This semester, our students stepped into the shoes of real-world game developers.
Their mission? To bring an original video game character and prop to life. From the spark of an idea to a fully realised digital creation. They began by diving into research, drawing inspiration from games, film, and pop culture. From there, they sketched, refined, and developed their concept art before translating their vision into the digital world.
But the work didn’t stop at design. Each student created their character in 3D, textured their creations, and integrated them into a playable game environment — complete with animations.
Explore the journey: browse key moments from their process, examine their models up close in our interactive 3D viewer, and watch as their characters are implemented into a game world.
