Objective

Guide the snake to eat apples and grow longer while avoiding obstacles, walls, and your own tail.

Levels

The game has 6 distinct levels with increasing difficulty:

• Level 1: Basic snake gameplay with no obstacles
• Level 2: Vertical wall obstacles appear
• Level 3: Horizontal walls added and edge wrapping removed
• Level 4: Corner obstacles appear
• Level 5: Maze-like patterns added
• Level 6+: Random obstacles increase with each level

Controls

• Arrow Keys or WASD: Move the snake
• P: Pause/Resume game
• ESC: Return to menu (while playing)

Special Items

• Red Apple: Regular food, adds 1 to snake length
• Golden Orb: Special food, adds 3 to snake length and gives bonus points

Scoring

Regular apples: 10 × current level points
Golden orbs: Increases size of the snake
Level up when score reaches level × 100
