"Ahh."
Tesseract - the four-dimensional analogue of a cube\n\nTesseract is a free project by cdf121 about an experience. This project isn’t really a video game. It’s a non-interactive fiction using some interactive elements, and an interactive tool. All options in this project don’t affect the outcome of the project.\n\nYou are currently on chapter two of a multiple chapter series.\n\nIf you haven’t played chapter one, I highly recommend it. You can play it here.\n\nChapter 1: <html><a href="https://cdf121.itch.io/tesseract-chapter-one">Chapter 1</a></html>\n\n[[Begin Chapter two.]]
“Yes that’s it.” \n\n[[“It’s going well.”]]
You’re greeted with, “Morning sunshine,” from the voice a smooth as butter, and as mindful as Mister Rogers was. The voice of Gen. Gen is cooking something you can smell it within the air.\n\n[[“Morning.”]]\n
“Well at least you got to sleep.”\n\n[[“Whatcha’ cooking?”]]\n
That’s the bathroom, but you got in late last night so you don’t need to go now. \n\n[[Go to the kitchen.]]
“I know what a toaster is, and it’s not that.”\n\n[[“Video game.”]]\n\n[[“The entertainment system.”]]
“Auh?” \nBbbrrrrriiiiiing!!! \n“Oh shit,” You exclaim as you reach for your phone.\nBbbrrrrriiiiiing!!! \n\n[[Answer phone?]]\n\n
“Scrambled eggs. Come keep me company.”\n\n[[Sit at table.]]\n
“Yes that’s it.”\n\n[[“It’s going well.”]]
“So how’s that thing you’ve been working on?” \n\n[[“Which thing?”]]\n

“Is that so?” \n\n[[“Yup.”]]
The sound of a piano plays. You wonder who’s playing if anyone that is actually plays the piano at this time, which begs the question what time is it? Well it doesn’t really matter to be honest. The blue walls of your room fills you with a sort of familiarity as if you could fly, and not die whether you’d fly too close to the sun or to the water. You bed is a modest twin size one nothing to be too proud of you think, and incessantly forget about it. To your right is a night table holding ontop of it a lamp one not too fancy to assure your wealthiness, or too poor to assert your beggar status (even though that might be true). To your left is a nice solid wall familiar blue wall. In front of you (although not fantastically) is a closet with a broken white door with black cracks in it, and to the left of the closet door is your door that leads to the rest of your house. On top of you is your faded yellow comforter. \n\n[[Listen to the piano playing.]]\n\n<html> \n<audio controls loop autoplay hidden>\n <source src="https://ia700806.us.archive.org/22/items/EinVolk/01EinVolk.mp3">\n</audio>\n</html>
That’s Gen’s room. You’re not supposed to go in there, but it’s not like you can either way, It's locked.\n\n[[Go to the kitchen.]]
The piano suddenly stops playing. There is nothing, but silence. Well not silence, but more like what we think is silent, but isn’t the sound of your breathing, walking, heart beating, veins pumping, stomach churning all noises that demand to be heard?\n\n[[Get out of bed.]]\n
You shuffle yourself out of the bedroom into the hallway lighted by the window to your left. To your right are two different closed white doors, and the wall wraps around to the dining/kitchen room which also is technically the living room. \n\n[[Examine the closest white door.]]\n\n[[Examine the farthest white door.]]\n\n[[Go to the kitchen.]]
“Oh you know the one on the... what’s it called?”\n\n[[“Video game.”]]\n\n[[“The entertainment system.”]]\n\n[[“The toaster.”]]\n
-EEEP\nYou can finally think if it weren't for the fact that you have nothing to think about.\n\n[[Think about ponies.]]\n\n[[Think about work.]]\n
[[“What about your project?”]]
You’d rather think of politics than work. Especially since if you don’t make rent this week you're fucked, because without money you can’t do shit anywhere. Unless society suddenly decides to go by the barter system.\n\n[[Examine surroundings.]]\n
“ASHHSDHERSHISRGSRHGJRSOKAEKELKEJAAIOHGJAEJO”\n“Huh?” \nThe bedroom walls of a familiar color fade into a dark grey somber figure hovering over the frond of what was your bed, alas now is a pure blinding white sand-like feature pulling you further in.\nBBEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-\n\n[[Wake up.]]\n
Bbbrrrrriiiiiing!!! Bbbrrrrriiiiiing!!! Bbbrrrrriiiiiing!!!\n“...”\nBbbrrrrriiiiiing!!! Bbbrrrrriiiiiing!!! Bbbrrrrriiiiiing!!!\n“...”\n\n[[Wake up?]]\n
You don’t want to think about that. Especially after what you caught your nephew doing in his room.\n\n[[Think about work.]]

You move the comforter to the left, and move yourself to the end of the bed. Getting up from your bed you look around you room again it’s kind of barren you think to yourself. Maybe, you should put some stuff up, but then you’d lose those comforting blue walls. Maybe, you’ll leave it as is. \n\n[[Exit room.]]\n
Gen chuckles. “Well both are true.” \n\n[[“Whatcha’ cooking?”]]
