Once upon a time... in a deep dark forest, there lived a little glow-worm named Glimmer. Glimmer had the brightest glow of any bug! But Glimmer had one big problem... he was very, very lazy. He sat on his rock and did nothing. All day. Every day.

Every single day, Glimmer did the exact same thing. He glowed the same yellow color. He sat on the same same rock. He had the same same boring day. Never anything new. Never, ever.

All around the forest, bugs were doing cool new things! Crickets learned new songs! Beetles flew to new places! But Glimmer stayed on his rock, doing the SAME old thing. "Boring is safe," he yawned.

One night, Glimmer looked around. His rock looked the same. His glow looked the same. His life was boring, boring, boring. "Being lazy and doing the same thing makes life so dull," he sighed. He felt sad and empty.

So Glimmer got up off his rock for the first time ever! He moved his lazy little body — he wiggled, he wobbled, he WIGGLED some more! And he tried new colors — red, orange, green, blue, even purple! Every day was different now. Glimmer was the happiest glow-worm in the whole forest!
