The Whispering Mines

Build a word. Tap any letters in order. They do not need to touch. Two letters is enough; five or more earns a power bonus.

Cast to attack. Prepare words while walking and cast when an enemy arrives. The gold bar shows its next attack. Stop choosing letters for four seconds and it attacks faster.

Green + tiles heal. Include one in a word to heal instead of attacking. Healing is capped at 15% of maximum HP and is less efficient near full health.

Pink ? tiles are wild. They resolve to the first matching dictionary word. Type a letter to assign a spare wildcard when that letter is unavailable.

Red −5 tiles hurt. Each costs 5 HP when used. Boss curses can add other costs; read the preview before casting.

Sacrifice rewrites the entire board. It costs 10% of maximum HP and clears corrupted tiles. Active boss curses still apply.

Descend through four biomes. Bosses and biomes change the rules. Clear a biome to recover your health. Beyond the final guardian, ascend or continue endlessly.

Keyboard: A–Z chooses letters; Enter casts; Backspace undoes; Delete clears; Esc pauses. You can also Tab to the board, move with arrow keys, and select with Space or Enter.

Your run saves on this device. Switching tabs pauses the game, including boss fights. Sound and difficulty preferences are remembered.
