Drop a PNG here

or click to browse - a PNG glyph sheet, or a BDF / FNT / FON bitmap font

How it works

  1. Drop a PNG sheet with glyphs in a grid - or a ready BDF / FNT / FON font
  2. Set columns x rows (auto-detected for most sheets)
  3. Type the characters in sheet order - left to right, top to bottom
  4. Download TTF, OTF or BMFont (.fnt + atlas)

FAQ

What should the sheet look like? Equal cells, one glyph each, transparent or solid background - ink is detected automatically.

What is Baseline? Pixels from the cell bottom reserved for descenders (g, j, p, q, y). 0 = glyphs sit on the cell bottom.

My sheet has antialiasing or colors. Keep them - Color font mode bakes them into the TTF (enabled automatically when detected).

Can I set a fallback (tofu) glyph? Yes - draw it in the sheet, give it any character in the list (e.g. ) and type that character in Fallback glyph. Engines using a single font show it for missing characters; browsers usually fall back to a system font instead.

Color font looks wrong in my app? Rendering differs between apps. Try unchecking Outline fallback, raising Bake scale, or enabling COLR layers.
