Welcome to the Void. Have you ever felt like the world is against you? That whatever you do, whatever you say, it's never enough. Are you wrong? Are you right? Where do you stand? Have you ever felt like you lost your sense of being? I can't even recognize myself anymore. But then again, who really am I? Am I who others believe I am and what they tell me to be or am I who I believe myself to be? But what if I don't even believe in me? Is it possible to be a stranger to yourself? Don't you want peace? Have all of your problems ceased. finished. concluded. halted. paused. stopped. forgotten... maybe even, resolved. I'm tired. I'm incredibly tired. Even being tired seems like an invitation to invalidation from the people around you. "You can't be tired." "You're just lazy." "I've gone through worse." "You did this to yourself." I just want this to stop. Is it too much to ask for? [[>>]]

In front of me was a narrow hall with cages on each side. There were people inside who were in the same state as I was. They had chains on both of their wrists and ankles. Their movement was restricted. The only difference was that they had blindfolds on. They were the ones emitting the noises that rung from outside the gates. It pulsated louder now that I'm here in the hall. "Good luck!" the keeper smiled at me and closed the door, emitting a loud booming sound. "Agh!" I shut my ears and covered my head. The cages were opened and they were released. There were so many of them. For blind people, they really know where I was. I started to look around the room for any chance of escaping them. Nothing. Just the narrow hall and cages. I felt one of them capture my shoulders from behind. Their grip was tight that it hurt me. I attempted to break free as more of them slowly make their way over to me. "Get. Off. Me!" [[ESCAPE]] OR [[INTERACT]]

I managed to escape their hold and made a run for it. I ran down the hall not knowing where it would lead me. <img src="https://66.media.tumblr.com/1469f898438ed48555bec2d4b610e859/271be047a0755518-77/s2048x3072/4142442f59c241b4f4728dc66d1bc13bc62a8bbe.gifv" height="400px" width="620px"> I was limping my way to the end of the hall. The chains on my ankles were restricting me to take larger strides in order to get away from them. I looked back and they were closer and angrier than I noticed them to be. I tripped over the chains cuffing my ankles. "Ouch!" I was facing them and they were getting closer and louder. I struggled to get up from the floor because of my restraints. "You have no choice!" they screamed as they toppled over me. They were punching and kicking my body. They even stomped on my chest. "YOU HAVE NO CHOICE! YOU HAVE NO CHOICE! YOU HAVE NO CHOICE! YOU HAVE NO CHOICE!" they chanted as they were inflicting more pain to my body. I slowly lose consciousness. [[YOU FAILED.]]

"Why are you doing this?" I asked them, "You have no choice!" they responded in unison. They started pushing me to the cages. "You weren't here by choice! We chose you!" I wanted to escape but they tightened their grip on my body. <img src="https://66.media.tumblr.com/67d7d9002d7ea9f85c008965bbbb4981/b8534f1d24e7e326-c6/s2048x3072/98221970b7425a1d7f815837ba2c90d95c16b7b0.gifv" height="400px" width="620px"> "You have no choice!" they repeated. I was pushed inside the cage and they locked me in. I backed up farther from them and went to the center of the cage. I looked up a bit alarmed as they were circling around the cage. They made sure that I won't take off. They started beating the iron bars of the cage. I covered my ears as it shook and rung all over my body. "YOU HAVE NO CHOICE! YOU HAVE NO CHOICE! YOU HAVE NO CHOICE! YOU HAVE NO CHOICE!" they chanted as they hit the bars repeatedly. I laid down and allowed them to take over. [[LEVEL TWO]]

"SHUT UP!!" I shouted out to no one. The voices got louder. "SHUT UP!! SHUT UP!! SHUT.. UP!!!" I repeated even louder. My chest started to feel heavy. I held my body closer and laid down on the floor. <img src="https://66.media.tumblr.com/e8ba03c46d8e1639773251268d027894/b8534f1d24e7e326-1e/s2048x3072/9e28e4942f5e09dc9de7fe5a85f0b75fa9a6f495.gifv" height="400px" width="620px"> Their menacing laugh. Their words. Their torments. The voices. They're so loud and clear. So tormenting. [[YOU FAILED.]]

The louder they got, the heavier I felt. I kept my mouth shut and covered my ears even more, if it was even possible through the booming noises.
