The Magellan

You are a maintenance crew member on the spaceship Magellan and the captain has requested you for an important meeting. [[You go to the captain's chambers.]] <img src="https://www.outthere.fr/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/9948-1.jpg">

Instead of seeing the captain, there is a large holograph of him. He quickly briefs you about the many damaged areas on the ship. He explains that there is a source of these problems but he doesn't know what it is. Your assignment is to figure it out, (text-style: "underline") [it is vital to the safety of everyone on board.] [[He gives you a multi-tool]] <img src="https://i.ytimg.com/vi/abfYA4RuFd8/hqdefault.jpg">

You take it and go through the only passage open. It leads you to a door on the ship that is (text-style: "blink") [glitching.] [[You practice with the multi-tool.]]

As soon as you touch the door with the tool you hear a dinging sound and the door works as it should again. [[Haven gotten the hang of the tool you walk through the door.]] <img src="https://ak2.picdn.net/shutterstock/videos/8507362/thumb/1.jpg">

You come up on another broken area of the ship. This time it's a bit more complicated and you'll have to solve a [[puzzle.]]

You touch the panel with your multi-tool and a sliding puzzle pops up. You complete it. You've revieled a message in a different language. You think it's alien, and there's only one person on this ship who speaks [[alien...]] according to two passengers walking by. <img src="https://live.staticflickr.com/8244/8530659162_782a26ae96_b.jpg">

You've got to go find Commander Davis and get him to decode this message! [[Go left]] [[Go Right]] [[Straight ahead]]

You've stumbled into the quaters of Lt. Sanders a very important man on the ship. "Ah good you're here my computer has been messing up! Can you fix it?" "I'm actually trying to find Commander Davis." "Well if you can get this working again I'd be happy to point you in the right direction." You have to use the multi-tool and follow a (text-style: "blink") [pattern that keeps blinking] across his screen. [[You fix his computer.]]

You head to the right and pass by none other than Commander Davis. [[Talk to him]]

You come up on a mass of green slime on the floor. It looks like it came from an alien. <img src="https://s23916.pcdn.co/wp-content/uploads/Gross-Out-Slime-Party-for-Kids.jpg"> You hop over it and turn the corner to find the commander. [[Talk to him]]

"Thanks for taking care of that! Commander Davis should be around that corner." You turn the corner and almost run into the commander. [[Talk to him]]

"Commander you have to help me decode this message, I think it's alien." "Hmmm, that it is." "What does it say??" "I'm a little rusty but I believe that it says something about the mainframe." [[You run past the commander]] <img src="https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/NcMAAOSwLVZVwoLR/s-l640.jpg">

There is another maintenance crew member in uniform right past where you spoke to the commander. [[You ask him where the mainframe is.]]

"I don't know buddy, that kind of information is (text-style: "mark") [classified.] You'll have to ask the [[captain."]] <img src="https://img.purch.com/o/aHR0cDovL3d3dy5uZXdzYXJhbWEuY29tL2ltYWdlcy9pLzAwMC8yMjYvMjk2L2kwMi9zaHV0dGVyc3RvY2tfMTA4MDQ4NTcyMC5qcGc=">

You go back to the captain's quaters the way that you came and see the holographic image again. "Captain the I think the aliens have done something to the mainframe and that's what's causing so many problems" "Good work! Head downstairs and then take a right, you'll find [[the door]] to get you into the main components of the ship."

You run down the stairs and find the door marked (text-style: "outline") ["Mainframe Entrance. Authroized Personnel Only!"] <img src="https://www.safetysign.com/images/source/large-images/G2006.png"> You press your multi-tool against the lock but it doesn't open. The aliens have locked you out! You'll have to find another way to get in. [[Go back to the captain]] [[Find another crew member]] [[Neogiate with the aliens]]

You go back to the captain's quarters but the door is locked, he must have left. You go back to [[the door]] to the mainframe.

You head back towards the crew member outside Commander Davis' quaters. He is gone! But you do bump into the commander himself. Davis agrees to come with you and talk to the [[aliens.]]

You don't speak alien! (text-style: "underline") [But Davis does], you go looking for him. After explaining the situation he comes with you to talk to the [[aliens.]] <img src="https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/NcMAAOSwLVZVwoLR/s-l640.jpg">

The commander walks up to the door and knocks in a special pattern and says (text-style: "upside-down") ["Gleep Glop Goop".] The door swings open and you see green slime everywhere. The big computer in the center of the room that houses all the ship's data and makes everything function is making a horrible noise and smoking. You touch the computer screen with your [[multi-tool.]] <img src="https://media4.s-nbcnews.com/j/newscms/2018_04/2306811/180126-alien-mn-1345_a45560a5a5fd8459dcc14b914ddf1dd2.fit-760w.jpg">

A password protected screen pops-up! <img src="https://filestore.community.support.microsoft.com/api/images/6be2f6f8-a6d4-4a26-a82b-8f05f9146f1d?upload=true"> It wants a three word phrase. You think back to what the commander said outside the door and enter the code [["Gleep Glop Goop"]]

It works! The computer restores itself and everything else that was glitching on the ship. You head back to the captain's quarters.
