Stray Paths

You are a stray cat. One day, you wake up and find yourself lying in a narrow alley. The cold wind is howling in your ears and your stomach is rumbling. Where will you go? [[Go left, following the sidewalk ->Passage 2]] [[Go right, into the back alley ->Passage 3]]

On this day, you find no shelter and spend the cold nights huddled in a cardboard box in the corner. You are still wandering, and despite the hardships of life, you still have hope and freedom in your heart.

You walk along the bustling sidewalk, catching the scent of food in the air. Ahead of you is a restaurant, and you lick your lips as you approach it. [[Search the dumpster behind the restaurant for food ->Passage 4]] [[Try your luck by waiting at the entrance, hoping someone will feed you ->Passage 5]]

In the dark alleyway, you suddenly notice another stray cat staring at you. Its green eyes glint in the shadows. [[Fight with it for territory->Passage 10]] [[Show kindness and greet it->Passage 11]]

You jump into the dumpster and find some leftover pizza. Just as you take a couple of bites, a man who looks like a chef spots you. [[Run away! ->Passage 6]] [[Sit down quietly to see if he’ll give you more food ->Passage 7]]

A girl notices you. She crouches down and takes out some snacks to feed you. [[Trust her, come closer and rub her leg ->Passage 7]] [[Stay cautious and keep your distance->Passage 6]]

You hurry away and disappear around the corner of the street, but your stomach remains empty. What will you do next? [[Keep wandering ->Passage 8]] [[Return to the alley where you woke up ->Passage 1]]

This kind human takes you in and brings you back home. After you've eaten and drunk your fill, you have the most comfortable sleep of your life on a soft blanket. When you wake up, you make a decision: [[Continue your wandering life ->Passage 8]] [[Stay with the human and live together ->Passage 9]]

You are no longer a stray cat. You now have a warm, stable home and a human who cares for you.

You try to challenge the cat, but it is clearly stronger than you. You are injured and chased away after the fight. [[Keep moving and search for shelter ->Passage 8]] [[Return to the alley where you woke up->Passage 1]]

The cat actually shows no hostility and shares some food with you. It even invites you to travel with it. [[Look for a new shelter together->Passage 12]] [[Say goodbye and continue on your own->Passage 13]]

You become good friends and travel through the city together in search of a better life. A new journey has begun, and although the life of wandering is still hard, you are no longer alone.
