What did you do to me?

Seventeen years ago you signed a form in a delivery room. This evening your kid wanted a conversation with you. You cannot win this conversation — but there are several ways you can lose it. There is one narrow lane where you just stay in the room.

Who are you at this table?

How long have you carried the script?

©The Case to Wait.org

This is a game about a conversation, not a verdict on a family. It follows one teenager who feels this way, and this script doesn't speak for everyone. The argument here is with how non-religious circumcision gets handled, or more specifically - doesn't. This is not questioning anyone's faith.

A companion piece to The Form. Non-graphic. Some of your dialogue options are lines the doctor used in that game. If you're having a version of this conversation for real, a family therapist is better equipped than a browser tab.

The cookout

This game scores conversational moves, not people. The corridor is a simplification of ideas from rupture-and-repair research and from basic apology practice: acknowledge without justifying, don't make the injured party manage your guilt, and let repair be slower than the injury. It is not therapy and it is not medical advice.
