When you open the door, you're led to another large area. Meat hooks hang from the ceiling. Can't imagine that's doing much for your confidence right now. In fact, you feel like you could vomit. Imagine, dealing with a cop killer from the body you inspected earlier.\n\nMaybe you should open your eyes a bit more to your surroundings and stop thinking everything was about to kill you. You would understand then that you are in the middle of a meat packing warehouse.\n\nOr at least thats what it used to be.\n\nA woman screams at you, she hangs elevated from one of the meathooks.\n\nSuddenly all the lights turn on.\n\n[[Help The Woman Immediately|Helpnow]]\n
Your partner lingers back inspecting the old pile of bones rather than having your back. That could prove costly. Whatever noise you had been hearing doesn't continue. No doubt fright rendering them silent.\n\nAgain you call out softer this time.\n\nThe door handle in your reach. Just as your partner announces to you that he found a badge besides the body. \n\nYou've never felt your heart pound as hard as it does now.\n\nCould you be chasing a cop killer?\n\n[[Open The Door|Opendoor]]\n
Though you couldn't appear to be a little girl about the dark now could you? Swallowing that lump in your throat you continue onward. Your flashlight lets you see a bit ahead of you but not the entire length of the corridor.\n\nThere seems to be another door at the end.\n\n[[Open The Door|OpenMeat]]\n
Leaving the room a sense of pride overwhelms you. Saving a life always feels good. Though now you are headed in the direction of those footprints, the way your partner first wanted to go. \n\nMight as well sober up now. Oh, and let him lead he wanted to go first after all.\n\n[[Head Out|Head]]\n
You watch as the first couple of cop cars arrive. A blonde gets out, you know her well. What? Affairs happen all the time, its not like your wife knows. \n\n<html>\n<img style="width:700px" src="http://i.imgur.com/RQNStIV.png">\n</html>\n\nIt doesn’t take long before you explain what happened to Colette, the blonde. Your badge is on the line. They check the house and the two men you killed. As you duck down you avoid the first few shots, machine guns are quite powerful. Bullets ping off the car. As you sit there you realize the only way you're gonna survive this if he dies, you're cornered after all. \n\nMoving towards the rear of the vehicle you stay low. You got one shot at this. Imagine the fame you could get? Positioning yourself to glance around the back bumper you feel the bullet enter your body and then darkness.\n\nBOOM HEADSHOT!\n\n[[DEAD.|Dead]]\n
They taught you in the academy, many years ago, to never hesitate. It could mean the difference between living or dying. \n\nTurning the handle on the door you fling it open. Gun pointed straight ahead. The room is dark, an old office judging by where your flashlight flickers. A smear of blood is evident on the floor.\n\nFollowing it you see a woman chained and blind folded. Entering the room you speak calmly towards her. Its then your back up arrives. \n\n<html>\n<img style="width:700px" src="http://i.imgur.com/MfIMDmX.png">\n</html>\n\nSusan says softly "We got her. <html>\n** SWITCH **\n</html>\n\nWhy did you get stuck with the old senile cop? The moment you saw him take the woman as his own hostage you thought him to be superman now he was just trying to get you killed. Along the driveway is parked a couple of blinged out Mercedes. They provide coverage and the ability to sneak.\n\nAs you take in the situation you notice something painted on the house. Where the siding has loosened there are parts of a symbol painted with flaking red paint.\n\nIt's too bad you know very little about the gang.\n\nGlancing up you see a gun aimed directly at you from the window. About this time your idiotic partner has removed the gun from the man on the porch.\n\n[[Kill The Man In The Window|Kill man]]\n\n[[Move!|Move right]]\n
You ignore Mr. Hot Shot - what does he know, he literally almost got you killed. Time to let the law that you have lived by forever take over and decide your fate.\n\nStill pointing your gun at the man on the porch you tell him to get down. He laughs at you. Your partner has apprehended the female while you take the man into your own hands. A brief struggle he soon gives up and falls down to his knees. Placing your gun away you get his arms behind his back and cuff him.\n\nJust as you do so you hear the door behind you open. Apparently the man you shot wasn't the only one in the house.\n\n[[Turn Slowly|Turn]]\n\n[[Shoot The Figure Behind You|Shoot]]\n
<html>\n** SWITCH **\n</html>\n\nThe shots are distracting enough that you throw the woman to the ground and hold your weapon up. A direct angle of the man on the porch. Side stepping until you can see your partner and his lifeless body.\n\nShit.\n\nMaybe you should have looked at the direction of blood spatter and maybe how the holes are on his body. Next thing you know you are meeting the cold unforgiving ground. Eyes meeting the man who you did an awful job at protecting or working with.\n\nIn your next life you are getting a new partner because this is clearly his fault.\n\nDEAD.\n\n[[Restart|Start]]
<html>\n** SWITCH **\n</html>\n\nYour partner falls. Of course the killer has been watching you. Catching a glimpse of the killer, a definite looker. A single look of her brunette hair and black jumpsuit is all you needed to know it was her - the 'Widow Maker'.\n\nDrawing out your gun, you aim it directly at her and fire. You were never as good of a shot as he was, but you make contact.\n\nIn the nick of time, SWAT runs in, seemingly with enough firepower to take on an army. OF course, she doesn't easily give up that easily - in the blink of an eye, she takes her own life instead of surrender. Now not only is the final victim and the killer dead, but so is your partner.\n\nRetirement begins today.\n\nFAIL.\n\n[[End|Start]]
The port of Mayhaven is vastly large and expansive. Dozens of warehouses stretch across the large parcel of land. Concrete roads that haven't been paved in centuries are chewed up from the weather, not use. It smells of rotten fish and petrol, a very strange combination.\n\nAs you approach the warehouse you notice from its rough exterior it has seen better days. The roof is caved in and the windows have been sealed with cinder blocks. The doors are covered in sheets of plywood and a generous amount of graffiti has plagued the fragile structure. \n\nIf the suspect inside doesn't kill you then surely the structure will.\n\nGun drawn, the flashlight on top of it the only glimmer of hope for lighting your way. A warning had been issued to the suspect before an area was cleared for entrance. Stepping over piles of rubble you glance to your partner.\n\nIt was only you and him now.\n\nThe inside carries a musk that makes your insides twist, rotten eggs combined with rotten meat it was quite the repulsive stench. A factory had once been here, the mangled metal and rusted machines elude to such. You notice the dark doorway up ahead, a rat squeaks once your light shines on it and scurries off. As you approach it there are two ways to descend either right or left.\n\nTo the right are foot prints, to the left there is a smear of blood on the wall.\n\n[[Go Right|Right]]\n\n[[Go Left|Left]]\n
Forget it. You've seen enough here you may as well handle this woman. Clearly she is under the influence and who knows how much your partner has been paying attention. Children, they were a terrible distraction.\n\nYou approach the woman and using that deep authoritative voice you say simply. "You called in about the robbery?"\n\nShe doesn't answer; she is testing your patience now. Instead she turns from you.\n\n[[Demand Authority|Authority]]\n
"Are you dead? Do you see the light?"\n\n"Open your eyes, damn it!"\n\nSWAT rushes in just behind you. The 'Widow Maker' slumped against the wall - severely wounded, but breathing just enough for some intense questioning.\n\nYou both survived and have saved many victims along the way. This only in part that you did it TOGETHER. Decisions made seperately but also for one another.\n\nSeems a Hot Shot and a Veteran can work together after all.\n\n[[End|Start]]\n
She is in distress and you wish to help her but that nagging sixth sense is in the back of your head. You never got this far without it, better to continue to listen to it rather than ignore it.\n\nUpon careful inspection you notice a couple of trip wires. One immediately in front of you the other towards a set of stairs.\n\nIts then you see something move in the shadow. Your gun is immediately drawn. \n\nTime for you and your partner to work together.\n\n[[Inform|Inform]]\n
You glance down the dimly lit hallway. There are many doors but none can guarantee that there are things behind them. In fact some could be traps and how unfortunate that would be.\n\nThe corridor seems to turn at the end.\n\n[[Door 1|Doorone]]\n\n[[Door 2|Doortwo]]\n\n[[Door 3|Doorthree]]\n\n[[Door 4|Doorfour]]\n\n[[Continue|Cont]]\n
You're a quick draw, the academy always admired your ability to draw your weapon on a whims notice. Not always the smartest choice when trying to diffuse situations. Aiming it towards the man you scream.\n\n"PUT THE GUN DOWN!"\n\nIt works in the movies, right?\n\nYour partner can be seen from the corner of your eye, crouched down and awaiting a signal. The man is growing irritated, he readies his gun. You realize, you need a distraction.\n\n[[Grab The Man's Wife|Grab]]\n
You're quick with the cuffs snapping them around the woman's wrist your gun not far behind, still focusing on the man. It's then you realize you haven't heard from your partner in a couple of minutes.\n\n[[Get The Gun|Get gun]]\n
Your life is in danger and only one of you may make it out alive; it may as well be you.\n\nShots ring out, you shoot the man in the window. Glass shatters, falling towards the driveway in a rain of shards. His body follows with a loud thud.\n\nDucking down you move around the front of the car gun still drawn just as your partner is apprehending the woman. Focusing on the well built man on the porch.\n\n"We got you mother fucker!"\n\nFinally you're going to do something smart. Time for some back up.\n\n[[Continue Calling|Calling]]\n
This neighborhood is grungy. Broken bottles scatter the road and sidewalk. The home itself is in rough shape, not even a coat of paint could fix its exterior. Places like this in the city should just be gutted. A gang affiliated sign is spray painted on one of the doors. That hostage situation is looking better by the minute.\n\nA woman stands outside distraught. She isn't making sense and it's clear she's on drugs. She paces around screaming at anything from a blade of grass to the mailbox. Your partner looks at you. Maybe it's time to think about yourself.\n\n[[Let Your Partner Talk To Her|Talk to her]]\n\n[[You're The 'Hot Shot Cop' So You Do It|Do it yourself]]\n

Maybe you should give the wife a call and put her mind at ease.\n\n[[Call Your Wife|Wife]]\n\n[[Head Straight To The Docks|Docks]]\n
There is no point in wasting time. You can tell your partner is nervous he seems to be rambling to Tony and Susan. Mark nudges you with a small grin.\n\n"Thanks for being my meat shield, buddy."\n\nYou never did like Mark much.\n\n[[Enter The Warehouse|Warehouse]]\n
When you open the door, you're led to another large area. Meat hooks hang from the ceiling. Upon further inspection you notice the silver machines that lay idle. They are well taken care of. You nearly jump through your skin when he comes out with the gun. Perhaps this will make things better and he will feel less threatened then if you have a gun out.\n\nThough you have opened yourself up to him. The gang sign on the door says he has no problem with putting a few bullets into a cop.\n\nHe walks down the steps and towards his wife.\n\n"I will give you the count of three to get off my property...One..."\n\nYou should probably leave.\n\n"Two.."\n\n[[Remove Your Own Gun|Draw]]\n
<html>\n** TOGETHER **\n</html>\n\nMayhaven is a small city with a population of roughly seven thousand. Being the local hot shot cop many know your name. You were injured a few cases back, lucky for you the bullet exited your body rather than staying put.\n\nYou have a lot of love for your partner as most cops do. Generally after your shift you head out for a beer unless your wife beckons you home early to a fresh cooked meal. No kids but your partner as two.\n\nA call comes in over the radio. "Suspect on lock down all available units head over to the docks. May have a hostage inside."\n\nYou and your partner give a glance to the radio before looking to one another. Another voice comes through. 'Robbery on Lark Lane looking for any available units not headed to the hostage situation.'\n\nIt's smarter for both of you to head off to the Robbery. You both have a lot to lose.\n\n[[Robbery]]
Its better to be sure someone is there and alert them that the good guys are finally here to save the day. Your voice announces itself with a booming echo.\n\n"Is someone there?"\n\nA rustle and clatter, it has both you and your partner jumping. Your focus was so intent upon that door you didn't see the skeleton upon the floor. Keeping your light up while your partner shines his down, splitting your focus.\n\nIt was certainly human remains.\n\n[[Inspect The Remains|Inspect]]\n

The noises you are hearing could be coincidental of your imagination or they could belong to someone else. It is better to have the upper hand at sneaking rather then simply announcing yourself.\n\nCloser you come towards the door with each passing second. It is pitch black and the only comfort you have is your own heart beat in your ears. Even then, that isn't quite as soothing as it perhaps once was. The element of surprise and fear intermixing into one.\n\nYou never really liked surprises when it came to your job.\n\n[[Open The Door|Opendoor]]\n
She is a victim, what does she know. Clearly asking you to stop means she has been through plenty of trauma.\n\nYou rush forward to help her not noticing the trip wire. Your partner screams at you to stop but it is a second too late. Instead of helping her you trip the wire and a trap is set off. Killing her with a spray of blood all over that spotless room.\n\nOf course the killer has been watching you. You catch a glimpse of the killer, a female. Tall, dark brunette and it occurs to you who exactly she is. A cop once on the force gone rogue.\n\nShe earned the title 'Widow Maker' for a reason. \n\nNot only do you have a innocent life on your hands but now you're face to face with the killer whom has the upper hand.\n\nA quick bullet makes your death easy and one more cop to add to her count.\n\n[[DEAD.|Partfail]]\n
<html>\n** PLAYER ONE BEGINS **\n</html>\n\n"Fuck this. I am not in the mood to leave behind the wife. Let's go check out that robbery."\n\nReaching over, you flick the button for the lights and accelerate in the direction of Lark Lane. No big deal, you can figure out a reason for disregarding the hostage situation later.\n\n[[Go to the Robbery|Goto]]\n
<html>\n** SWITCH **\n</html>\n\nYour partner gives you a shove. "Go ahead and talk to her. This is frustrating me already." First rookie mistake, you think. Some 'hot shot cop' he is.\n\nApproaching the woman she seems to be shaking now. You reach a hand out towards her. "Miss." She jerks her arm away from you, no part of her wants anything to do with you. Good thing you have patience, but it's clear she isn't in the right frame of mind. The influence of drugs can be seen in her hazed over eyes.\n\n[[Place Her Under Arrest|Arrest]] \n\n[[Continue to Talk To Her|Talk]]\n
This was not something they taught you at the academy. You are such a control freak, the need to have the upper hand is always riding you hard. Without so much a thought you now have the woman in a head lock, gun touching her temple. The situation escalates further as the man on the porch nearly growls beneath his breath. His gun is still pointed directly at you.\n\n"Put the gun down or I'll blow her god damn brains all over the lawn!"\n\nIt takes a second for the words to sink in. The man on the porch now smiles at you, a deep chuckle filling the air. Clearly his wife means something to him. He begins to lower the gun.\n\n"I said down!"\n\nYou bark another order. He throws the gun towards your feet while your grip tightens on the woman. She lets out a pitiful moan, still rambling in slurred speech.\n\n[[Get The Gun|Gun]]\n\n[[Handcuff The Woman|Woman]]\n
You ignore Mr. Retired - what does he know, he literally almost got you killed. Apparently the man you shot wasn't the only one in the house.\n\n[[Shoot The Figure Behind You|Shoot him]]\n\n[[Turn Slowly|Turntwo]]\n
Dragging your hostage along with you for leverage you head towards the gun. Better to be in your possession rather then the hands of the enemy. Bringing a foot forward you kick the gun backwards.\n\nJust as you pull the woman back to bend down and reach for the gun shots are suddenly fired.\n\nDid you forget about that gang sign? What about your partner? \n\n[[See How Your Partner Faired|Faired]]\n
To try and diffuse situations they say talking through them can help. She is very distrought and heavily under the influence so none of this might be making sense to her.\n\nAgain you try and she begins to scream at you. None of her words make sense. She sounds like she lost something important to her. \n\nHer baby was taken?\n\nThats about the gist of what you understand. Why call a robbery then?\n\nShe is a bit out of hand now, flailing about. Time to cuff her. When you attempt to arrest her, she struggles against you.\n\n[[Get Your Cuffs Out|Arrest]]\n
<html>\n** SWITCH **\n</html>\n\nYour partner starts to descend to the right and instead your integrity is telling you left. Someone is hurt, who else would have put that blood there? A gesture with your head and reluctantly your partner begins to follow you.\n\n<html>\n<img style="width:700px" src="http://i.imgur.com/lH4jqxB.png">\n</html>\n\nMet with a narrow corridor it stretches to another door. Focusing on the door up ahead.\n\n[[Call Out|Yell]]\n\n[[Quietly Approach|Quiet]]\n
You choose right purely based on the fact you are right hand dominant. Oh and those foot prints, forget the blood. You were trying to live after all. You were never much for surprises. There was a SWAT team being called in. If they wanted to explore every inch of this place including what was behind door number three, then that was their prerogative. Not yours.\n\nPressing close to the wall, you glance around the corner. No more light, the darkness of the area is overwhelming. This wasn't doing jack for your confidence level. \n\n[[Lead|Lead]]\n\n[[Let Your Partner Go First|Partnerfirst]]\n
You slowly glance over your shoulder. Your partner suddenly shouts at you that its just a young man unarmed. Calmly you ask him to walk out where you can see him. Your hand clenches into a fist as memories of your old temper come flaring back. You try again and when she tries to push your hand away you grab her and throw her to the ground. Knee coming to her back she cries out. Cuffs removed you manage to apprehend her when you hear the cocking of a gun.\n\nA shirtless man decorated with tattoos stands on the decaying porch with a large rifle in hand; its sure to blow your brains out. He now aims it directly at you. \n\n<html>\n<img style="width:700px" src="http://i.imgur.com/vbM0rbM.png">\n</html>\n\n"Get away from my wife."\n\n[[Draw Your Own Weapon|Weap]]\n\n[[Step Back With Your Hands Up|Step backtwo]]\n
To see a victim in distress brings about an overwhelming urge to help them. A wide open area with a catwalk around and above you. This is taken into account, your gun is drawn and you are ready should any more surprises happen.\n\nRushing over to help the woman, she screams at you to stop.\n\n[[Help Anyway|Toobad]]\n\n[[Listen To Her|Listher]]\n
It's a good thing you stop - one more step and you would of trigged a trip wire. Who know what that could have triggered... \n\nThe woman can't speak, she can only gesture with her eyes. First to your feet where you do indeed see the wire and then she throws her glance off to the side.\n\nA figure can be seen off to the side. It looks small at first, blending in well with the shadowy corner. Soon, its full appearance is revealed. \n\nYour gun is drawn, as well as your partner's.\n\nTime to work together.\n\n[[Inform|Inform]]\n

<html>\n** SWITCH **\n</html>\n\nApparently they were allowing anyone these days to graduate from the academy. The moment you saw him take the woman as his own hostage you knew you were doomed. Along the driveway is parked a couple of blinged out Mercedes. They provide coverage and the ability to sneak.\n\nYou're older, reflexes do not work as well. As you take in the situation you notice something painted on the house. Where the siding has loosened there are parts of a symbol painted with flaking red paint.\n\nThis gang has killed quite a few cops on the force since you've been there.\n\nGlancing up you see a gun aimed directly at you from the window. About this time your idiotic partner has removed the gun from the man on the porch.\n\n[[Kill The Man In The Window|Kill]]\n\n[[Move!|Move]]\n
There comes a time in every man or woman's life, where you wish you had back up. This situation was never supposed to escalate like this but now that you're here you may as well go big or go six underground.\n\n"Put the gun down - you don't want to go out like this."\n\nYou've always wanted to use that line.\n\nIt takes a second for the words to sink in. The man on the porch now smiles at you, a deep chuckle filling the air. Clearly his wife means something to him. He begins to lower the gun.\n\n"I said down!"\n\nYou bark another order. He throws the gun towards your feet while your grip tightens on the woman. She lets out a pitiful moan, still rambling in slurred speech.\n\n[[Get The Gun|Get Gun]]\n
Moving around the woman you decide to stand in front of her putting your back to that gang sign. Did you forget about that? Someone within the house is watching you and in minutes the door is pulled open. Remember, you're not as young and agile as your partner. As you duck down you feel the bullet enter your body. One sudden sting as another follows. Soon you are decorated with holes as your own blood leaves your body. \n\nGuess trying to hide wasn't the best option, you should have retired last year.\n\n[[DEAD.|Dead]]\n
Focusing on the well built man on the porch.\n\n"Hands up!"\n\nTouching the radio on your shoulder you start to call in back up even as your partner tells you not to.\n\n[[Continue Calling|Call]]\n
<html>\n** SWITCH **\n</html>\n\nRescue one person and your partner thinks he is the real hot shot. You'll show him. He lucked out that he didn't get you both killed. All lies. They seem to have bought it for now. It gives you a couple days turn over time to leave.\n\nPicking up your family, you head North of the border. No one will think to look in Canada!\n\nNow you're an alcoholic and a game of Russian Roulette seems to be the best way out of this situation. You nearly jump through your skin when he comes out with the gun. The gang sign on the door says he has no problem with putting a few bullets into a cop.\n\nHe walks down the steps and towards his wife.\n\n"I will give you the count of three to get off my property...One..."\n\nYou should probably leave.\n\n"Two.."\n\n[[Remove Your Own Gun|Weap]]\n
