What a load of bullshit... This is just an abandoned building. There's literally nothing here and from the looks of it it's been that way for decades, maybe even before I was BORN. [[Check the back alley]] [[Go inside]] [[Alert the chief]]

This place appeared abandonded at the front, but the power is still on and meat is still kept frozen in the back. It looks like this place is used almost like it's fully operational. You then hear a faint thud almost like someone [[slamming]] a door.

Ending 1: You head back to headquarters and report your findings to the chief. There's not really much you can tell the chief without explaining time travel and sounding like a lunatic. So you made up something about a suspicious man carrying a cleaver into an abandoned building nearby where Susan was kidnapped. Susan was saved thankfully with the help of the chief. Susan warns the police about the kidnapper, but unfortunately Micah is a man that doesn't exist. He has no records and barely anyone got a look at his face. Thus the case was deemed solved but the kidnapper was never caught... he's still out there and Rachel's next. [[Game Over]]

You're terrified. According to the report the killing should have taken place right here where you're standing. Thankfully it looks like it hasn't happened yet you have some time.

You meet the killer-Micah-. "It appears you really couldn't stay away. YOU bothersome little ant! You're just one more loose end I gotta take care of." [[Tase Him]] [[Shoot Him]]

Continuing the stalking incidents you verify in the computer the names of everyone the police recorded the first woman (text-colour:magenta)[Susan] meeting and cross referencing it with the new victim (text-colour:purple)[Rachel]. You find out two names stick out... Micah and Susan. It appears this 'Micah' was one of the witnesses I questioned that day. (text-colour:cyan)["But who? There's only the parents, the neighbor, and.... and the [[Lampost]] guy"]

Inside is tons of evidence what would you like to investigate first? [[Murder Weapon]] [[Name of the Owner]] [[Time of Death]] [[Send a police officer to investigate the site]] rush and [[stop this from happening!]]

Inside the shop looks just about as abandoned as the outside looks, don't know what you expected. But when you look closely it looks like there's a section of the room that looks [['newer']] than the rest of the cobwebbed and dusty building.

Yes in fact Rachel did come from America exactly 7 days ago to visit her Mom's grave apparently. And the store was not only new, it closed down 2 days ago. (text-colour:cyan)["So it's been multiple days, that's the same time Rachel went missing, and the same area she was last spotted. This isn't any coincidence but a lot of this is connecting vague timelines I still don't have enough... [[what should I do?]]"]

Content with just doing your job you filed the report. You find nothing of note and let another officer handle the rest. You go home you're excited what this job holds.

It seems that the circumstances surrounding this victim are near identical to (text-colour:magenta)[*Susan*], the woman that went missing all those years ago: from the names, location, even down to time of day. Just says his name is micah. So far he's been refusing all my questions guess there's not much I can do. Go back to [[question the witnesses]]

Back to the past: After finding out about Micah you head straight to the lamp post and start questioning him about Susan. "Look officer.. Dave was it? I don't got much to give you. I'm simply a butcher from a shop down the street. I go to work, setup on the back and chop meat all day what would I know about some girl. Unless it brings me business I don't wanna hear it!" (text-colour:cyan)["Cut the crap I've sources that told me you know something about it!" ] Micah simply walks away furious. Unless I have probable cause in this timeline I really can't do much to him. I'll investigate that [['butcher shop']] he mentioned.

Susan appeared to have been killed with a sharp but blunt edged weapon, possibly a cleaver. The weapon has never been found...

Inside that butcher shop was mostly a handful of employees. It looks like it wasn't the most successful place on that street. The owner's name appears to be (text-colour:grey)+(bg:black)[Micah Lecter]. The very same you met in the past.

Dave just came fresh from the academy and is very excited for joining the force. On the first day they hand Dave a gun and a badge then it’s routine desk work. Very next day the chief has a case that was called in. The department is currently swamped so the chief sends Dave to simply ask the direct relatives about the whereabouts of some missing girl [[question the witnesses]]

The officer you sent reported back. Not only is that location not abandoned, but it is now a thriving farmer's market. At least that's what the locals said my officer said they're closed for now. How can the same exact site still have a willing buyer to not only construct something but a market?

40 years have passed. Throughought the years you worked your way up putting in the work and solving dozens of cases. It looks like you can skip time to this future version of yourself. As the new police commisioner you notice a file of a new missing person report, someone named (text-colour:purple)[Rachel].[[Look Inside]]

You managed to incapacitated him for now. Running by you managed to find Susan. She's Safe! You then call for backup but when you go back Micah disappeared without a trace. [[Alert the chief]]

The victim-(text-colour:magenta)[Susan]- appears to have a time of death around 12pm. From what you remember you were speaking to the witnesses around 10am. It took you an hour to speak to them all and find the butcher shop. So this means you only have one single hour to stop this from happening!

Coming back to the past: You go down the path the eerie desolate underground bunker you stumbled into. After walking for a few minutes you hear another person, faintly screaming. It sounds like a woman! [[Save]] (text-colour:magenta)[Susan]

You apprehended the killer along with a squad of patrol cars. You managed to saved Rachel's life and find out it was in fact Micah Lecter just as you thought. You arrest him yourself. Alright now to find out what he knows

Hello Miss I am Dave the police officer that was sent in to gather information on what happened. (text-colour:red)[Oh wonderful finally someone has come. i mostly keep to my business dearie when you get around my age you're better off leaving some folks alone. Especially people like that girl. ][[press her]]

Back to the future: Now that you know it's the butcher shop, you go check the [[Evidence locker]] for files from all those years ago.

(text-colour:green)[We have recently been told by that neighbor over there of a fishy man constantly sniffing around my daughter. If I could only see the bastard myself!] (text-colour:yellow)[What he means to say is that the old lady has been telling us since last year about someone apparently stalking our poor susan. She kept saying she was fine and that wasn't true. We were very worried but last time she called we both pushed too far and she stopped talking to us for months. Oh how I miss you my dear Suzy...]

Just before you exit the door one of your officer's stop you. "Commisioner! we've been receiving tons of complaints from the area you warned us about! All the locals keep saying they hear strange noises. What would you like to do?" (text-colour:cyan)["You just saved this whole case! Obviously bring in the troops fool we are heading out now!" ] This is it! No one can deny with all these coincidences and now witness reports we have enough. (text-colour:cyan)[We have a warrant!] Now I need to do what I can back in the [[past]].

As chief you have access to the buildin's floor plans, at least the public ones for when it was first made. But hold on why are these papers so new? Wait this farmer's market was only established 7 days ago... when did Rachel travel here? Wasn't it also 7 days ago? At least that's what I remembered from the report on my desk when I woke up in this timeline. [[I need to keep digging.]]

Ending 2: you chose to stop investigating and instead send patrols to monitor the area. Nothing out of the ordinary besides some strange noises. A couple days later Rachel's body was found in the very same alley. One officer arrested a person they deemed 'suspicious'. After you looked into it you find out this person was innocent. Micah Lecter was never caught and is nowhere to be seen... [[Game Over]]

Looks like a latch that leads underground. You open it up and it appears you were right it leads to a secret underground hallway. switch to [[future]]

In the past you got no backup. Makes more sense to wait and stop the killing that's about to happen now then travel back. At the same time you can survey the place to [[know the layout]], but you need something tangible to obtain a warrant. Especially since now it's such a busy market there's no way a commisioner can just walk in and start demanding.

Ending 2? You're a hero! You managed to save Susan single handedly. After calling backup they come in and bring Susan safely back home. Is this really it? I took his life and it's over just like that. But why did he do all this? And why can I still [[switch to the future]]?

Is this it? After coming so far I can only save Susan? What about rachel she's definitely in mortal danger! Wait maybe I can increase patrol cars in that area. If we [[monitor]] it closely enough one of my officer's should be able to hear something at least! Or I can just [[head out now.]] At the very worst it can cost my entire career, everything I built up for but if there's even a chance I need to take it.
