You are an avacado named Andy. You live in a quaint Mexican restaraunt in the countryside, called Chica's. You have many friends in the fruit bowl and are happy! There is only one problem, your destiny as well of that of all other avocados at Chica's is to be turned into guacamole. This is the last thing that you want and after much contemplation, you have decided to escape the restaraunt and your formidable fate.
Quick! You have to get out before the dinner rush, do you [[jump out the window]]
or
[[sneak out the back door?]]You successfully sneak out the back door while no one is looking! You walk outside and breathe in the fresh air. You notice a bubbling blue river to your right and a plush green forest to your left.
Do you [[run into the woods]]
or
[[float down the river?]](set: $s to (text-style: "rumble"))
You jump out the window that is near your former fruit bowl home. Your protective skin keeps you from literally dying as you $s[hit the ground.] You stand up and as you get your bearings you notice a bubbling blue river to your right and a plush green forest to your left.
Do you [[run into the woods]]
or
[[float down the river?]](set: $s to (text-style: "underline"))
You dash into the woods before anyone can see you. As you walk along you hear something from above you. $s[IT'S A FUCKING HAWK OH MY GOD!]
He swoops down towards you, what do you do?!?
[[Grab a stick and fight him off! AVOCADO POWER]]
or
[[Hide! I'm a fucking avocado I can't fight!]]
<img

[[Right]]
[[Left]]Turns out avocado power isn't a thing. The hawk swoops you up because you are an avocado who can't fight.
You realize this might turn into a long journey.
Do you [[hold on for the ride]]
or
[[jump?]](set: $s to (text-style: "underline"))
$s[That's right! You cannot fight a hawk!]
(set: $s to (text-style: "bold"))
However you $s[severely] underestimated their eyesight and he scoops you up anyways.
Do you [[hold on for the ride]] or [[jump?]]The river starts to pick up speed, you see some white foam in the distance. It's a waterfall!! There's a family of chipmunks along the side of the water. You signal for their attention.
[[Next]]The river picks up speed for just a moment and you hear a distant roar. No worries, it seems to be coming from the right.
[[You go along...]]The hawk carries you for just a moment before it spies a much more appealing mouse on the forest floor.
[[He drops you]]You bite down on one of the hawk's talons and it screeches in pain.
[[He drops you]]The father chipmunk sees your cry for help and reaches out for you. You can get to him and pull yourself out, but avocados are pretty dense and you know if you take his hand he will fall into the river.
[[Take his hand]]
[[Go over the waterfall]](set: $s to (text-style: "underline"))
You lock hands with this chipmunk and as his little feet come off the ground and his wife cries, $s[his son jumps forward!]
They both pull you out of the river! Teamwork!
[[Thank you so much! You saved my life!]](set: $s to (text-style: "rumble"))
You $s[tumble] over the water fall and miraculiously survive. There was no way you could have taken that chipmunk's hand. This is your journey to freedom and involving others is not the right way to go.
You end up pulling yourself out of the river and walking into the forest, water is clearly not [[your thing]].(set: $s to (text-style: "expand"))
Andy: "That was amazing, what you both did!"
Father: "We're a family Andy, we stick together. Say now, why were you in the river to begin with?"
Andy: "I was trying to escape my fate of becoming guacamole. But... I had to leave the only family I ever knew."
Mother: $s[[Gasps]]

Andy:
[[Yes!]]
[[I appreciate it, but I want to go build my own life.]]Whole Family: "Great!"
Andy: "Woah! Weird how you all spoke in total unison just then. But thanks for taking me in!"
[[Conclusion]]The Chipmunnks nod because they understand where you're coming from.
Mother: "Won't it be lonely?"
Andy: "I've made it this far on my own I think I'll be [[alright.]]Andy stayed with the chipmunks for many years and although it was very different from the family he knew before, it was still family. He grew to love them and was able to find happiness. Some days he would look up at the sky and wonder what his life would be like if he had made different [[choices.]]Annnnnnnd the river darts back around to the waterfall you were trying to avoid.
Luckily there is a family of chipmunnks that are walking along the edge of the river, you get their attention.
[[Next]](set: $s to (text-style: "bold"))
You hit the forest floor with a $s[thud] and that protective avocado skin comes in handy because you're still alive.
After brushing yourself off you continue along the path and come across a wounded bluebird.
She looks badly hurt, broken wing most likely, but it's already getting dark and if you stop now you'll be stranded for the night with no shelter.
[[Stop and help the bluebird]]
[[Look the other way and keep going]]You were right, the wing is broken. You don't speak bird and but you are still able to build a little makeshift splint for her wing.
Night begins to settle completely over the forest and you now have no where to go. Before you can say or do anything else the bluebird scoops you up and takes you to her nest.
She chirps and hops around happily, she brings a leaf for your blanket.
You sleep peacefully in the nest [[until morning]]
<img

The bluebird chirped as you passed by but you really had no choice.
You keep along the [[worn path]] that you had been on since the hawk dropped you. (set: $s to (text-style: "fade-in-out"))
Dawn's light wakes you up, you're still in the bluebird's nest but you realize it is very close to the ground so you're able to slip out without a ride from your new friend.
You keep along the path that you have been walking and can see clearly since it is now morning. To your horror you find that this nicely paved path leads to the very farm that you were collected from as a young avocado. The Chica's truck pulls up along the dirt road and you see hundreds of avocados being placed into the back and taken away.
You hang your head at their fates. You turn around, defeated and walk in the other direction. You notice a clearing to your right and step $s[[towards it...]]As you step into the light you find yourself in a meadow filled with bright green grass, and you see other avocados!
You walk up to another avocado and ask "what is this place?"
"An avocado sanctuary. A place where we can be happy with no fear of being turned into guacamole."
"That's [[amazing!]]Andy lived happily in the avocado sanctuary for the rest of his life, until he was very wrinkly and resembled a rasin more than an avocado. He fell in love and married, and eventually he became a father, and then a grandfather. He was surrounded by his own kind, he had freedom but more importantly he realized; he had his own family.
<img

It's dark but you can tell that the path ends, you walk out into what seems like a farm! You jump with joy! [[Striking out on your own]] proved to be the right way to go.
You feel your way around the farm land and see what look like some other avocados. They look small and when you touch one it doesn't respond.
You brush it off, they're just sleeping. You decide to do the [[same.]](set: $s to (text-style: "italic"))
You wake up to dawn's gentle light and take a deep breath of $s[sweet sweet] freedom.
You stand up and stretch, birds chirp and there is a light breeze. You hear something else in the distance, it sounds like an engine...
An old beat up pickup truck pulls up and the logo on its door sends chills up your pit. The truck says "Chica's".
You turn to warn the others and see that they are not yet ripe avocados, you turn back and watch several men get out of the truck and begin to scoop up avocados.
Just as you try to run a large hand comes towards [[you]]As you sit in the dusty bed of the pickup truck surrounded by young terrified avocados you realize how horribly this adventure turned out. You are all alone and will soon face the same fate you tried so desperately to escape. You stare up at the sky and wonder how things would have turned out if you had made different [[choices.]] You find a path that looks worn in and begin walking down it. The sun is lowering in the sky and you know you must find shelter soon.
You come across a bluebird sitting on the ground and see that it is injured, most likely a broken wing.
If you stop and help her you will be stranded in the forest for the night with no shelter. If you don't help there is a chance this type of injury will kill her.
[[Stop and help the bluebird]]
[[Look the other way and keep going]] After your conversation with the family of chipmunks you head into the forest and keep along the worn down path in the middle.
You can tell that it's getting dark but you don't care, you keep going and eventually find your way to a clearing. It's very dark but it looks like a farm! You sigh with relief. [[Striking out on your own]] was the right thing to do after all!
