AI detection software will not save us. These tools are unreliable, biased against non-native English speakers, and give a false sense of certainty. They should not be used as a substitute for judgement.
What actually helps is critical AI literacy: learning to read carefully, ask better questions, and have honest conversations about how and why we write. That takes practice, dialogue, and a willingness to sit with uncertainty.
