A Soul Inspector's Job
You have died. There has been... a clerical opening.

For seven days you will sit at the threshold between the Good Place and the Bad Place. Souls will arrive. Read their papers. Weigh their lives. Stamp their eternity.

Do the job well, and perhaps your own verdict will go kindly.
The Procedure

① Ring the bell to open the office. After the first soul, the rest of the queue files in on their own.


② Read what they say. Words in yellow are suspect — claims, pleas, bribes, or lies. Trust the paperwork, not the mouth.


③ Inspect their Record — a tally of Virtues and Sins. More sins than virtues earns the Bad Place. More virtues, the Good Place. A tie is your call. Click any document to enlarge it.


④ Some carry a golden Letter of Salvation — but letters can be forged. Cross-check its ID and name against the Record.


⑤ Beware grave sins ☠ (murder and its kin): they damn a soul outright, even with a Letter.


⑥ Stamp GOOD PLACE or BAD PLACE. New rules arrive each day — keep the Rulebook open (the tab on the left). Too many mistakes and you're dismissed.
