My apartment living room...The same thing it's always been. Noisy, dark, old, and dusty. Sometimes an ambulance will rush down the street and make me speculate arsen. My apartment living room is almost always cold and in need of some tlc. [[go to kitchen]] I sat on the sofa with a huff, looking down to the item I placed there earlier. That item I chose to end my life. [[pick it up]] [[re-evaluate]] I pick up my choice of weapon, and aim it towards... I can do this! I've been wallowing in my own self pity for too long! I'm weighing everyone I know down, and I need to leave before anyone else gets hurt from my stupid ass. [[do it.]] Is this really the only option...? There has to be something more...My sister will be home soon, and this is my only chance for a long time... [[pick it up]] Alas, finally... it's over. The endless screeching of pain and mental strain faded to a calming white noise. I could briefly hear running water as the black-nothingness fades. I felt free from my vessel-prison for a few moments, before the running water grew louder and closer. [[open your eyes]]My eyes open to a room of ambient light. The light was so strong, at first my pupils felt like they were burning. There was a girl standing afront of me with a smile. [[greet her.]]I open my mouth to speak, but no words come out. As she smiles, she kneels down and puts a finger to my lips and giggles. "Welcome." [["Who are you?"]] [["Where am I?"]]It's an old kitchen alright... barely any food, creaky cabinets, and a photo of my family on the fridge. I was missing from that photo... [[go to living room]] I ask her, as she furrows her brows and gives me a sad expression. "You don't remember? How tragic..." [[inspect the girl]]"You're in purgatory, sweetie." [["Who are you?"]] [[inspect the girl]] She stands about five feet tall, and has long brown hair and some sort of white toga. She also had a golden crown and simplistic facial features. Her eyes are dark, almost black. I have no idea who she is... [["I'm sorry, I don't recall who you are."]] <img src="https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/577972447543033877/577974666723983361/aya.png">"That's okay, Caiden." She smiles to me and lends me a hand to stand up. I do so and she looks down to the water. Upon looking myself, I could see a world under the glass we stood upon. It was like a glass catwalk. [["I assume you know me."]]"I've known you for longer than you've known yourself- and I already know who you will become." She turns and looks to me with a smile. As I direct my eyecontact to her- my eyes burn with light and I go blind. I can feel my body move elsewhere. [["Wait!"]]But it was too late- as soon as I shouted for her, I awoke in the grass below the glass catwalk she stood on. I look up to the glass and wave subtly. As I look around, I see two things. I saw a stone statue to my left, and a lighthouse to my right. Both were in the same proximity. [[go to the statue]] [[go to the lighthouse]]I pace myself as I reach the lighthouse. All I can hear was the shuffling of the grass under my feet, and the occasional wind blowing past me. I eventually reach it. The air grows dense and hard to breathe as the sun sets. <img src= "https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/548755022930771978/577962952208941056/image0.png"> [[knock on the door]]I approach the shrine after about 10 minutes of walking in the long grass. As I reach it, I can see it's more of a shrine than a regular statue. <img src="https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/548755022930771978/577962963072450572/image0.png"> [[inspect the plaque]] I knock on the door with the side of my fist a little too abruptly. I can hear two people talking, then suddenly stop as I knock. The door opens to two girls looking at me in shock. <img src="https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/577972447543033877/577975423070109696/New_Canvas.png"> [[ask to come in]]The girl looks to me with a raised brow, and guestures me to come in, before closing the door and locking it. I step in, shaking slightly. She looks to me with a smile. "Did you just awake?" She asks, putting a gentle hand on my shoulder. [["Yes."]]//that's all for now//The plaque on the statue reads; //Cynthia's Divine Mystery// [[sit on the bench]] [[inspect the statue]]I sit on the bench with a sigh, looking up to the sky. The air begins to get hard to breathe, as if it was getting thicker. I don't mind too much, I just try to breathe slower. The numbness of my mind was slowly coming back to me. I can hear some shuffling out in the distance, as I see a tall figure immerge from the darkness of the night. [[hide]] [[go to the lighthouse]] The statue is of a girl with long hair and fins aside her ears. Her eyes were black, and there were crystals embedded in the stone on her onyx black dress. The stone was chiseled in a graceful way- it almost gave off the illusion that she was floating in the wind. [[sit on the bench]] I hide behind the stone statue as the figure walks closer. It doesn't seem to realize me. It stood almost 7 feet tall. It walks over to the statue and sits down at the bench I was previously sitting in. I hear them strike a match, and light something I assume is a cigarette. Meanwhile, the air is getting way to dense to breathe. I start to daze out of consiousness... [[show yourself]]I jump out from my hiding spot, holding my neck as if I couldn't breathe- which I //couldn't.// He looks to me in shock, before placing his cigarette on the bench and sighing. He shuffles around for a mask, and stands up to hand me it, leading me to the bench to sit. "Put it on, it'll allow you to breathe..." //that's all for now.//
