Compilation System: hello.c Pipeline

Programs are translated by other programs into different forms, from high-level C source code down to low-level machine instructions.

CURRENT PHASE: 01 Source Code
[Source Code] Original high-level C program. Written for human programmers to read and write.
Stored on disk as a pure ASCII text file: hello.c. Not yet directly executable by hardware.
STAGE ARTIFACT: hello.c (Source Code) Format: ASCII Text
ORIGINAL SOURCE: hello.c (ASCII Text) gcc -o hello hello.c
#include <stdio.h> // Entry point: writes string payload to stdout int main() { printf("\n"); return 0; }
