King's Tiles was made in a week for the Discmaster Game Jam on Itch.io. The challenge was to include as many assets from the Discmaster archives as possible in the making of a new game. I chose this particular puzzle game, which has been known by several names throughout history, because it's always been a favorite of mine. Growing up in the 90's I had both of the hand-held versions of the game made by Tiger Electronics, called "Lights Out!" and I spent many long hours with them, mostly after bedtime, playing through the puzzles over and over again.
King's Tiles is coded entirely by me, Bekah Jones, in plain-old Javascript, HTML, and CSS. I try to keep my code well commented, so feel free to look through the source and add on to it, or use it as a learning tool.
