YEAR 20XX, Twodi Continent
War was a suprise. In a matter of weeks, the once peaceful Twodi Continent was plunged into chaos as the ruthless Thered Federation launched a full-scale invasion on a neighboring Pixel Nation.
The reason, same as always: resources. The Pixel Nation's rich deposits of rare pixels and advanced technology made it a prime target for exploitation.
Cities fell one by one, leveled by the Federation's overwhelming air superiority.
None of the other countries in the Twodi region were willing to help Pixel, fearing that they would be the next target of The Red's aggression. The Pixel government was forced to go into hiding, and many of its citizens were left to fend for themselves against the occupying forces.
The last hope for Pixel lay with a small group of elite mercanerie pilots, known as the Sky Ghosts that operated far from the country when attack happened. Now they have returned to Pixel, determined to fight back against Thered and reclaim their homeland.
