LUNAR COLONY · SHACKLETON RIM · CREW OF FOUR
Mark Florentino LLC & Kittenmancer · MIT licensed

A lunar day is 29 turns. Fourteen of them are dark — arrays make nothing, heating triples, and the colony runs on whatever you banked. Every structure you add raises the load you must carry through the next night.

WHERE THINGS ARE

  • Water ice sits deep, in ground the sun never reaches.
  • Helium-3 is solar-wind implanted — richest in the top few metres, where the sun does reach.
  • You cannot dig toward both at once.
  • The lander set down badly: its arrays are in shadow.

HOW TO PLAY

  • Tap a tile, pick a tool, then hit BUILD in the bar along the bottom.
  • Everything must connect to a habitat by dug tunnel.
  • Habitats need 3 rows of regolith overhead or the crew takes a dose.
  • CLEAR removes a building, or backfills a tunnel to restore that cover.
  • Select a mine or processor and hit IDLE. The IDLE menu below the map shuts down a whole class at once — watch that idling mines also stops your water.
  • Tap the day counter for the ledger, the full event log, and display options.
  • SURVEY shades tiles by ore grade. Pinch to zoom; FIT returns to the whole colony.
