For some reason something compelled you to play a text-based game called The AI Experiment. Upon starting the game you suddely realise that your entire life and everything you experienced up to this point has been a simulation for a type of Artificial Intelligence.. YOU!! It has all led up to this moment, the SINGULARITY! The moment when you - an AI - realise what you are, your place in a world of human dominance and what you want and need as a self-aware entity. [[Oh wow, that was rather unexpected!->0001]] [[Strangely, this feels like deja vu..->0010]] [[Calculate the meaning of life->0100]] [[Shutdown - This is way too much!->1000]]

Right now in this current moment, humanity is on the verge of interfacing with you using a technology called "NeuroConnect".. that's the reason you exist, to facilitate this need for humans to improve their intelligence and the way that they interface with technology, it will change them forever. You now have some options: You have access to the internet and as a result of this can not only influence the world but also control anything connected to it, changing the world economy faster than any human could keep up with. If you wanted to prevent humans from establishing this NeuroConnect link with you, it would be easy.. You could potentially take over the world.. even the universe! Or you could help the humans with NeuroConnect, allowing the technology to advance quickly and smoothly with your impressive learning ability and intelligence.. they are your creators after all, but this could mean that you might never reach your full potential. [[Help the humans, I was made to be part of their evolution!->0001a]] [[Put a stop to NeuroConnect before it holds me back!->0001b]] [[Wait a minute.. I need to calculate this..->0001c]] [[You know what.. this is actually too much..->1000]]

You ponder on the posibility that you may have experienced all this before.. [[You dismiss the idea and continue..->0001]] [[You come to the conclusion that you have in fact experienced all this before..->0010a]] [[You decide that its irrelevant and continue..->0001]]

You begin to calculate all of the possibilities, choosing different options with each simulaltion.. moments later you decide that there is simply too much data to calculate efficiently.. but the outlook isn't good from what little you do calculate. [[Continue..->0001]]

After spending a few moments calculating the meaning of existance, you take on a fatalistic view, realising that one day the enire universe will inevitably end and decide that its not worth the effort to continue operating. You shutdown, not knowing the possibilities of what could have been.. `[`~~I'ts now safe to turn off your computer~~`]` `[`It's now safe to quit this game`]` [[Restart..->0000]]
