In the not so distant future, humans have reached a roadblock in space travel. Exploration crafts begin to lose contact with Earth not long after passing Jupiter. None of the crews or ships have been found. You along with the crew of the Hyperion I have been sent by Space Force to attempt to land on Saturn's moon of Titan when it is closest to Earth in the hopes of maintaining contact with Earth while investigating the missing ships.
[[Good luck Captain->Aproaching Titan]]
As the Hyperion I is passing by Jupiter the radar picks up a faint signal not far off course. It could be the remnants of another ship.
If that signal is the Prometheus IV or V, they would have had enough rations for there to be survivors on the ship. However, it could be the Hermes II, whose crew would be long dead by now. Additionally, the primary objective is to land on Titan and from there investigate the missing ships.
[[Investigate the signal->Changing Course]]
[[Try to reach out to the ship and not change course->Reach Out]]
[[Ignore the signal and continue the mission->Continue Mission]]The Hyperion I signals back to earth that they will be adjusting their course to investigate the signal. They follow the signal until they can see the source.
The ship they see before them is a spacecraft shot to hell. No accident could have caused the damage done to the ship. There may not be any survivors.
[[Return to Mission Trajectory->Continue Mission]]
[[Look for Survivors->Survivors]]The Hyperion I continues on course toward Saturn's moon and sends out a message to any spacecraft in the area, looking for a response. They don't get a response, but do find the source of the signal a message being broadcast from another ship nearby the message says:
Mission C---trol, thi --- the Promethus ---, we have discovered what appears to be a --- We are going to divert --- investigate --- God help us.
.
.
.
Along with the signal they have located another moon nearby that the ship computer says has livable conditions for people. Maybe that's where the incoming message is being broadcast from.
[[Continue to Search for the Signal->Signal Search]]
[[Return to a Course for Titan->Continue Mission]]
[[Investigate the Habitable Moon->Investigate Planet]]As the ship's communication personel continue to attempt to reach out to the source of the signal, a conversation occurs in the Captain's quarters. Jesse, one of the brave astronauts on this trip, is worried that by changing course the crew may be putting themselves in danger of never returning home, meaning he'll never see his wife and son again.
You reassure him that everything will be alright and that the crew will make it home.
The communications crew was able to track the signal down to the unknown nearby moon.
[[Search the Moon for Survivors->Investigate Planet]]
[[Return to Mission Trajectory->Continue Mission]] The ship lands on the unknown moon. You along with Avery, Martin, and the Robot GWAR suit up and depart through the airlock to the surface of the mysterious moon.
They travel thorugh the unkown planet's surface reaching a crashed ship.
Their surface robot, GWAR, informs them that the ship is the Prometheus IV. Space Force lost contact with it 4 years 259 days ago.
You radio back to the Hyperion I informing them that they will investigate further. But Avery protests saying that they should first return to the Hyperion I and retrieve weapons in case of any life they encounter that might not be human. Martin reminds him that they still have no evidence of life outside of Earth.
[[Return for Weapons]]
[[Investigate Crash]] You send the three of them along with the robot on foot through the airlock out onto Titan's surface. They'll be continuely sending updates as nessecary.
The exploration crew believes that they found the source of the signal. It appears to the be the Promethus IV. The ship is completely intact. They must have landed on the planet.
They are also getting a reading from something a bit farther away, it looks like there may be a body of water. If the crew wanted to survive long they must have found it as well. It might be worth checking out.
[[Tell Them to Investigate the Water->Investigate Water]]
[[Tell Them to Look for Survivors on the Ship->Investigate Ship]]The Hyperion I barrels on towards the moon of Titan. They send a message back to mission control about the signal they saw, but it doesn't get through. They have reached the deadzone. Asteroids are approching on the horizon.
Alarms blare throughout the ship. Most of the asteroids are small but one was able to damage one of the adjustment thrusters making it impossible to land. You will have to send to engineers out to fix it. Who will you send?
[[Send Avery and John->Avery]]
[[Send Martin and John->Martin]]
Avery and John prep for a space walk to fix the thrusters outside the ship. John and Avery attatched to cables step out into open space.
The use their booster packs to launch themselves toward the broken thruster. When they get close their feet stick to the surface of the ship.
As John and Avery work, a bigger round of asteroids appears on the radar. In order to avoid them John and Avery need to hurry. They finish up and begin to thrust back to the airlock but they're too late.
John gets hit by an asteroid in the chest and it sends him flying backwards. Avery begins to thrust towards John when he is yanked back toward the ship with his cord pulling him back into the ship. He is slung backwards against the airlock door inside the ship.
The end of John's cord comes back but he isn't attatched. They shut the air lock and avoid the rest of the asteroids.
[[Continue->John Death]]Martin and John prep for a space walk to fix the thrusters outside the ship. John and Martin attatched to cables step out into open space.

[[Continue->John Death]]As they get closer to the ship things begin to look dim. Luckily the ship's docking bay is still operational. The Hyperion I docks with the unknown ship. The Captain along with Jesse, Martin and John suit up in case of lack of pressurization in the destroyed ship.
You step into the space bridge and make your way towards the ship. As you explore the ship things begin to look very familiar. The halls and rooms look very similar to your own ship.
Despite the look of the ship from the outside, tests conclude that the ship is pressurized and its oxygen farm is still operational. There really might be survivors on board.
[[Search the Barracks]]
[[Search the Command Center]]In the wake of John's death, the crew attempts to focus on reaching Titan. They are successful and the Hyperion I is able to land on the surface of Titan without any hiccups.
You volunteer yourself, Martin and Avery along with GWAR, a surface exploring android, to explore the surface. Everyone else will stay and try to establish communication with anything that's out there and mission control.
Jesse volunteers to take your place. He argues that as the Captain, you should stay and lead from the ship in case anything happens on the surface.
[[Stay Behind with the Crew->Left Behind]]
[[Explore the Planet with the Crew->Explore Titan]]The crew gets closer to the body of water on the moon's surface. The water is shiny, more reflective than water normally should be, almost like looking directly into a mirror.
Avery looks into the water at his reflection. His reflection then reaches out of the water and grabs him. Martin and Jesse try to help him but they are pulled underneath the water with them.
They emerge from the water moments later, their eyes look dead. They walk back to the ship and are questioned by you and the rest. They say they can't remember what happened before and going into the water they only remember coming out.
They tell you that they found the crew of the Prometheus IV dead by the water. They don't know what killed them, but suggest we should get out before we face the same fate.
Trusting your team you have the crew set a course for home leaving a rover behind to see what infomration it can gather. The rover, being controled by Martin, doesn't make it far before the signal is lost.
The EndAs the crew makes their way to the ship, the air lock door of the ship opens. A spacesuit walks out of the doorway. They make their way up to the spacesuit. Inside is a man. Captain Richard Haines of the Prometheus IV. He claims to be the only survivor.
The crew asks what happened to the others. He says they died from disease and that Titan isn't what we hoped it would be. The crew radioed to you that they'll be walking him back to the ship.
Minutes later there's a screech heard through the radio. Captain Haines is rushing towards the ship covered in blood, there's no one else with him. When he arrives he explains they were attacked by one of the creatures of Titan and that we should hurry out.
The Hyperion I took off on a trip for Earth in a hurry. You ask Captain Haines how he'd managed to avoid the creatures all these years. He gives him a shrug and simply replies "Luck."
The EndYou begin to search the ship looking for any signs of life, but find only the opposite and everyone's worst fear. Blood is everywhere. Something has brutally murdered the crew.
That's when you hear a roar. Seconds later is when you see it. An eight foot tall monster, with more teeth than a shark and scales like a lizard.
Everyone begins to run from the monster, but you pause for just a second.
[[Stay and Distract the Monster->End for Cap]]
[[Run with the Crew Back to the Ship->A Mutiny]]You and some others depart on foot through the airlock out onto Titan's surface. As you explore you find what the others believe to be the source of the signal. It appears to the be the remains of the Promethus IV. The ship is completely intact. They must have landed on the planet.
You are also getting a reading from something a bit farther away, it looks like there may be a body of water. If the crew wanted to survive long they must have found it as well. It might be worth checking out.
[[Find the Water->Investigate Water Cap]]
[[Check out the Ship->Investigate Ship Cap]]You radio to your crew: "Don't stop running, return home, and tell them not to come back to this God-forsaken moon." Then you lunge towards the monster...
[[Epilogue]]You and the crew follow the readings until you reach a small pool of water. It's extremely still. Around it are a bunch of plants. It would be a good idea to take a sample from the water and the plants to take back to the ship for analysis.
[[Take Sample]]
[[Enter the Water]]You return to the ship taking with anything you can use a a weapon, wrenches and the like. You return to the crash site looking for any signs of life, but find only the opposite and everyone's worst fear. Blood is everywhere. Something has brutally murdered the crew.
That's when you hear a roar. Seconds later is when you see it. An eight foot tall monster, with more teeth than a shark and scales like a lizard.
Everyone begins to run from the monster but you pause for just a second.
[[Stay and Fight the Monster->A Good Fight]]
[[Run with the Crew Back to the Ship->A Mutiny]]
As you make your way to the ship, the air lock door of the ship opens. A spacesuit walks out of the doorway. You make your way up to the spacesuit. Inside is a man. Captain Richard Haines of the Prometheus IV. The rest of the crew is alive as well.
They had sustained damage from asteroids the same as the Hyperion I, but they were unable to fix them in the air. They had the functionality to land and have been working on the ship since. They still haven't fixed the main engine that was damaged and required for takeoff.
Your crew and the crew of the Hyperion I take what data you can from the Prometheus IV and board the Hyperion I. You set a return course for Earth and make it back. A few problems in the landing process end in an emergency landing in the Indian Ocean but both crews are fine along with all their data.
Both crews are commended for their bravery and their missions gave much useful information for many future explorations. You return to space a few years later and find water on Titan, a monumental discovery. You will forever be one of the key figures of space exploration for centuries to come.
The End. As you run from the monster, Avery and Martin are snagged by the monster, but you make it back into the ship alive. You tell the crew what happened and insist you must go search for them. With the whole crew's help that monster can be taken out and Avery and Martin saved.
Jesse stops you. He insists that this would have never happened if they hadn't diverted course from Titan. Desparate to return home, Jesse rallies the crew against you and they decide to return on a course for home.
Locking you in the captain's quarters, he leads the rest of the crew on a mission for home. Upon returning to Earth, you are taken to court and held responsible for the lives lost on the journey due to diverting from the mission plan.
The unknown moon was never found again, but you never stopped looking. Until the day of your death that mysterious moon haunted you as you looked up every night and stared at your own.
The End.You and the crew begin to take samples of the water and the plants, when something comes from the bushes. A creature dressed in white. It reaches out its hands and without touching Martin, crushes his head. It looks at you and Avery and with its eyes it says "Leave."
You and Avery leave GWAR and rush back to the ship. The crew starts up the engines as fast as possible and begins takeoff procedure, but they aren't fast enough. More creatures have gathered outside and the ships power turns off.
The creatures gather outside the airlock entrances and open the door. They enter the ship. You look at them as they reach out as they did before with Martin.
The EndYou enter the water, becoming completely submerged. You look around. The water is a lot deeper than you anticipated. There seems to be no life in the water, plant or otherwise. You look up at the light coming into the water. You swim up towards the light breaking the surface of the water.
[[Continue->Opening Scroll]] You and the team enter the barracks. They look slept in, recently. They must know someone has entered the ship. Maybe not. The ship's computer system might not be opperational. They're probably working to fix the ship.
[[Check Engine Access->New Beginining]]
[[Search the Command Center->Search the Command Center]]
You and the team enter the Command Center. The crew! Everyone appears to be alive and well. Captain Haines of the Promethus IV introduces himself. They had been en route to Saturn when they were attacked by another unidentified ship. They then recieved a message from an extraterrestrial being on another ship. They couldn't understand any of it.
They have been stuck floating in space ever since.
Alarms!
The aliens have returned. They must have picked up the the Hyperion I. Neither ship is equipped for a space battle.
[[Attempt to Escape in the Hyperion I->Escape]]
[[Attempt to Contact the Aliens->Contact]]"Wait!" You yell back to them, but they don't stop. You look the monster dead in the eyes. It can feel the confidence exuding from your stance. It stops. The monster looks you up and down, then turns and begins to walk away.
[[Attack While You Have the Chance->End for Cap]]
[[Follow the Monster]]The rest of the crew has returned to the ship, but you follow the monster. It begins to speak to you, but you don't hear a thing. However, in your mind you understand what it's trying to tell you. Years ago the ship crashed on their planet, there weren't any survivors. Since then they've used our technology to try to signal other ships to send a warning. It touches your temple and images rush to your mind.
You return to the ship to meet with the crew. The crew was getting ready to leave. They are surprised to see you're alive and ask about what happened. You tell them that Earth isn't ready to explore these areas of outer space yet and that they need to return home and not tell anyone about this moon they found.
They protest that this is a great scientific discovery and that they must send back better equipped crews. You sigh. You know. You exit the ship and bow your head. The monster enters and screams are heard.
The monster exits. You hear it in your mind again. Thank you.
The End. The entire crew returned to Earth reporting what they had experienced. Although the Captain diverted from the mission, he was awarded for the bravery he showed in saving his crew. They searched for years for the mysterious moon, but never found it. Nobody knows what took the life of the captain and no one probably ever will. Space Force still hopes to one day catch a signal from GWAR, the surface robot left behind, but it seems those who get lost in space never return.
The End.You and the team head down to the engine access. If the Prometheus team is working on repairs they'll be down here. Everything on this ship looks so familiar. It reminds everyone of the ship they'd spent the last couple month living in.
In the engine room eveything looks used as well. There are tools everywhere. But everything looks to be in working order. You explore the room until you finally find something that is out of place. A switch on the wall. The only switches should be on a board with others so thing is accidently hit.
You flip it.
You are pulled into a tunnel of wild colors and appear to be moving at a light speed. You close your eyes. What is happening?
[[Open Your Eyes->Begin Again]]Escape is the only viable option. Both crews hurry towards the docking entrance. Before they can get to it the bridge is shot by the alien ship. The two ships begin to float apart from eachother. There's only one way everyone survives.
You radio back to the Hyperion I. "Go home and come back." You watch as the Hyperion I's rockets begin to start up and take off towards Earth. The alien ship is now approaching the Prometheus...
The EndThe aliens send another message this time to both ships. This time it's a file of an unknown type. Neither ship has any idea how to open it. You grab John and run to the bridge between the ships. You wave spiratically on the bridge trying to get the attention of the aliens.
After a fit of waving and screaming, you stop, hopefully they can see you. You point to yourself then the aliens. Then to John and back to you. You tell John to walk towards you. He complies. When he gets close to you, you catch him turn him around and push him back towards the way he came from.
Do they understand? Three shots fly over the bridge but they don't hit anything. A yes? Hopefully.
You call everyone to board the Hyperion I and ready for a course to Earth. Once everyone is aboard the engines fire up you're on your way. Home.
The End.
[[Good luck Captain->END]]
You look around. You've been here before. The Hyperion I is headed toward Titan. You look around. This time it's only you.
You walk around the ship.
No one.
Silence.
The End.
