Objective

Align 5 of your pegs in an unbroken line horizontally, vertically, or diagonally before the robot opponent does.

Controls

• Select cell: Tap an empty cell to show a dashed preview marker.
• Confirm move: Double-tap the same cell, or tap the large bottom Confirm button to lock it in.

Pente Mode Rules

Capture opponent pegs by sandwiching exactly two of them on both sides (e.g., X O O X). You win by capturing 5 pairs (10 pegs total) or getting 5 in a row.

Tactical Mode Arsenal

If Tactical Mode is active, both players receive 3 powerful single-use skills:

• Wrench: Tap wrench, then double-tap any robot peg or obstacle to remove it from the board.
• Shift: Tap shift, select one of your pegs, then select adjacent empty square to slide it.
• Steam: Tap steam, select empty cell to drop a rusty block that blocks both players forever.

Campaign Boss Passives

• Gizmo Butler: Rotates a random 2x2 grid section clockwise 90 degrees every 8 turns.
• Steam-Jaw: Spits a steam block obstacle on a random empty cell every 8 turns.
• Vector Visor: Threat Scanner highlights your 3-in-a-row and 4-in-a-row lines in orange.
• Nexus Prime: Master AI takes a double turn once per match when you threaten to win.

Steam Valve Repair (Mini-Game)

Rotate pipes to connect the steam inlet (top-left) to the outlet (bottom-right) before pressure reaches 100%. Leaks accelerate pressure buildup!

• Wrench Tool: Cleans rusted pipes. Rusted pipes cannot be rotated.
• Welder Tool: Locks a pipe's orientation to prevent accidental rotations.

Earn Scrap Metal (⚙️) from battles. Spend it in the Trophy Room to buy premium peg skins. Complete Daily Steam Quests on the main menu for bonus Scrap!
