Your ship cruises forward on its own — throttle up to push through, brake or reverse to hold back or double round. Your twin cannon fires straight ahead by default, but aim with the mouse, a controller's right stick, or the on-screen aim-stick to hit targets off your flight line. Fly over the open hull, or dive into the tunnels cut through it. Watch your FUEL — running dry starts draining your HULL. Every ship is aiming its main weapon at a planet on its own clock, shown bottom-right — reach the reactor core and break it open before that timer runs out. Once it's open, run: the chain reaction tears back along the whole ship from where the core stood, picking up speed, and you have to outrun it all the way back to where you started before the next capital ship begins.
