Smooths out hand shake by having the line lag slightly behind the cursor -- higher values steady the line more but add more delay. Applies to Draw, Erase, and the Gradient tool's Freeform shape.
Drag across a line to warp it. Hold Alt while dragging to invert the effect (Expand becomes Pinch, Push reverses direction, Twirl reverses spin).
Drag over lines, a fill, or an image to soften them. The blurred area keeps animating underneath.
Show pins
Shadow pin
Click empty space on your drawing to place a pin, then drag a pin to pose it -- move the timeline first to pose it differently at a new moment, each pose you drag becomes a key there. Click a pin to select it, then press Delete to remove it (or Alt+click it). "Show pins" only hides the pin markers visually, it doesn't affect posing. Right-click a keyframe on the timeline for the option to delete just that one.
Record: drag a pin to capture its whole motion live, instead of one pose at a time -- the timeline plays automatically from the start of its loop range while you drag, and every moment of that motion is baked in when you let go or it reaches the end. A recorded pin locks in place until Record is turned back off. Turn on Shadow Pin to see a faint marker at the pin's original position while you record, so you can judge how far you've dragged it from where it started.
Key pose at playhead
Drag a corner to scale, or just outside a corner to rotate about the pivot. Drag the small pivot crosshair to move where scaling/rotation pivots from -- the artwork won't jump when you do. Only shown while targeting a single layer with no active lasso selection, which is the only case that can be keyframed on the timeline.
Editing the gradient you just placed -- these controls update it live. Start a new drag to place another.
Linear/Radial: drag to place the gradient -- start point, drag length, and angle work just like Clip Studio Paint's Gradient tool (hold Shift to snap the angle). Freeform: draw any shape and it ripples outward from its own center across the whole canvas, the same idea as Radial but using your own silhouette instead of a circle (the Stabilization slider above smooths out hand shake while you draw it; hold Shift for straight edges) -- the shape closes itself automatically when you release, just like the Lasso, so there's no need to draw back to your starting point. With an active Lasso selection, the gradient is confined to it; otherwise it fills the whole layer. "No repeat" and "Transparent" are a single fixed pass with no animation, same as Clip Studio Paint's own gradients; Repeat/Reverse keep scrolling in a loop at the speed/frequency/direction above. After you place a gradient, all of these controls keep editing that exact gradient live -- no need to Undo and redraw -- until you start drawing a new one.
Click anywhere empty on the canvas to place a new text layer and start typing, or click an existing one to select and edit it. Drag a selected text layer's body to move it. Right-click a text layer in the Layers panel for the option to convert it to a raster (image) layer.
Drag outside the selection to draw a new one. You'll see it highlighted as you go. Hold Shift while dragging to add a new area to the selection, or Alt to subtract an area from it (or use the New/Add/Subtract buttons above). Once selected, drawing is confined to inside it, a click inside fills it with the current color, Delete/Backspace erases everything drawn inside it, and dragging inside carries the drawing along with the selection.
Click anywhere to flood-fill the connected area under the cursor with the current color. If a selection is active (from the Lasso tool), the fill stays confined inside it.

Wave curve
Drag points to reshape the curve. Double-click the curve to add a point, double-click a point to remove it. This shapes how strong the animation is at each moment of one cycle.
