Guide to the Mountain
You are the guardian of this valley. Your goal is to survive 60 Turns (Spring to Winter) without letting the ecosystem collapse.
1. The Three Meters
At the top of the screen are three balances. You must keep them between 0 and 100. If any hits the limit, you lose.
- Wildlife: Represents the animal population. Low means extinction; High means overpopulation/aggression.
- Bloom: Represents vegetation and magic. Low means rot; High means choking overgrowth.
- Harmony: Represents peace between man and nature. Low means war/fear; High means stagnation.
2. Controls & Forms
Use WASD or Arrow Keys to scroll the map. Click a tile to interact.
You have two forms, each with unique abilities:
- đ§ââī¸ Druid: The caretaker.
- Mend: Heal animals or cleanse Blight (Safe).
- Harvest: Gather resources aggressively (Risky).
- Ward: Create safe zones enemies cannot enter.
- Enchant: Upgrade Hives and Shrines.
- đģ Bear: The protector.
- Strike: Kill Bandits or destroy Traps.
- Roar: Panic button to scare ALL nearby enemies (Costly).
- Build: Upgrade your Cabin or set Bear Traps.
- Dig: Excavate resources from Caves and Peaks.
3. Threats
- Bandits: They move toward your Cabin and Hives. If they reach them, they steal or hurt Harmony. Kill them or Ward your lands.
- Blight: A disease that spreads to neighbors. It lowers Bloom every turn. Cleanse it immediately.
- Fatigue: Every action tires you. If you hit 10 Fatigue, you collapse. Rest at your Cabin.
4. Seasons & Map
- Rivers: Walkable ice in Winter; muddy in Summer.
- Mountains (Outer Ring): Exhausting to climb but hide Caves, Nests, and Monoliths.
- Weather: Storms double fatigue costs. Rain helps Bloom grow.
