Thank you for playing FRAG.MENT.ED.\n\nHere I have tried to create a brief glimpse into what it would be like to have a [[schizophrenic or psychotic|schizophrenia]] break with parania and auditory hallucinations. \n\nUse of multiple fonts and disappearing and appearing text was designed to simulate the chaos of the psychotic break and the awkward inner tension. The changing rules of the "game" (where sometimes highlighted text changed and sometimes didn't) was designed for the same purpose, and to create a sense of confusion or mistrust of the "reality" of the game. The "voices" represented in this game were copied, if not verbatim then close to, from testimonies of actual experiences of individiuals who have experienced this kind of episode.
