''The Dream Den''
A game by Alexander Eden
[[Begin]]It's raining, [[again.]] Heavy as always. The [[radio]] says that skies should clear up any day now, but they always say that.
The flickering neon sign of [[The Dream Den]] glows softly in the dark shower of rain drops, like a lighthouse in the storm. You're in need of a drink.
[[Get inside the Dream Den.]]Been raining for two months straight. Sometimes just a drizzle, sometimes thunderstorms, but there's rarely a time water isn't coming down from the sky. Thank God for those city planners back in the day, or this place would have been flooded ages ago.
[[Back ->Begin]] 97.3, THE DRIVE, YOUR NUMBER ONE SOURCE FOR WEATHER, ENTERTAINMENT, AND NEWS THAT THE //OTHER GUYS// ARE TOO AFRAID TO COVER.
WE'VE GOT ANOTHER SHOWER COMING IN TONIGHT, SO KEEP THOSE UMBRELLAS CLOSE AND THOSE RAIN SLICKERS BUTTONED UP TIGHT, 'CAUSE IT'S GONNA BE A WET ONE.
NOW [[BACK ->Begin]] TO THE MUSIC."Finest fantasy bar this side of the border. Whether you just need a quick dream or a full on odyssey, The Dream Den has just the right cocktail for you."
-An ad for the place you always think [[back ->Begin]] on. You walk through the storm into the pink glow of the sign and to the sliding doors of the building. They slide open for you, as they do for everyone. At this point though you like to imagine they're opening //just// for you since you're such good friends with the place.
The sudden steamy warmth of the Den all at once raises your goosebumps and relaxes your bones. The familiar icons are all in place. The bartender, [[Reve]], shaking up the latest liquid fantasy in his mixer. The singer, [[Penelope]], taking her break. A few other bar flies like yourself fast asleep.
[[Go to the bar.]]
[[Speak with Penelope.]]Reve's been tending The Dream Den for over thirteen years now. Before the bar he was a soldier and before that he was a sailor. A real life of adventure, he likes to put it. His stories seem real though for all you know those might just be some potent dreams he mixed up for himself. Regardless, he makes a mean drink that keeps you coming back for more.
[[Back ->Get inside the Dream Den.]] You always come into the Den just as Penelope is off the clock. It's a shame, really, you hear she's got some fantastic pipes. She's been working in the Dream Den for about six years now. She says she'll leave this place one day, but everyone knows she's grown to like it here; maybe for the people, maybe for the drinks.
[[Back ->Get inside the Dream Den.]] You make your way to the bar and take a seat on your favorite stool. It's right in the center of all the others, the middle of the action. Reve tends bar, mixing drinks and cleaning spills like a machine, eyes always set on the task at hand. Through it all he still addresses you.
"Hey there, friend. What's your poison this time?"
You look over the menu that hangs over Reve's head on a chalkboard. Adventure stories, ghost stories, romance stories, they have everything here. Still, you've found a few favorites after years of trying drinks...you're just not sure sure which one you want today.
"Just tell me what you want to order, the order taker's still broken."
Ah yes, the order taker. The self serving machine that mixes your drinks for you with a push of a button. You think Reve purposely broke it so he could have more to do. No matter, time to dream.
[[Order a Medieval Fantasy.]]
[[Order a Spaghetti Western.]]
[[Order a Space Odyssey.]]
[[1]][[2]][[3]]
[[4]][[5]][[6]]
[[7]][[8]][[9]]You walk over to Penelope, who smiles when she sees you.
"Long time no see," she says. She sees you every week, that's just a little joke she likes to tell...constantly.
The two of you go over the usual things. Work, recent events, the rain, those sorts of things. It's always nice to talk to someone before you drink yourself into a fantasy. Helps normalize things.

[[Back->Go to the bar.]] You order a Medieval Fantasy, a favorite for many in the Dream Den.
"Knights and dragons coming up," says Reve, pulling out a long lime green bottle. He slides a whiskey glass in front of you and pours into it, the liquid looking like some kind of artificially colored mouth wash. Then he takes out a thin pink vial from his shirt pocket and twists the cap off, pouring a dash of the ever important dream solution in before gently mixing the glass in his hand and handing it over to you.
You down the drink and rest your head.
[[Dream.->Medieval Fantasy Start]]You order a Space Odyssey, a personal favorite of Penelope's, you hear.
"Aliens and rocket ships coming up," says Reve, pulling out a strange blue ball filled with a thick, clear liquid. He shakes the ball in his hands before pulling out a long glass and cracking the ball on the rim of said glass like an egg, letting the "yolk" slide to the bottom. He throws in a few ice cubes, a bottle of seltzer, and finally the most important ingredient, a dash of dream solution from a thin pink vial. He holds his hand over the top top of the glass and shakes the concoction furiously before handing it over to you.
You sip away at the drink until you grow tired and rest your head.
[[Dream.->Sci-Fi Start.]]You stand before [[King Reveious]], the one true ruler of the proud lands of [[Denovia]], in the extravagant and illustrious halls of [[Barhalla]], the greatest castle ever constructed by man.
"Brave adventurer," the King says in his whispery and wise voice, "I have called upon you to complete a great and terrible task fit only for the finest of heroes and champions. The beloved princess [[Penelopous]] has been whisked away by the nightmarish dragon [[Draganox]], who's evil knows no bounds! You must go to Mount Doomigus, battle Dragnox in mortal combat, and save Penelopous. Do you accept this task?"
[["Of course, my liege."]]
[["I must decline."]]//All hail King Reveious//
//Mighty and strong//
//He serves all the peasants//
//All day and night long//

//He's ever so nice//
//And each of his drinks is at a reasonable price//

[[Back->Medieval Fantasy Start]] King Reveious' eyes fill with hope.
"Excellent, wonderful, magnificent! But I must ask, how do you plan on defeating this terrible dragon?"
[["With my dragon slaying blade, of course. I am a knight, after all."]][ERROR: UNMIXED POSSIBILITY]
King Reveious stands there blank faced for a moment before repeating the question.
"You must go to Mount Doomigus, battle Dragnox in mortal combat, and save Penelopous. Do you accept this task?"
[["Of course, my liege."]]
[["I must decline."]]You proudly hold your sword in the air for the king to see. Light gleams off the blade revealing the many runic carvings that glow a soft blue. This sword was crafted centuries ago by an ancient order of blacksmiths with the single intention of it one day slaying Draganox. That has yet to happen of course, but destiny thrusted this sword upon you during one of your many adventures, and you are positive that it is your duty to rid the world of Draganox once and for all.
"Go now," says the king, "go and save the princess!"
And off you go, to complete the greatest adventure of your life. But how will you go about this?
[[Find your faithful companion Orgux the Dwarf and call for his aid.]]
[[Meditate in the Hall of Heroes for advice from the ancients.]]Orgux! Of course! He would be perfect for the task ahead! He has fought along your side for years. Slaying monsters, saving villages, you and Orgux have done it all together. Yet for some odd reason Orgux did not come with you to accept this mission from the king. Perhaps he got cold feet.
No matter, Draganox cannot be defeated without his help.
After a day of travel you make it to the Mines of Drunkon, home of the hearty and long lasting dwarves. Though you are human you are welcomed into the tunnels for all of the good you have done for the dwarven people. You make your way to Orgux's home, a small shack in the ore tunnels, and find Orgux resting in a simple wooden chair outside his domain.
"If you think you'll be gettin' me to fight Draganox, you're mistaken."
[["But why, Orgux?]]
[["What are you, a coward?]]
[["Draganox must be destroyed!]] The Hall of Heroes, that is where you must go! The resting place of countless adventurers and warriors who gave their lives to defend Denovia from the villains who seek to destroy it. Once there, you can communicate with the spirits of these heroes for advice on how to tackle the fiendish Draganox.
After a day of travel you make it to the golden archway of the Hall of Heroes, the fields around it littered with the graves of countless knights and soldiers who died with honor. It is a beautiful place where it never rains and all is peaceful. But you must enter the hall itself, where the strongest heroes with the strongest souls rest.
The hallway seems to stretch on forever, the walls covered in portraits of so many heroes that you have no idea where to start. But there is no time to be picky, you must meditate and contact whichever hero your spirit calls out to the most.
You sit on the ground, legs crossed, and close your eyes. Three names go through your head. [[Lohocla The Soothing]], [[Maerd The Ancient]], [[Eurt The Brutal]]
Who do you contact?
[[The Soothing.]]
[[The Ancient.]]
[[The Brutal.]]Lohocla was a hero beloved by all, not only using her powers to banish demons and other ghouls, but comforting the weak and weary with her holy influence. Her blessing could give you the strength to face whatever Draganox could throw at you.
[[Back->Meditate in the Hall of Heroes for advice from the ancients.]] Many believed that Maerd would never die. While others eventually passed into the long sleep, Maerd kept on living, kept on aging, and kept on fighting. A warrior as old as Maerd must have knowledge on how to stop Draganox!
[[Back->Meditate in the Hall of Heroes for advice from the ancients.]] Eurt The Brutal was not a hero loved by many when he was alive, seen as too brash and blunt with his methods when handling both his enemies and those who he wished to protect. But when facing something as evil as Draganox, perhaps it is the straightforward approach that is needed most.
[[Back->Meditate in the Hall of Heroes for advice from the ancients.]] You focus on Lohocla, call out to Lohocla, beg for Lohocla to hear your cry.
You feel a strange force slide over you. You are sinking into it; cool but soothing. Lohocla's etherial form, shimmering an otherworldly green, comes to you. She strokes your cheek and it tingles to the touch.
//"Draganox's heart is full of darkness, but all it takes is a fragment of light to purify it. You have my blessing in your battle against the beast."//
As soon as she arrived, Lohocla fades away into smoke and you awaken from your mediation. You feel different, more hopeful, more capable. You are not positive as to what Lohocla's spirit actually did to you, but you feel as if whatever happens, you will be ready for the battle ahead.
[[Travel to Mount Doomigus.]]You focus on Maerd, call out to Maerd, beg for Maerd to hear your cry.
The smell of smoke and incense drafts into the room as your vision begins to blur. A soft, purple glow envelopes you as you feel a presence forming before you. It feels as if an old friend is here, someone you have known for ages. You see the thin and ragged body of Maerd before you.
//"Draganox's body cannot be broken. The mind, however, is a different story."//
And as soon as he arrived, Maerd's body begins to turn translucent before fading away. You may not know exactly what his message means, but you feel wiser, more enlightened. You are ready to confront Draganox.
[[Head to Mount Doomigus.]]You focus on Eurt, call out to Eurt, beg for Eurt to hear your cry.
[ERROR: UNMIXED POSSIBILITY]
You hear nothing[[.]]
[[Back ->Meditate in the Hall of Heroes for advice from the ancients.]] [ERROR: UNMIXED POSSIBILITY]
[[૯]]urt is not here.
[[Back ->Meditate in the Hall of Heroes for advice from the ancients.]] [ERROR: UNMIXED POSSIBILITY]
[[૯μЯҬ]]
[[Back->Meditate in the Hall of Heroes for advice from the ancients.]] You hear the faint voice of Eurt.
"The princess cannot be trusted."
You snap out of your meditation. What in the world? How ridiculous, Princess Penelopous is pure and just, perhaps one of the most trustworthy people in the entire kingdom. Clearly that was not Eurt, just some trickster spirit. You should meditate on someone else.
[[The Soothing.]]
[[The Ancient.]]
[[Go to Mount Doomigus.]]Smoke bellows from the top of the dark mountain as a blood red sky hangs overhead. This is Mount Doomigus, the most fiendish, vile, terrible place known to mankind. Its craggy edges and bleeding stones litter the lifeless ground, building up to a natural monument of sin and destruction. You stand at the base of the mountain, sword in hand, waiting for the battle ahead.
''BOOM!''
Like a bolt of lightning, he appears! The dread dragon himself! Draganox!
''//"So this is the miserable little human they've sent to stand against me? You will never save Princess Penelopous! I will consume you and then conquer the land!"//''

[[Attack->Attack Ancient!]]Slash! Crash! Cut!
You swing your blade back and forth, up and over, trying to cut through Draganox however possible. Yet try as you might, you cannot pierce through the black scales of the abomination! He flies into the air, spewing toxic smoke and deadly fire from its mouth on the ground below. You dodge its blasts, wait for it to come down, and attack the creature again. The cycle repeats for some time.
//''"Ha ha ha! Try as you might, you will never defeat me. I am too powerful for you to ever defeat! Accept your death!"''//
This battle cannot go on forever, something must be done!
Suddenly, the words of Lohocla the Soothing ring in your head.
//"Draganox's heart is full of darkness, but all it takes is a fragment of light to purify it. You have my blessing in your battle against the beast."//
You get an idea in your head...a crazy, insane idea that couldn't possibly work...or could it?

Suddenly, the words of Maerd the Ancient ring in your head.
//"Draganox's body cannot be broken. The mind, however, is a different story."//
You get an idea in your head...an idea that involves getting into Draganox's head!
[[Insult Draganox.]]
[[Continue attacking Draganox.]]You drop your blade, close your eyes, and fling yourself towards Draganox.
//''"You plan to wrestle me now? I will crush you like a bu-"''//
You grab hold of one of Draganox's giant legs and hug as tightly as possible. May Lohocla guide your squeeze!
//''"What are you doing? Are you trying to hug me?"''//
You hug tighter.
//''"How dare you! I am unhuggable!"''//
You refuse to let go.
//''"I...must admit, this feels nice, but it means nothing to me!''//
Still hugging away.
//''"Sure, my mother and father never hugged me but...but...''"//
You look up into Draganox's soulless eyes, which begin to bubble with tears.
//''"I...I...can't handle this much love!''//
Draganox's body crackles and fades away as a warm glow emites from his chest. A look of peace is on Draganox's face as he vanishes into the ether. The glow remains, however, and continues to grow!
The red sky turns back into a vibrant blue, grass forms out of the dead stone under your feet, and out of the light comes...Princess Penelopous, in all her radiant glory!
"Thank you, brave warrior. It was only through your bravery that I, Princess Penelopous have been freed. Now with Draganox gone, Denovia can exist in peace for countless generations to come. Thank you, hero."
And they all lived happily ever after.
[[The End.->Wake up.]]Slice! Dice! Stab!
You keep fighting, but Draganox just won't fall!
//''"Give up! Nothing can pierce my dark heart!"''//
[[Hug Draganox.]]
[[Just keep attacking.]]You...just keep hitting the dragon. Still, it does nothing.
//''"Bwahahaha! My DARK HEART is just so DARK AND EVIL and cannot accept ANY KINDNESS! So don't try to do ANYTHING NICE because it WON'T WORK!"''//
[[Hug Draganox.]]
[[Just...keep...attacking!]]So you just keep hitting the dragon over and over and over and over again until...somehow...you stab Draganox right in the heart!
//''"Aaaaaahhhh! How did you know my one true weakness? Persistance!"''//
Draganox's body crackles and burns away as liquid evil oozes from his open wound. Draganox falls to the ground with a powerful THUD, and soon after he is gone.
Suddenly, a glow of light where Draganox once stood! The red sky turns back into a vibrant blue, grass forms out of the dead stone under your feet, and out of the light comes...Princess Penelopous, in all her radiant glory!

And they all lived happily ever after.
[[The End.->Wake up.]]...
You lift your face up from the bar, your head fuzzy and your eyes cloudy. Reve looks down at you, like a father onto a child.
"Have a good dream?"
After a minute or two to bring yourself back to reality, you thank Reve, pay for your drink and get up to leave.
"See you next time, friend."

Draganox flies straight away back to his lair inside the mountain. However, in his haste, Draganox does not pay attention and slams face first into the mountainside!

You ask her why Eurt the Brutal said not to trust her.

You ask her why Draganox said not to trust her either.

Orgox let's out a laugh.
"You've convinced me! Let's kill that dragon!"
Victory! Orgox is by your side again! Draganox doesn't stand a chance!
[[Go to Mount Doomigus with Orgox.]] Orgox thinks it over...
"Determination? You can be determined to do just about anything, but that doesn't mean Draganox can't be more determined to eat us both in one gulp! I'm sorry, friend, but I cannot join you on this suicide mission."
[[Go to Mount Doomigus without Orgux.]]Slash! Crash! Cut!
You swing your blade back and forth, up and over, trying to cut through Draganox however possible. Yet try as you might, you cannot pierce through the black scales of the abomination! He flies into the air, spewing toxic smoke and deadly fire from his mouth on the ground below. You dodge the blasts, wait for him to come down, and attack the creature again. The cycle repeats for some time.
//''"Ha ha ha! Try as you might, you will never defeat me. I am too powerful for you to ever defeat! Accept your death!"''//
The odds are completely against you. There is no way that you can defeat Draganox alone...but wait, who is that in the distance, standing on the mountain side?
Why, can it possibly be!? It's Orgux! He is holding one of those new fangled muskets, and taking aim at the back of Draganox's head!
"You didn't think I would abandon you, right?"
''BANG! BOOM!''
The shot bursts into flame against the dragon's skull. Draganox yelps in pain and turns to face Orgux. This is your chance to save the princess...but can you abandon Orgux?
[[Save the princess.]]
[[Fight with Orgux.]]While Orgux distracts Draganox, you climb up the side of Mount Doomigus and find your way to the cave home of the dread dragon. The inside of the cave is unnaturally hot, like walking directly into an oven. Still, you persevere and travel through this dark, sweltering place.
Eventually, you see her! Princess Penelopous, chained to the cave wall! How did a someone as big as Draganox get the princess into these tiny cuffs? No matter, you smash the chains with your sword.
"Thank you, hero, but we must make haste and escape," says the princess, "Draganox could return at any minute."
You and the princess make your way out of the cave to see a shocking sight. Draganox is on the ground, his body burning away as liquid evil oozes from his open wounds. Draganox is defeated!
You rush over to the dragon's body just as Draganox completly fades away, but in his place is the beaten and broken body of Orgux. Oh no, your friend! You fall to your knees and hold Orgux in your arms. He can't die now, not like this!
Princess Penelopous smiles softly and places her hands on Orgux's body.
"Do not worry," says the princess, "the dwarf shall live."
Holy light emits from the princess' hands, and to your surprise Orgux's wounds begin to seal shut. His eyes slowly open. Orgux is alive!
"Hah...he wasn't so tough," says Orgux.
The red sky turns back into a vibrant blue, grass forms out of the dead stone under your feet, and you have a feeling that all will be well.
[[The End.->Wake up.]]No! You cannot abandon your friend, not after he came to your aid! You rush to slash at Draganox's legs before he can fly towards Orgux. While you slice, Orgux shoots, and Draganox is pulled between the two of you.
Many hours of brutal combat pass, with many close calls and quick escapes as Draganox becomes more wild and desperate to destroy you both. But the teamwork between you and Orgux is too strong for the dread dragon to break through, and soon enough Draganox is brought to his dragon knees!
//''"No! Curse you, heroes! You have slain me!"''//
Draganox's body crackles and burns away as liquid evil oozes from his open wounds.
"Thank you, brave warriors. It was only through your bravery that I, Princess Penelopous have been freed. Now with Draganox gone, Denovia can exist in peace for countless generations to come. Thank you, heroes."
And they all lived happily ever after.
[[The End.->Wake up.]]Slash! Crash! Cut!
You swing your blade back and forth, up and over, trying to cut through Draganox however possible. Orgux, with one of those new fangled rifles, takes pot shots at the creature. Yet try as you might, this monster just won't go down! He flies into the air, spewing toxic smoke and deadly fire from his mouth on the ground below. You and Orgux dodge his blasts, wait for him to come down, and attack the creature again. The cycle repeats for some time.
//''"Ha ha ha! Try as you might, you will never defeat me. I am too powerful for you two to ever defeat! Accept your deaths!"''//
It is becoming evidently clear that if you keep this up, both of you will die and the princess will never be saved. Someone must go find Princess Penelopous while the other distracts Draganox.
What's the plan?
[[You save the princess, Orgux fights Draganox.->Save the princess.]]
[[Orgux saves the princess, you fight Draganox.]]You call out to Draganox, demanding that he focuses his attacks on you. Draganox smirks with its nasty lizard teeth, accepting your challenge. While the beast shoots flames down upon you (which you just barely dodge) Orgux sneaks towards the side of Mount Doomigus and begins climbing, starting his search for the princess.
The fight seems to stretch on forever, every second being a new gauntlet of misery and woe as your body is burnt, cut, and torn in various places. But no matter what, you refuse to go down, and keep attacking the dragon with all your might.
//''"Just give up, human. You are practically a walking corpse at this point. Accept your fate. No one can kill Draganox."''//
Suddenly, you see it. Draganox's scales, through your countless hits, have begun to wither and shake in the breeze. All it would take is a few more continued slashes to exspose his flesh and destroy this beast.
Slice! Dice! Dash!
With all your might you cut upward, flaying a selection of scales from Draganox's body. With an exsposed opening, you stab the beast!
//''"No! How can this be?!"''//
Draganox's body crackles and burns away as liquid evil oozes from his open wounds. Draganox falls to the ground with a powerful THUD, and soon after he is gone. You fall to the ground, ready to accept death...
But death does not come! You awaken in the arms of Orgux, with the fair princess standing above you, her hands glowing with holy healing magic.
"You aren't gonna die that easy, are ya?"
Your body is weak, but you can tell as the blood red sky turns blue and the ground below you turns green with grass, that everything will be okay.
[[The End.->Wake up.]]The Earth looks so beautiful from all the way up in space station [[Dentok.]] The beautiful ball of life where all of humanity started, just floating there in the vast expanse of space. You could stare at it forever.

You make your way through the station, passing the countless engineers, scientists, and tourists going through the many halls of Dentok until you make it to Commander Penelopix's office. She is sitting at her cyber desk, tapping her foot impatiently for you.
"Took you long enough, recruit," she says with the utmost authority, "we've got a situation on our hands. Early probe readings confirm that life is indeed sustainable on this planet despite its generally sandy and barren lands. Flora has been spotted on the planet, though fauna is yet to be seen. Still, strange radio readings surrounding the planet suggest something bizarre is happening on the surface. The Space Militia has yet to send any scouts of their own. It is assumed they are waiting for independent explorers to deal with whatever potential dangers might be on the planet first.

The Star Cruiser slows down to slower than light speed, orbiting above the desert planet of Terriblus V. Unfortunately, it looks like getting to planet's surface is going to be a problem, as you are not alone.
Surrounding the planet is a massive armada of alien warships, armed to the teeth and aiming directly at you.
"Looks like we've got company," says Admiral Penelopix.
A transmission is sent to the ship, and Penelopix answers it. The face of a terrifying fishman appears on the video feed, and the Universal Translator device crackles on.

"The Reign Empire?" Admiral Penelopix asks herself, "all the way out here? This isn't good. But we cannot give up on finding Revejin, and we certainly can't surrendor to these monsters. I'll use an escape pod to get to the surface of Terriblus V while the you distract the Reign."
[[Fight the Reign while the admiral finds Revejin.]]There are many dangers to mankind in the galaxy, but perhaps there are no more terrifying than the Reign Empire. Made entirely of countless fish people (the Reign themselves) from parts unknown, this collection of villains seek nothing more than the absolute domination of the galaxy. They will drown the entire galaxy with their countless warships until all are ruled by their scaly fists.
[[Back->Off to adventure!]] You've been itching for a good dog fight. They might have the numbers, but you have the skill, and you think you can handle the odds.
"Don't scratch my ship," says the admiral.
With that, she switches control of the Star Cruiser over to you, pushes a few buttons to prepare her escape pod, and then fires herself out of the ship, sending herself speeding down to Terriblus V.
//"Ƴσυ ωιƖƖ ησт єѕcαρє"// says Moice-Char, //"Ɯє ѕнαƖƖ ɗєѕтяσу уσυ вσтн!"//
With that, the battle begins! You dodge through laser fire, blast down enemy ships, speed around the armada like a true sailor of the stars. Yet for every ship you shoot down, three more come in its place. Taking down the warships one by one is not going to work; you need to take down the mothership, and the rest of the aliens will scatter.
You wait for the mothership's docking gate to open up to release more enemy fighters, and when the time is right, ZOOM! You fly your way right inside, slipping right past the noses of the aliens.
Now you are inside the ship, but how are you going to take it down? Will you try to find the Reign super computer and learn how to destroy the ship, or go after the mysterious Moice-Char and take him down?
[[Find the computer.]]
[[Find Moice-Char.]]The mothership's super computer should have all the knowledge you need to defeat these fishy aliens. But getting to it will be no easy task.
You sneak through the corridors of the massive ship, blaster armed and ready as you just narrowly avoid being spotted by the patrolling soldiers. You know that at any moment, at any one wrong move, the entire army of Reign soldiers could surround you.
But soon enough, you find it. A massive computer the size of an [[Imperial Dreadship]], being watched by two Reign soldiers armed with space muskets.

And with that, Moice-Char falls to the ground, dead. He gave up his life to tell you about the horrible machine controlling these aliens. You must do right by him and deal with this machine.
[[Find the mind control device.]]The terrible rule of this machine must come to an end!
All it takes is a single flip of a switch for the machine to power down, and once it does, you can sense an immediate change. One by one, Reign soldiers march into the mind control room, dazed and confused. One of them speaks up to you.
//"Ɗιɗ уσυ...ѕανє υѕ?"//
You explain that the mind control device will no longer tell them what to think, and that they are free to do whatever they wish.

The aliens cheer in agreement. It looks like you've just started a revolution!
Just as you begin to wonder if Admiral Penelopix has found Commander Revejin yet...
ZOOWOWOWOWOWOOP!
Out of nowhere, Admiral Penelopix and Commander Revejin teleport into the scene!
"No time to explain how we got here, recruit," says Penelopix, "just know that we've got your...oh wow, these aliens seem...nicer. What happened here?"
"We can talk about it later," says Revejin, "let's just go home!"
While the freed Reign aliens prep their ships to return to their empire and free their people, you three get back into the Star Cruiser and leave the mothership.
The armada zooms off at light speed to return to their empire and free their people. You've done something good today. But more importantly, Commander Revejin is safe.
Mission Accomplished!
[[The End.->Wake up.]]All it takes is rewriting a little bit of code and a few brain scans here and there to set control of the entire armada over to you. You can feel the power of thousands of Reign minds, all yours to command! You could rule the entire galaxy if you wanted!
...wait...this isn't right. You can't let this power get to your head, you cannot become as evil as the Reign. You must destroy them, before it's too late!
You command the warships to fire upon themselves and the mothership.
''BAM!''
''BOOM!''
''BLAST!''
Explosions fill the atmosphere of Terriblus V as each of the ships comes crashing down. You can feel your psychic power weakening with each Reign soldier that is destroyed, and soon you will lose your control over the aliens. Still, this attack will surely be remembered by those who remain.
Just as you begin to wonder if Admiral Penelopix has found Commander Revejin yet...
ZOOWOWOWOWOWOOP!
Out of nowhere, Admiral Penelopix and Commander Revejin teleport into the scene!
"No time to explain how we got here, recruit," says Penelopix, "just know that we've got your...oh wow, the Reign are already half destroyed. Did you do this?"
"We can talk about it later," says Revejin, "let's just go home!"
The three of you make your way to the Star Cruiser just as you lose all of your mind control power, and zoom out of the mothership. The remaining warships go into light speed to escape your wrath. But most importantly, Commander Revejin is safe.
Mission Accomplished!
[[The End->Wake up.]] After some time searching, you find it. A large, mechanical brain, guarded by more Reign soldiers. Their eyes seem lifeless, as if the machine has made them complete robots!
Zap zap zap!
You take the guards down and make your way to the machine. Now it's time to turn it off for good!
...but what if you decided to take control of the device for yourself. That way you could turn the entire Reign Empire against itself!
[[Turn off the mind control.]]
[[Take over the machine.]]...wait, are you sure? What if this thing explodes right away? What if you can't escape from it in time? If you set this thing off, you might be killing yourself!
[[Activate self destruct protocal.->Activate 2]]
[[Leave the machine alone.]]...are you sure?
[[Activate self destruct protocal.->Activate 3]]
[[Leave the machine alone.]]The risk isn't worth it. You'll find some other way to defeat the Reign. You turn away from the machine...only to find a blaster pointed at your face. Many blasters, actually. While you were contemplating whether to blow the mothership up or not, reinforcements had stormed the room, and you didn't even notice!
How bizarre.
Commanding them all is the captain of the ship himself, Moice-Char!
//"Aн, тнєяє уσυ αяє, нυмαη.

Alarms blare throughout the entire mothership. Reign soldiers run left and right, making their way to as many of the escape pods as they can get to. Who would have thought you could send the Reign into such terror so easily?
But you must make it out of here before this place explodes!
You make your way back to the Star Cruiser, the panicking Reign soldiers not even attempting to stop you.
Just as you begin to wonder if Admiral Penelopix has found Commander Revejin yet...

[[The End->Wake up.]] You are taken to the chambers of Moice-Char as a prisoner of the Reign Empire. The room is decorated with the gaudiest artwork and sculptures you've ever seen. What a pompous alien.

[["Where is Revejin?"]]
[["What are you doing around Terriblus V?"]]
[["What are your plans?"]]
[["Why are you doing this?"]]You order a Spaghetti Western, a very acquired taste, but one that's respected in the dream drinking crowd.
"Cowpokes and gunslingers coming up," says Reve, pulling out a can of pasta sauce from out of a cupboard. He grabs a can opener and cranks the lid off before pouring a quarter of the can into a large bowl. From there he pours in various spirits and juices of dubious origins into the bowl. Finally, he takes out a thin pink vial from his shirt pocket and twists the cap off, pouring a dash of the ever important dream solution into the brew. He pushes the bowl towards you.
You slurp away at the drink until you grow tired and rest your head.
[[Dream.->Western Start.]]Your spurs jingle with each step as you walk through the dusty ground up to the train station. This big iron horse can cross the whole country, they say, and you can't help but be a little impressed by that. But you're not here to take in the sights, you're here for business.
[[Sheriff Revels]] waits for you on the platform alongside [[Deputy Penelopie]], checking his pocket watch impatiently.
"There you are, [[drifter]]," says the deputy, "thank goodness you made it. Train's almost about to leave."
The sheriff speaks up next. "As you know, [[Mayor Cobweb]] has a very important meeting he has to get to with the governor that could change the very fate of our little town of [[Denver.]] Unfortunately, we've got a tip that [[Bandito Slim]] is planning on kidnapping the mayor and holding him for ransom, and we can't have that. Will you help us guard this here train and make sure that the mayor gets to where he needs to be safely?"
[["Of course, partner."]]
[["No can do, partner."]]"Sheriff Revels might be old, but he still packs a punch, darn tootin'. He'll make sure that justice is served no matter what, even if he has to hire some help from time to time. Best sheriff this town's ever had."
-Dinkus the Kid.
[[Back.->Western Start.]]"I don't give two hoots that my deputy is a lady, Penelopie is the finest companion an old coot like me can ask for. She can handle a gun, she knows how to solve a mystery, and dang it, she's good at paperwork too. She's a fine singer too, but that ain't important. Lady or not, she's my deputy, and you gotta deal with it."
-Sheriff Revels
[[Back.->Western Start.]]That's right, you're a drifter. You travel from town to town, lending a helping hand when you can (if the pay is good). It's a simple life and a dangerous one, but it is your life, and you love living it.
[[Back.->Western Start.]]//VOTE COBWEB FOR MAYOR!//
//HE'LL BE THE FINEST MAYOR IN THE WEST!//
-a flyer you found on the way to the train station.
[[Back.->Western Start.]]//The town of Denver is a beacon of life in the untamed wilds. It isn't the fanciest town, or the biggest, but you won't be able to find a place with more charm anywhere else. Come to Denver and stay awhile.//
-An advertisement in the big city newspaper.
[[Back->Western Start.]] ''I AM BANDITO SLIM''
''I'M THE ROUGHEST, TOUGHEST BANDIT YOU'LL EVER SEE''
''I'M COMING FOR YOUR MAYOR AND HIS RICHES''
''SO DO ME A FAVOR AND HAND HIM OVER TO ME''
-A mysterious note found on the town notice board.
[[Back.->Western Start.]]Sheriff Revels pats you on the back.
"I knew I could count on you, drifter. Now let's board this train, we've gotta get you settled in."
The sheriff and Deputy Penelopie lead you into the big machine and down its many railroad cars. Most of it is very simple, just lines and lines of wooden seats for passengers to sit on, almost looking like the pews of a church. But soon enough you are taken into a private car with individual rooms made for passengers. Fancy!
The sheriff knocks on one of the doors, which slides open to reveal Mayor Cobweb on the other side, fidgeting like a rabbit.
"Mayor," says Sheriff Revels, "this here drifter will be acting as a guard alongside my deputy to ensure your safety on this trip."
"Yeah sure," Mayor Cobweb replies, "just keep your eyes peeled. That Bandito Slim could be anywhere."
And with that, the mayor closes the door to his room to hide away.
"Don't worry, mayor," says Deputy Penelopie through the door, "we won't let anyone or anything hurt a hair on your head."
Suddenly...
''CHOO CHOO!''
The train is moving!
"I'm going to go from car to car looking for anything suspicious," says Sheriff Revels, "you and Penelopie stay guard."
And with that, your body guarding duty begins.
[[Guard that mayor.]][ERROR: UNMIXED POSSIBILITY]
The sheriff and the deputy stand there looking at you, without saying a word. They then look at each other, unsure of how to respond.
The sheriff then turns back to you and repeats his question.
"Will you help us guard this here train and make sure that the mayor gets to where he needs to be safely?"
[["Of course, partner."]]
[["No can do, partner."]]Many hours pass as you and the deputy protect the mayor's room. Gotta say, it's a real bore. Penelopie tries to keep you entertained with a story here or a song there, but your trigger finger is itching and you're craving some action. Could this trip really go down without a hitch?
''BANG BANG!''
Maybe not. You hear distant laughing and gunfire down by the caboose. Passangers in that direction scream in terror!
"Something's going down," says Penelopie, "it might be Bandito Slim! We gotta check it out!"
You and the deputy hop into action and rush towards the back of the train. Out of the windows, you see it; an entire gang of bandits and crooks riding on horseback alongside the train and firing their guns in the air!
"Train robbers," Penelopie says with venom on your tongue, "we gotta stop them!"
But before you can pull out your gun and get to shooting, you hear another scream back the way you came. It's the voice of Mayor Cobweb! You turn around to see that the Mayor is being held at gun point by Bandito Slim himself! That slimy no good snake in the grass, those bandits were just a distraction, and now Bandito Slim's trying to make off with the mayor!
Luckily, you see Sheriff Revels right on his tail taking up chase. This puts you in a pickle though. Do you try to help the sheriff save the mayor, or help the deputy protect the train and its passangers?
[[Help the Sheriff.]]
[[Help the Deputy.]]You were hired to protect the mayor, and that means helping the sheriff stop Bandito Slim as soon as possible.
"Leave the bandits to me," says Penelopie, "just save the mayor!"
You run through the train carts, trying your hardest to catch up to Bandito Slim, the kidnapped mayor, and Sheriff Revels. Eventually, you make your way to the sheriff as he hides behind cover of one of the seats. He sighs in relief upon seeing you.
"Thank goodness you're here, drifter, we need to-"
''BANG!''
A bullet grazes the sheriff's side and he falls on his back! Bandito Slim cackles in delight.
"You'll never stop me, drifter!"
Revels groans in pain. "Ugh...it's gonna take me awhile to get back up. Go on without me, stop Bandito Slim."
Can you really abandon Revels like this? He needs help! But if you help him, Bandito Slim might escape!
[[Try to help the sheriff.]]
[[Go after Bandito Slim.]]You can't just leave Penelopie alone to protect all these innocent people. You have to stand by her side and fight these rustlers head on!
''BANG BANG!''
You and Penelopie shoot down two bandits who just jumped off of their horses and onto the car. But there are many more on their way, and you need to make a call on how to take them on.
Will you stay put in the train car and wait for them to come to you? Or will you hop on the horses running alongside the train and take the fight outside?
[[Stay in the train car.]]
[[Get on the horses.]]It's best to play it safe and stay in the train. Deputy Penelopie shoots through the windows while you watch the door. One wrong move and you could be riddled full of holes!
''BANG!''
''BANG!''
''BANG!''
One by one, bandits try to get inside, and every time your quick draw beats them to the punch.
"These robbers are easy," says Penelopie, "they're just dropping like flies!"
Bandito Slim only needed them to serve as a distraction for him to complete his dirty deeds, so perhaps he went cheap when hiring these two-bit goons. Whatever the case may be, you and Penelopie eventually take down all the bandits. Some of them in the train car are still alive, but from the bullets you put in them, they won't be causing anybody trouble anytime soon.
[[Get back to the sheriff and save the mayor.]]
[[Interrogate the bandits.]]You can't have bandits shooting up the train car with all these good people inside. You gotta keep the fighting outside. You explain the plan to Penelopie.
"That's the most insane idea I've ever heard, drifter. Jumping out of a moving train, hoping on horses, and then getting into a gun match with a group of bandits. You must have a death wish...let's do this."
On the count of three, you and Penelopie will jump onto the nearby horses.
One.
Two.
THREE!
HOP! Penelopie jumps to the left side of the train, you jump off the right. And in one swift motion, you each get onto the nearby horses. How cinematic!
BANG BANG BANG!
Bandits are all around you, but you and Penelopie fend them off with ease! Bandito Slim only needed them to serve as a distraction for him to complete his dirty deeds, so perhaps he went cheap when hiring these two-bit goons. Whatever the case may be, you and Penelopie eventually take down all the bandits (avoiding shooting the horses as you did so, it's always good to be kind to animals). But the train is going too fast! You need to pick up the pace!
[[Chase that train!]]You and Penelopie run through the train cars trying your hardest to catch up to Bandito Slim, the kidnapped mayor, and Sheriff Revels. You and the deputy are so focused on saving they day that you run right into the sheriff, who's in a dead stop!
"Oof! Watch where you're going!"
You and Penelopie regain your balance and take in the scene. Mayor Cobweb has a gun pointed to his head, Bandito Slim is smiling like the devil himself, and the sheriff doesn't know what to do.
"Better watch what you do next," says Bandito Slim, "or your precious little mayor will be getting his brains relocated. I'm getting off of this train, and you'll be getting a telegram with my demands later."
Mayor Cobweb babbles in fear. "Save me! I'm too politically important to die!"
[[Shoot at Bandito Slim.]]
[["There's no way you're getting out of this one alive."]]
[["You're outnumbered now, you might as well give up."]]

[["We can talk this out."]]Sheriff Revels might not be able to get a clean shot, but you know you can. While Bandito Slim is trying to make his demands, you ever so carefully lower your aim not on Bandito Slim, but on his gun.
''BANG!''
You shoot the gun out of Bandito Slim's hand! It goes flying out the window, leaving the criminal unarmed. The mayor runs from Bandito Slim's grasp and hides behind you.
This is your chance! You, the sheriff, and the deputy aim your guns right on Bandito Slim, who realizes soon enough that he is in a very poor position.
"Ah dang it. I give up, take me in."

The train pulls into the big city a few hours later, and you, the mayor, Revels, and Penelopie step out of it with Bandito Slim in cuffs. [[Back->Go to the bar.]] Beep! Beep! Beep!
The order taker springs to life, making a strange, continuous beeping noise. Reve looks at the machine in shock. Have you done it? Have you fixed the order taker?!
Mechanical arms lower from above and begin to grab every bottle off of the shelves. In an act that seems equal parts chaotic and ordered, these mechanical arms mix small parts of each of these liquids together into a single tiny glass, creating a gray puddle of who knows what for you to drink.
"Um...maybe you shouldn't drink that, friend. You might not like what you-"
One of the arms snatches the vial of dream solution from Reve's pocket, and pours it into the glass.
You sip away at the drink until you grow tired and rest your head.
[[Dream.->Reality.]]It's raining, again. Heavy as always. But this time it feels different. The rain is heavier than it has ever been before, and the streets are flooded. You feel like if you waited around long enough, the water would rise and you would drown. You need someplace warm and dry to go. In the distance, you see The Dream Den's neon sign.
[[Go to the Dream Den.]]You do not walk to the Dream Den, you appear at the Dream Den, teleporting there like a spirit. Then you are inside the Dream Den...except you are not.
This is not the Dream Den. It is pitch black here. It is silent.
Then, there is light. A spotlight, to be specific. It shines down on the bar, and sitting at the bar resting their head is you. Things are coming out of your head. They are pictures. Pictures of knights and dragons, cowpokes and gunslingers, aliens and rocket ships. Then there are pictures of you as a child. Pictures of your family. Pictures of your loved ones. All coming out of your head and vanishing into the darkness.
A man appears behind the bar. He wears a white lab coat. You do not recognize this man.
"Please, [[have a seat."]]You sit down on the stool next to yourself and look at the man in the lab coat.
"Hello there, drinker. I guess you're probably confused about what's going on here. Considering the effort you gave to get here, coming to the bar every week, finding the numbers and all that jazz, I feel like you deserve a little explanation."
The man taps his fingers on the bar.
"My name is Doctor Dinkus. I am an employee of the city and a lead researcher in fantasy bar mixology."
You can hear the rain outside. It gets heavier.
"As you can probably tell, the rains just keep coming. Too much, in fact. Blame it on pollution, blame it on atmosphere changes, it doesn't matter, we are all at risk because of it. Soon the city will be flooded, despite our best efforts, and countless lives will be put in danger. It's a problem not just in this city, but in places all around the globe."
Doctor Dinkus rubs the sleeping head of the clone next to you.
"Now we're trying everything we can to keep that day from coming, but we needed a back up plan in case things didn't work out. That's where the fantasy bars come in, like The Dream Den. Sad men and women depressed by the rains come in, have a drink, go on amazing adventures, and come back every week to do it again. Every time they drink some more of their memories are extracted and collected by the city. Soon enough we'll have the full mental code of every drinking adult. Consider it like a computer back up for human life."
What? Collecting memories in case everyone drowns to death? That's just madness!
"The Dream Den is my own personal pub in the operation, and Reve and Penelope are my humble assistants. They serve drinks, I get minds, and people get to live. It's a win win. However, mixology isn't a perfect science. Sometimes you fail to mix in a possibility. In case that happens, you're advised to go to the source of it all. Which is where you are now."
Doctor Dinkus hands you a drink.
"So I offer you a choice. I can't let you leave here knowing the truth, so I offer you this drink. One sip, and your body will become comatose. I will take all your thoughts and save them for a new body, in case the world floods over. Or, if you'd like, you can leave The Dream Den. Your memories will be wiped and replaced, and you won't be allowed in any fantasy bar this side of the border. But you won't need to have your memories taken anymore, if that's what you desire."
You look down at the drink.
[[Take a sip.]]
[[Leave the bar.]]Take one drink and ensure you survive a flood of biblical proportions? Sounds like a good idea to you.
You pick up the glass. Doctor Dinkus has his own too, though it's just water.
"Cheers."
You clink your glasses and drink.

An ambulance arrives at the Dream Den to pick up your body. Patrons look on in shock as medics check your body, use a neuro-scanner on your head, and proclaim to themselves that you are officially braindead, as if all activity in your mind had just stopped working entirely. Reve and Peneolpe are disheartened. They liked you a lot. Though silently, they know that they will see you again someday.
Your body is put in the back of the ambulance and driven away through the rainy street.
"God, when will this storm end?" asks the driver.
"I don't know," says one of the medics, "it's been going on forever. Makes me want to drink."
"Just do it in moderation," says the driver, "you don't want to end up like our friend in the back."
[[The End.->Title Page]]This isn't right. Your brain isn't just some file cabinet people can mess around with whenever they please. If ensuring you don't wind up in someone's computer somewhere means you need to forget about The Dream Den, then you'll forget.
You get up and say goodbye to Doctor Dinkus.
"I understand. Goodbye, drinker. If the world doesn't flood, I wish you a long life. If it does, I wish you all the best."
You exit The Dream Den.
~~~
It's raining, again. Heavy as always. The radio says that skies should clear up any day now, but they always say that.
The flickering neon sign of The Dream Den glows softly in the dark shower of rain drops, like a lighthouse in the storm. Shame you're not allowed inside the building, or any fantasy bar for that matter. Something about you getting into a fight with the bartender and winding up on a blacklist somewhere, you don't remember the details.
Still, it's probably for the best. You've seen a lot of friends fall for the bottle and never wake up. Just one more dream after another. Even though it's always raining, it's nice being awake to see it. Who knows, the sun might shine sometime.
[[The End.->Title Page]]You and the deputy ride those horses like there's no tommorrow, trying to catch up with the train before it, and Bandito Slim, get away. Eventually, through sheer determination, the two of you catch up to the train, reaching all the way to the car right before the head of the iron horse. Looking through the windows you see him, Bandito Slim! But he is holding Mayor Cobweb at gunpoint, and Sheriff Revels can't get a clean shot at the guy. But maybe you can!
You aim your gun, arms shaking as you do so. Shooting some goons on horseback was one thing, but trying to keep up with the train //and// get a clean shot? Now that is going to be difficult.
"I can take the shot," says Penelopie. She aims her gun, and though she seems confident, you cannot tell if her arms are steady enough. What if one of you misses? What if you hit the mayor!?
Who should take the shot?
[[You will take the shot.]]
[[Deputy Penelopie should take the shot.]]Here goes nothing...
''BANG!''
The bullet goes soaring! Glass shatters! Your shot slams Bandito Slim right in the side of his head! The villain falls to the ground, releasing the now blood covered mayor.
Deputy Penelopie cheers. "Great shot, drifter!"
Sheriff Revels looks out the window, making eye contact with you. He gives you a firm head nod and a smile.
The train pulls into the big city a few hours later, and you, the mayor, Revels, and Penelopie step out of it with the body of Bandito Slim. The mayor, though shaken, thanks you for your service and makes his way to the governor's office, and Penelopie takes Bandito Slim's body to morgue. Before you depart for more adventures on the dusty road, Revels pulls you aside for some parting words.
"Thank you for your help, drifter. None of this would have been possible without you."
[[The End.->Wake up.]]You give Deputy Penelopie the go ahead. She closes one eyes, sticks out her tongue, and prepares the shot.
''BANG!''
The bullet goes soaring! Glass shatters! Her shot slams Bandito Slim right in the side of his head! The villain falls to the ground, releasing the now blood covered mayor.
You praise Penelopie's skills. That was an excellent shot!
Sheriff Revels looks out the window, making eye contact with Penelopie. He gives her a firm head nod and a smile.
The train pulls into the big city a few hours later, and you, the mayor, Revels, and Penelopie step out of it with the body of Bandito Slim. The mayor, though shaken, thanks you for your service and makes his way to the governor's office, and you are given Bandito Slim's body to take to the morgue. Before you depart, you turn back to see the sherif and deputy bonding over the whole adventure. There's no doubt that the town of Denver will remember those two as heroes. But you're not one to settle into one place like those two are. You need to keep moving, for more adventures on the dusty trail.
[[The End.->Wake up.]]You aren't going to let Revels bleed out on the ground. You take a knee and pull out your handy dandy medical kit. You're no expert, but you can patch up a wound and ease the pain a bit.
After a few minutes of amateur medical work you think you've patched up Revels well enough so that he will be okay. He stumbles to his feet, you helping him get stable.
"Thank you...but we need to save the mayor...we still might have time."
As he speaks, Deputy Penelopie, covered in blood, makes her way to you two.
"Those bandits put up a fight, but I think everything should be okay...oh no, is the sheriff okay?!"
"There's no time to worry about me," says Revels, "we need to move!"
Running as fast as you can, you make it to the last train car before the train's engine. The door is open, wind is blowing, and Bandito Slim is about to jump off the train and onto a horse with the mayor as his captive.
"So long, suckers!"
Bandito Slim jumps, getting onto his horse with the mayor too terrified to try to escape! You have to do something. Maybe if you're fast enough you could shoot Bandito Slim down before he can ride off. But if you miss the shot you might wind up hitting the mayor! Maybe there is a less lethal way to handle this...what if you jumped after him?
[[Take the shot.]]
[[Take the jump.]]You keep moving. You won't let Bandito Slim get away. Yet just as you are getting close to the man, he stops in his tracks and turns towards you, pointing his gun to Mayor Cobweb's head. Bandito Slim smiles like the devil himself.
"Better watch what you do next," says Bandito Slim, "or your precious little mayor will be getting his brains relocated. I'm getting off of this train, and you'll be getting a telegram with my demands later."
Mayor Cobweb babbles in fear. "Save me! I'm too politically important to die!"
You and Bandito Slim are in deadlock for what feels like forever. Soon enough, a blood covered Penelopie comes over with the injured sheriff over her shoulder.
"Those bandits put up a fight, but I think everything should be okay...oh no, Bandito's making demands, isn't he?"
[[Shoot at Bandito Slim.]]
[["There's no way you're getting out of this one alive."]]
[["You're outnumbered now, you might as well give up."]]
[["We can talk this out."]]Here goes nothing...
''BANG!''
The bullet goes soaring and slams Bandito Slim right in the side of his head! The villain falls off of his steed, the horse goes wild, and the now blood covered mayor rolls off that horse onto the dirt.
Deputy Penelopie and Sheriff Revels are awestruck. You saved the mayor just in the nick of time.
[[The End.->Wake up.]]Here goes nothing...
You leap from the train! Soaring in the air it's as if everything slows down around you. You stretch out your arms as you fall towards Bandito Slim.
**Slam!**
You knock into the criminal and both of you roll over the horse and onto the ground. The horse goes wild, flinging the mayor off of its back. In the confusion, Bandito Slim dropped his gun, leaving him completely defenseless. You stand over him and point your weapon to his face.
"Ah dang it. I give up, take me in."
