Good job. You got some information. **Leader may scout 2 locations** [[Story Beat->Lost in the Woods 3]] The bandits capture you, tie you up, and drag you off to their camp. You are thrown into a cage as the bandits go back to tending their fire and relaxing. Nearby, you see another cage with a teenage boy in it. You notice he is badly injured. [[Draw Escape Challenge Card->Escape Challenge]]The bandit camp consists of a central fire, closeby tents, and a few cages behind the tents. While the cages mostly remain in view, the bandits don't always seem super attentive. There at least 5 bandits in sight, but there could be more. It looks as if you could break the blacksmith's son out of the cage without being noticed! At the beginning of combat, each player may take 1 action in turn order before starting the fight. **Story Marker B**: The enemy catches you sneaking into camp. At the beginning of combat, activate enemies once. Fight 6 bandits (A,B,C,D,E,F) at battlemap 1 (G) Players Win: [[Lost in the Woods 12]] Players Lose: [[Lost in the Woods 11]] Players Run: [[Lost in the Woods 10]]Caught in your attempt to rescue the blacksmith's son, the bandits circle you in a ring with the boy. "Kill the boy for us, and we'll let you live. Otherwise, you all die right here." Take their deal: [[Kill the boy->Lost in the Woods 8]] Turn and fight the bandits: **Gain card 005 and**[[Fight the bandits->Lost in the Woods 9]]Unable to escape your cage, you watch as the blacksmith's son dies in front of you. The blacksmith charges out of the woods a few moments later, slaughtering the bandits in a flurry of rage. After mourning for his son, he unlocks your cage and weeps. "I should have come with you. You failed because I'm a coward!" **Game Over**You get to the cage and break it open, freeing the blacksmith's son. Now all you have to do is escape with the gravely injured boy. **Succeed at sneaking away**: [[Lost in the Woods 16]] **Fail at sneaking away**: [[Lost in the Woods 7]]You meet the blacksmith on your way out. He finally mustered up the courage to come find his son after waiting so long. He helps you run. **VICTORY**----->>>>>>You defeat the bandits and save the Blacksmith's son. Good job! **Victory!**You fall to the ground in defeat and watch as the bandits also kill the blacksmith's son. "Won't be saving him after all," they laugh. Just then, the blacksmith charges in. In a burst of rage he slaughters all remaining bandits in sight. Seeing his son, he falls to the ground and screams. **Game Over**As you run from camp, you run into the blacksmith. "I decided I was done being a coward. I see you just started. You best hope I find my son alive!" He runs past you toward the camp. **Game Over**As you kill the boy, you look out into the forest around the camp and see the blacksmith's face. In a moment, the fear and timidy in his eyes shifts to a cold anger. Before you can signal to him, he disappears into the forest. The bandits laugh together and let you go. **Game Over**
