You walk out into the middle of the town and look around, you see some people talking in a group, a tavern, and a road that you assume leads to the dungeon. What do you do? [[Walk into the tavern->Tavern]] [[Walk down the road->Road]] [[Walk up to the people->People]]

A game produced at APU by Noah Remis This game was made in an effort to reflect one of Aesops' fables. An old Lion, whose teeth and claws were so worn that it was not so easy for him to get food as in his younger days, pretended that he was sick. He took care to let all his neighbors know about it, and then lay down in his cave to wait for visitors. And when they came to offer him their sympathy, he ate them up one by one. The Fox came too, but he was very cautious about it. Standing at a safe distance from the cave, he inquired politely after the Lion's health. The Lion replied that he was very ill indeed, and asked the Fox to step in for a moment. But Master Fox very wisely stayed outside, thanking the Lion very kindly for the invitation. "I should be glad to do as you ask," he added, "but I have noticed that there are many footprints leading into your cave and none coming out. You walk towards the tavern and open the door inside you see several people an old man wearing armor that appears to be rusted and torn in places and he is missing an eye. You walk down the road until you come upon the Dungeon and see a wide-open door. Beyond that door lies a void, so dark that you can't see anything. What do you do? [[Walk into the Dungeon]] [[Turn Back to town ->Town Center]]

You walk up to the group of people and as you get closer you overhear them talking about the dungeon. "So you made it into a room that was glowing with a green light?" one of them asks. Another responds "yes, yes I did." As you get closer they see you and stop talking. What do you do? [[So you went into the dungeon?]] [[Go to the Tavern->Tavern]] [[Go toward the dungeon->Road]]

Upon entering the Dungeon the door closes behind you and two paths open up for you. The one on your left appears to emanate a low red light and on the floor, you can just make out some dried blood. The pathway on your right seems to be much nicer, it appears to emanate a blue light and there is a low tune coming out of it. What do you do? You walk up to the old man and as you approach he glances up at you for a second, then goes back to nursing his drink obviously uninterested in talking. As you approach the young woman she doesn't appear to notice you. You can just make out the words "Oh God why did it have to be you, why did you have to go into that stupid dungeon. We could have been happy." As you walk into the room you see a pedestal that looks like it should be holding something. You also see what appears to be a portal and a slumped over body surrounded by blood against the far wall. As you enter the room you see what appears to be a man, just standing there doing absolutely nothing. As you walk farther into the room the man stands straight up and you can see that it is not in fact a man, but instead some sort of machine that looks like a man. What do you do? (set: $blue to true) You slowly start to approach the machine, and as you get closer it appears to "wake up" and it looks around the room. Upon spotting you its eyes blink and it continues to examine you, and its eyes turn a bright Green and it says "Hostlie Intent Not Detected. Please state your name...". "My name is Grog." you respond. "Acknowledged, I am Unit S7-3V3N also called Steve. I am the droid built to monitor this facility. You have been given command of this Unit" [[Continue->approach2]]

You unsheathe your sword and slowly start to approach the machine, and as you get closer it appears to "wake up" and it looks around the room. Upon spotting you its eyes blink and it continues to examine you its eyes turn a crimson red and it says "Hostile Intent Detected moving to engage" and it starts walking toward you. There appear to be no weapons upon its body, but even still you don't want to underestimate it. [[Attack the machine]] [[Try to run]]

As you walk up to the body and the portal behind you seems to slowly starts to pulse. The body appears to be a young man with dark hair and wearing armor. He deosn't seem to have anything. What do you do? [[Approach the pedestal->Appraoch the pedestal2]] [[Approach the portal]] [[Leave the room]]

You approach the pedestal with the orb in your grasp, as you get closer to it the portal seems to pulse, then a clawed, slimy, red hand seems to reach out of the portal and grasp at the edge, seemingly trying to pull itself out of the portal. Where the entrance to the Dungeon used to be there now lies a smooth wall and you are left with no means of exiting the Dungeon. You ask the old man about his injuries. "Got into a fight" he responds. You rephrase "Was it the dungeon?". The man is quiet for a moment "Yes...are you going in?" You think for a moment "yes." He stares at you "If you see a man in there that is just standing there doing nothing run...run as fast as you can. You walk up to the body of the young woman's fiance and mourn for a bit before looking around for the Orb. You find it sitting in his jacket pocket a lot smaller than you thought it would be, it would have been easy to miss. What do you do? [[Approach the pedestal]] [[Approach the portal]]

"I'll be going into the dungeon soon, if I see him I'll be sure to tell him you're waiting." you say. She looks at you and says "Don't bother he's dead by now, but since you said you're going that orb I mentioned earlier, he was sure that it would close some sort of portal that leads into the demon realm. You swing your sword at the machine and the machine blocks with its metal arm. How did you not notice its metal arm its a machine!!. The machine swings it's arm at you and you block with your sword. Suddenly you feel a piercing pain in your stomach and you look down and see its other arm impaled in your gut. Your vision fades to black and you lose feeling in your body. You died. You turn around and try to run from the machine. Suddenly you feel a searing pain in your back and you look down and see a giant spearhead sticking out of your chest. You collapse and die. [[Restart->Two doors]]

You are a mercenary that has heard about a dungeon on the outskirts of a town. You want the loot in that dungeon so after gathering supplies for the journey you head out. After walking hundreds of miles to the town you have arrived. [[Continue->Town Center]]

He was talking about this artifact he had that he believed had to do with the dungeon, it's been days now nobody that came out alive has ever been in there that long. He's probably dead." You leave the room with the cyclops confused. You turn around and look at your companion for a second then ask a question "What did you say this place was for again." The construct responds "This facility along with myself was built by my previous master to test the people of this world. I was not permitted to say anything else at the time" "How about now?" you ask. It responds "Certainly master, what do you wish to know? You have decided to make the choice to bring Steve out of the dungeon. You feel a weird tingling feeling come over your body as it appears to slowly disappear, turning into little cubes. Your vision goes black and when it comes back to you see what appears to be a room made entirely of metal with blue lights running through the walls and floating pictures. Suddenly, a voice "You have passed the test. [[Continue->Good Ending]]

You have decided to make the choice to take the gold and riches. You feel a weird tingling feeling come over your body as it appears to slowly disappear, turning into little cubes. Your vision goes black and when it comes back to you see what appears to be a room made entirely of metal with blue lights running through the walls and floating pictures. You turn toward the voice and see what appears to be a man the only difference being a third eye in the center of his forehead. "You were the last chance for this universe. As you enter the room you hear a thump, then a moment and another thump. It sounds like footsteps, you look around the room and spot a cyclops walking toward you. You draw your sword and prepare to enter the fight of your life. A moment later you hear from behind you "Halt, This man is permitted to enter past this area". The cyclops freezes as if time has stopped for it and the machine that is accompanying you says "you may continue to the next room Master". [[Ok...Thank you?->Filler]]

You decide to stay in the Blue Room, it is silent for but a moment then the machine asks "Have you been through the Red Room yet master? If not we should head there now." [[Yes I have been to the red room->Yes]] [[No, I have not->Red Room]]

You wait in the room for a few minutes, then decide to leave the room. [[Continue->Two doors]]

By the time you draw your blade, the thing has fully emerged from the portal. It stands at about 15 feet tall with a long, sinewy tail that has a barbed end. It stands on two cloven hoves each the size of your head. Its eyes shine with malice and hatred...hatred for you. It takes a step and you are frozen in fear. Suddenly you hear a deep, baritone voice and it says "I am the Demon Baal and you who has freed me I feel I must thank you without you I would be unable to walk this earth, but I fear now you must die, so I may resume my destruction of this earth." as the voice finishes you feel a numbness in your hands and you look at them, you watch as they slowly turn gray and crack, then fall like sand. You are turning to dust. You have died. [[Restart->Two doors]]

You run to the pedestal and place the orb upon it. A moment then a sound like thunder, the portal seems to shake, and the thing that by now had brought more of itself out of the portal, enough so that you can just make out a face that is entirely red and giant horns, with eyes that shined with malice. The portal begins to close and the thing pulls back, but before it can get all of its body back through the portal it snaps shut and the clawed hand is left on this side where it appears to attempt to move around before falling still. (set: $red to true) [[Continue->Two doors]]

You ask them. One of them responds "so I did, what's it to you?" "I'm heading that way myself I'd like to hear what awaits me in this dungeon." you say. He responds "alright, I'll tell you then. So as I walked into the room that emanated the green light I heard a thump, thump it sounded like something was walking, something big. So I looked around and there it was...A cyclops and I ran, a cyclops is not something you can just defeat, especially not on your own. That is what awaits you in the dungeon". "Thank you." you say. "My previous master was from a different planet approximately one-hundred thousand light-years away from this one." You confusedly ask "what is a light-year?" "A light-year is the distance light can travel in one year, this is approximately six trillion miles. My master comes from a race known as the Gwylwyr in your tongue it means the Watchers. They are a race that has watched and guided the people of the universe, but now they are dying there time has finally come after many eons of watching." [[Back->Filler]]

"My previous master wanted to test your people for the right to assume his mantle, my master is dying and needs to train an heir so that he may rest. This facility was built to test your people for that purpose" "What are the qualities we are being tested for?" You ask. "Unknown. My master did not want anyone to know the qualities he seeks, they must possess them naturally." It answers. "I understand." You respond. [[Back->Filler]]

You click the red button and writing appears in the air above the button. "Making this choice will give you nothing other than control over Unit S7-3V3N and allowing you to take him from the dungeon. You click the blue button and writing appears in the air above the button. "Making this choice will give you untold riches and power. The man gasps as if in immense pain, then he says "It is time, now I die" His body slumps over and the entire room shakes, you see the lights flicker and then they move. The room is seemingly coming apart at the seams, parts of it flicker and fade out into nothingness other seem to shatter into millions of tiny pieces. Then a wave of black comes towards you and your vision goes black. Reality has broken and all that is left are blue words on a black screen with a person in a room staring at their screen waiting to make a choice. (set: $reality to true) [[Restart->Title Page]]

He answers "My people when we were young tried to develop a way to traverse into a black hole, one of the many holes in the universe. They were theorized to lead to the worlds that we had created in our stories. This resulted in tearing the barriers between worlds apart. It took us Aeons to figure out how to fix it, but we did, and ever since we have been watching the various worlds to ensure that they don't make the same mistakes that we did. With my death, as the last of my kind, those barriers will be undone again, resulting in the death of this universe. That facility was my only hope, but time after time the participants either died or failed the final test.
