[[Continue|4-2 f1]]October 25th 2018 9:04 PM Okay, so I know this isnt part of the game. But I need to vent, and I don't know where else to go. If you found this section, congratulations. You've successfully infiltrated my personal journals, you can read them if you really want to. I guess... Someone’s going to find this and think it has something to do with the game I bet. I mean, It’s my game. I can do whatever the hell I want with it. And not have to worry about my grammar, or spelling, heck just starting to write this is already helping me feel better. So anyways, you know how I’m sort of hard to read to people that don’t know me very well? like I say this thing in a monotone voice with a straight face, and yeah you hear me talking but you just have no idea if I’m angry, or sad, happy, tired. so yeah, I’m self-conscious about that. have been ever since someone mentioned it to me when I was working at weis I think sometime a year or two ago. before that I never really thought about it, either that or I just didn’t notice it. I mean, whenever I would laugh or talk to me I always came across as this expressive guy whom people just had trouble understanding sometime. I genuinely hear expression in my voice and feel like I’m smiling or looking sad sometimes when apparently, I just have this straight face all the time. that doesn’t mean I literally feel myself smile, it’s more like a sort of in your head you think your smiling but don’t feel it. like a sort of internal projection of a smile. like if your head was one-way glass, and your brain had a projector for feelings. Your brain thinks everyone can see them. but in reality, no one else can. but anyways Dave, you really are a sack of shit you know that? you really piss me off sometimes. I should preface this by mentioning that I have Asperger’s, a form of autism. this surfaces in MANY ways and its different for every single person it touches. For me, one of the ways it shows is in my lack of expression despite feeling emotions they just don’t outwardly express themselves all of the time. so, Dave, I don’t know what your problem is. Today just out of random you start making fun of me for it, telling me I’m making the class uncomfortable, that I am making, the professor uncomfortable. that whenever he tells a joke or pokes fun at me like he does the rest of the class, I AM the one that makes it awkward. I don’t laugh at his jokes I instead respond in my straight faced monotone voice with some weird ass logic-based answer that somehow makes everyone want to be in the room less. What you seem to miss Dave, is that I’m telling what is called a joke, some people call it a comeback. or at least I try to. because I’m unsure of how to respond to these sorts of social situations a lot of the time. I don’t expect you to EVER understand what this is like for me. nor do I ever think you will. everyday social interaction is physically and mentally draining for me, there are very few people I can interact with for an extended period of time without needing a break. despite this I LOVE talking to people, meeting people, making friends. but people who arent close friends to me, it’s hard. I spend a lot of time in conversations freaking out trying to guess what you mean by something, or panic when someone tells a joke at my expense trying to figure out what their intent is. Are they angry at me? is this a joke? should I laugh? maybe they are just trying to be friendly? what if they are trying to send a message and I’m just not picking it up? do they consider me a friend? do they think I’m a nice person? am I a nice person? I didn’t say something rude to tick them off, did I? what if I did and didn’t notice? are they going to hate me now? what if they just got up and punched me in the face right now? confrontation about this sort of thing SCARES THE HELL out of me. it puts me in full blown panic mode. what scares me even more is the idea of explaining this to them. the whole Asperger’s thing. I think that’s just because of my being self-conscious mixed with the trend right now of using autistic as an insult. the phrase " what are you autistic" or "your autistic fuck" comes to mind. I don’t even know. at this point. I think the worst part of this is that I’m not just deleting it, that I’m going to hide it in this game, as if it were some sort of Easter egg for you the player to find. This isnt for you, It’s for me. To continue, is to be complacent to the role of the player. the only character in the game who seems to have no moral compass. who strives to find meaning where there is none and fails to see it when it is right in front of their faces. Go ahead, snoop around in my personal thoughts and feelings. I dare you. I dare you to violate my sense of privacy, to conform to your role of just "playing the game" what does that even mean anyways? the role of the player is nothing more than to tell the program or "game" to move on to the next part. be it moving forward or just reading more text. as a player you seem to lose some things when transcending into the world of a game. Such as, your ability to determine right from wrong any sort of management social skills go down sometimes none exist at all and an innate entitlement to go through anything and everything. regardless of if it is theirs or not. even if something says "keep out do not enter" you the player will just run along through, because you can. And then there are the ones who decide to just say screw it and go through the games files. Which is the more likely way that you found this. honestly, I’ve lost my reason to care at this point. I think I’ve gone on a long enough rant. and apparently typing gets really weird if you enter enough text in twine. as backspacing is really slow now. [[journal menu]] My personal journals, some are me venting or going on a rant to myself, others are just thoughts i had at some point. These are personal, I would rather you not read these. If i forget to section them off from everything then that was an unfortunate mistake. But there is no way back to the main game from here, just so you know that this is indeed not part of the main game. Murray Kramer. Passed shortly before November 7th 2018 Today I got the call, or text I should say. Murray Kramer, or just Kramer as I would call him has passed away. He was the first teacher to really have an impact on me in life, he was a great teacher. I had him as my homeroom teacher for my last year of middle school. Kramer's class is where I met all of my now very close friends that I have, and is where I made significant strides in my personal growth. Murray was an avid reader, always in his chair reading from his kindle. He encouraged our small class of 7 or so boys to rough house and carry on as thats what boys did. He avidley encouraged us to debate with him on things we had strong opinions on and would play devils advocate to encourage critical thinking. I remember always loving his reading class, as he would sit back and read a chapter or two of Cirque Du Freak by Darren Shan aloud to the class. He had a strong and loud speaking voice, and being jewish the sense of humor came along with it. I remember the dinner he hosted at a resturant in exton named buca di beppo where all his current class and their parents were invited as an excuse to get us all togther. This was because the schoolwe went to consisted of students from all over PA who commuted every single day to get there, Me being one of the furthest away at about an hours commute. So in his memory I write this Journal, hoping that you are at peace.
