."
"Actually," you almost sing in her ear, "I know someone who'd be up for the task..."
[[>>>>->date]] Together you bring Lena to her room and gently put her to bed, but the moment you pull up the blanket, Lena's eyes open wide.
"A story! Mom, a story!"
Tia lies down next to her. "Weren't you already falling asleep?" She pets Lena's head.
"Nuh uh."
She still looks pretty sleepy to you.
"Okay then." You take her favorite book from the shelf. It tells the story of the knight Dame Bearington who has trouble keeping up with her princess. You've memorized the entire thing by now. You read aloud while Tia keeps petting Lena. Before you reach Lena's favorite part, where the princess promises her knight a kiss if she can take her to the miracle lake, Lena nods off.
Tia and you plant a kiss each on Lena's cheek, and because you're already so close Tia gets one, too.
[[You two return to the living room.->bad for you]] Five minutes later, behind your back, Tia falls asleep.
You sigh and begrudgingly try to go to sleep, too.
After an hour of unsuccessful attempts you get up and go read a book in the living room.
[[>>>>->phone]]"Come ooon," Tia says. She gets up. "I really don't need this right now."
"The light bulbs are in—"
"I know." She opens one of the cupboard's drawers. The wrong one.
"No, on the left."
"Please!" she snaps.
"Sorry!" You bite your lips. Ah, but she might not know which... "The ones in the back."
"Oh my god, could you please shut up and let me do this?!" she yells. "The world isn't going to end if you don't micromanage everything I do! I can handle a store, I sure as hell can find these stupid fucking light bulbs!"
You freeze. Tia usually has the patience of an angel. Is that how overbearing you are? To make someone like her scream in anger?
Tia changes the light bulb in silence. She almost drops it twice. Her expression softens. [["Look, I'm sorry, I..."->move out]]Adorable little spider kid.
[[<<->park]]Lena opens her eyes and checks her surroundings. She recognizes the face smiling down on her. "Mom!"
"Tia!" You run after her. "Oh my god, is she all right?"
Tia kisses Lena's forehead. "Well, //are// you? Were you scared?"
"I wasn't! ...Just a little!" Hugging Tia, Lena says, "Are you back now?"
Tia smiles at you. "Yes, I'm back." She pokes Lena's nose. "You two weren't easy to find, so I think I deserve a reward. We need to make up for all the time we were apart, too. I hope you are ready for lots of cuddling."
You hug the two most important ladies in your life. Lena giggles. Tia kisses you.
"I missed you so much," you say.
"I missed you, too," Tia says and kisses you again and again.
Lena tries to turn around in Tia's arms. "Hey, no fair! Me too!"
Tia and you smooch your little darling. She jumps with joy.
"Well," Tia says, "weren't you gonna learn to fly?"
Lena kisses her moms back. "Mmh, breaks are important."
[[####->rollcredits]]You walk past each other and your nose catches her sweet scent. Peach?
W-wait, was she suggesting... Oh! That reminds you.
When you turn around, you catch Sylvia staring at you. She immediately focuses on her door, but... was she checking you out?
"Uh," you say, "actually, I know you're busy and all..."
Sylvia's face lights up. "Yeah?"
"We kinda need someone to babysit Lena occasionally. It's the only way to have some time for us."
"Oh..." Her smile shrinks. "Oh! Yeah! Sure! I'd love to!"
"Cool. I, uh, I'll fill you in when I'm back, okay?"
She nods. You say bye to each other and she disappears inside. Your heart is about to evacuate your chest.
You should really go buy groceries now.
[[>>>>->fight]] //You// should apologize, but your stomach feels like a black hole. No voice comes out. Tia's right. Maybe she is sorry, maybe she didn't mean it like that, but it's still the truth.
"It's hard to stop smoking when... Ugh, that sounds like a stupid excuse. I'll just... stay at a hotel for a while."
No! She can't leave you, not like this. Your voice returns, just barely. "Wh-why would you... W-we can't afford that."
"You're right. I'll stay with friends, then."
Tia goes to pack a few things. You plead and beg for her to reconsider — it's even more stress for her, what about Lena, you can change — to no avail. Lena waddles into your bedroom. You tell her, as Tia asked you to, that her mom's going on a trip, and take her back to bed. You try to keep it together for Lena's sake.
When Tia finally leaves, Lena's sleeping face is the only comfort you have. You can't bear sleeping alone in your bed, so you climb into Lena's and hold your little darling close.
[[>>>>->hat]] "Uh, umm, Mirjam has problems with her... with her sink."
You produce the smuggest smirk in your repertoire. There's something going on with these two.
Lena pulls on your hand. "Mom, is this a run the woo? Are they getting married?"
Jamal's and Mirjam's eyes bug out. They try to laugh it off, which makes it all the more obvious. You're chuckling, too.
"Wh-what are you saying?" Mirjam asks, patting Lena's head so hard her hat falls off. You pick it up. It's a little damp.
"But it's cute! Right, Mom? It's nice!"
"Yeah, it's lovely." You give them your most reassuring smile. "But we should go, Lena. The park is waiting."
"The park!"
You set off, leaving the two lovebirds behind. As soon as you're out of sight, you hear Jamal yell, "W-WOULD YOU LIKE TO HAVE DINNER WITH ME?" and Mirjam reply with, "I-I'D LOVE TO!"
You wipe the goo off Lena's hat. "Nice one, little cupid."
"What's a kyupid?"
[[>>>>->gf call]] ''The End''
Thank you for playing!
Have a nice day!
