Different ways to play
Pick a holiday. Escape it.
Big venues, big crowds. Find your stuff, find the door.
All hats, colors, levels, and achievements appear unlocked while ON โ for testing only. Doesn't modify saved progress.
You're at a party. You don't want to be at this party. Slip out the door without getting caught in a conversation. That's it.
The door is at the top. People are between you and it. Some are dangerous. Some are very dangerous.
Move: drag anywhere โ the joystick appears under your thumb. Set it to LEFT, RIGHT, or FREE in Settings.
Slow walk: push the joystick less than halfway for a tighter detection footprint. Push it all the way to sprint at full speed. (Only with the Slow Walk setting on.)
Powerup: tap the glowing button (LEFT / RIGHT / CENTER โ your choice in Settings) or press SPACE on desktop.
Escape a conversation: if Revival Escape is on, tap the green button rapidly to break free. Otherwise, getting caught is game over.
Pause: tap the โธ in the top bar at any time.
Any NPC may roll a sub-variant on spawn (the name shows in the catch screen). Difficulty raises the chance.
Scattered on the floor. You can carry one at a time.
EASY โ smaller detection, slower NPCs, meter fills gently. Great for learning.
NORMAL โ the intended baseline.
HARD โ bigger detection, faster NPCs, faster meter. Pursuers linger.
EXTREME โ punishing. Earn the ๐ฅ Lunatic achievement.
HARDCORE ๐ โ Extreme stats PLUS auto-enables every "make it harder" setting at once: photo traps, group convos, item-grabs, drink-in-hand, family NPCs, two stalkers, a Clinger, the Suspicion Meter, Chaos Events, and Late Arrivals. Mini-map is forced off. You will be warned before play.
๐ Tutorial โ 30 seconds in a tiny room. Learn the basics.
Story โ 10 levels split into 3 acts (Casual / Gatherings / Formal). Beat one to unlock the next. Each has ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ medal targets.
๐ฒ Daily Challenge โ random level + random modifier (sprint night, crowded, dim, etc.). New one each day.
โพ๏ธ Endless โ survive floor after floor. Difficulty scales every floor.
๐ Endless Party โ one infinitely scrolling room. Track time and people-passed. Flavor banners roll by.
๐ Goodbye Tour โ say goodbye to a marked target without getting caught by anyone else.
๐ ๏ธ Level Editor โ drop furniture and NPCs, then play. Share a code with friends.
๐ Seasonal โ 10 themed parties (NYE through Christmas, plus Halloween, Beach, more).
๐ช Large Events โ 10 huge venues (Ballroom, Stadium, Carnival, Colosseum, etc.) at 3ร width. Find 4 items, then the door. Three are mazes. An on-screen pointer guides you to the next objective.
๐ฒ Random Party โ a procedurally generated chaos run, fresh every time.
๐ Speed Exit โ 3-lane auto-run sprint. Swipe to change lanes. Tap to use a powerup. About 90 seconds.
๐คธ Parkour โ auto-run landscape sprint. Tap anywhere to jump, tap again mid-air to double-jump. Hop on tables, chairs, and chandeliers โ avoid NPCs on the ground AND drunks on the chandeliers. ~90s, one continuous run across House Party โ Wedding โ Stadium โ Nightclub โ The Exit.
Slow Walk โ adds tap-vs-push speed control.
Group Convos โ adds clumps of 2โ3 NPCs already talking. Walking into the dashed circle = instant catch.
Photo Traps โ adds stationary Selfie People with cone vision.
Multiple Exits โ some levels gain a second door. Sometimes faster, sometimes guarded.
Phone Events โ random calls during play. ANSWER for invisibility, IGNORE to keep moving.
Mini-Map โ corner map with NPCs, groups, the door.
Cinematic Intros โ flavor text before each level.
Require Items โ levels gain a required keychain/coat/purse pickup. Door is locked until you grab everything.
Bathroom Decoy โ adds hidable bathroom doors. Step in to disappear for 2 sec.
Drink in Hand โ you must drop your drink at a table before leaving. The door rejects you otherwise.
Family NPCs โ adds Aunts and Uncles to applicable levels.
Stalker โ spawns The Lurker. Follows you the whole level.
Clinger ๐งฒ โ adds one pink NPC who looks innocent. Cross their detection radius once and they latch onto you forever. They never give up.
Patrol Routes โ some NPCs walk fixed paths instead of wandering.
Revival Escape โ caught in a convo? Tap-mash to escape. With it OFF, getting caught is instant game over.
Costume Party ๐ญ โ every NPC and selfie is disguised in gray until they spot you. You can't tell types apart by color. Route by caution, not knowledge.
Chaos Events ๐ โ at 15s, 35s, and 60s, a random event fires: ๐ฅ Fire Alarm scrambles everyone, โญ VIP Arrival migrates NPCs to one point, ๐ต Music Drop freezes them but expands their detection, ๐ฅ Toast Time freezes everyone (no catch possible), ๐ธ Group Photo rushes them to a target, ๐ฃ๏ธ Awkward Silence doubles detection for 3 seconds.
Late Arrivals ๐ถ โ new NPCs filter in from the bottom doorway over time. Cadence accelerates: every 15s early, every 8s mid-run, every 5s late. Caps at 2ร the starting crowd. They get a 1.5s grace fade-in.
Suspicion Meter ๐จ โ a vertical bar on the left fills while anyone can see you. ~20 seconds to fill in standard levels, 40 in Large Events. Hit 100% and "THEY KNOW" โ every NPC in the level locks onto you with +50% detection, music speeds up, and the only way out is the door (or the catch screen). Phone Calls drain the meter.
Developer Mode ๐ โ testing-only toggle. Unlocks all hats, colors, levels, and shows all achievements as unlocked without modifying your real save data.
