The Fusion of Strategy & Luck

HIVE STARGATE is a fun and addictive tactical connection game for up to 6 human or AI players that is remarkably easy to learn. Experience a unique fusion of Chess and Backgammon, combining deep strategic planning with the exciting unpredictability of the dice.

Your objective: Be the first player to reach the Stargate or to block your opponents from the gate.

ACTIONS

• Players can cycle through Human, AI, and Inactive roles by icon click.
• Custom icons can also be chosen using the ICON Stable.
• Roll: Two dice per turn. Players can use one or or both dice, or pass their turn if desired
• Claim target tile numbers with Die number matches.
• Claim any vacant tile at the cost of both Dice.
• Launch missiles to remove enemy tile threats. Limit 4 missiles per player.
• LIMIT: No player can attach to more than 2 sides of the Stargate

STRATEGY

Chains of 3 or more connected tiles are fixed and cannot be exploded. Home hexagons do not count as a connected tile but they are NOT subject to missile attack.

Each player crafts their tile chains to compete with opponents, and tile chains are dual purpose. They serve as their builder's path to the Stargate and as blockades to opponents movement.

Hive Stargate has a distinct begin, middle, and end game that requires players to think strategically, and pivot based on a constantly evolving battlefield.

ELIMINATION

Any player who becomes blocked from the Stargate by one or more players, must remove the block immediately or be eliminated from play. Tiles of eliminated players are returned to normal play.

TWO WAYS TO WIN

1. Establish an unbroken path from your home to the Stargate, then roll a 6 and click the Stargate.

2. Craft a blockade wall that prevents your last opponent from reaching the Stargate
