How to play

• tap a cell to cycle it: empty ▸ self ▸ (other) ▸ empty. A self cell holds the whole mark, shrunk - the mark is made of itself.
• hold a cell to invert it: empty ⇄ solid ink, a mark ⇄ its anti (the negative). These powers unlock level by level.
• Match the target. Tap either picture to replay its recursion growing in.
• Why does pure self draw anything? A point is inked when it never escapes: zoom in forever and it always lands in a filled cell. All nine self = nothing ever escapes = solid; leave holes and points fall out at every scale - that's the lace.
• anti swaps filled ⇄ empty for everything beneath it - it is not a snapshot negative. A mark built only of selfs and antis has nothing to swap, so it saturates: undecided forever counts as ink, and the square locks solid.
• ◉ truth lens: ink = provably black (born from an ink cell), white = provably escapes, amber = never resolves - the mark's skeleton. Classic pure-recursion fractals are all skeleton.
• ◐ ghosts the target over yours · ↶ undoes · par is the fewest cells the mark needs.
