To my Nephew, Arnold Thorp

My Uncle was a very strange man.
He had never been too fond of anyone.
During one of his rare visits, he only seemed to show
interest in my grades.
It came as a shock to everyone,
that he had left me a basement full of documents.
The handwriting was neat and even, but it held a sort of restlessnes.

I have decided to leave you this archive.
It is my lifes work.

I could smell the pages of the archive. The place felt
a lot older than the colonial house above.

These documents are like no other.
They are a map of my mind,
as well as the minds of many others.
Minds very much unlike our own.

My eyes rolled from their sockets.
I had been left an endless collection of useless pulpy nonsense,
and conspiracy theories.
[[And yet somehow...]]Somehow...I felt a strange urge to [[read on]]
This archive is a trove of forbidden knowledge.
The information here is the legacy of the scarce few,
capable of the practice of old magic arts.

I felt my patience slipping.
I glanced a little further.

The paragraph you skipped was empty. This spell is
a trivial one. The one thing I ask of you, as you wander
through this archive, and begin to work its spells...

The words were beyond Emphasized. They leapt out of the page, filling me with dread.

[[DO NOT GET CAUGHT!]]

My work in the government was processing records of compromized mages.
I have littered these pages with tips and tricks that will hopefully prevent you from becoming an overclocked NSA CPU.
Anyway, begin at [[file cabinet A1]]
(note, that much of this archive lacks in basic organization, I leave figuring out that part to you.)
The first of the massive metal file cabinets towers above you.
You pick up the [[first]] file.
You pick a [[random]] file.
A mage isn’t a mage until he’s filled a file cabinet with novel spells.
A great mage, is first and formost curious.
He is eager to uncover what has been lost, and what has yet to be found.

That is an approach, I guess.

[[You grab another ‘Random’ note.]]
