Henry the horse lives on a farm with his mate, Clara. One day, some farm hands roll up in a big truck, welcomed by John the farmer, a stout yet muscular man, who owns the land Henry and Clara live on. They wrangle Clara up, bring her onto the truck, and take her away down the road. Distraught, Henry panics, kicks down the fence and escapes his enclosure and gallops down the street after his Clara, but the truck is far too powerful and fast for him. When the truck rounds a bend, Henry makes a quick cut off the road into the wooded area, hoping to catch up with them, but quickly finds himself buried in the overgrowth of leaves and vines. He then spots a strange looking object, a large metal pod ensnared within the vegetation, with the door wide open. Out of control, he gallops into the pod. Trapped and now even more panicked, and without sufficient room to turn around, he jumps up and down and swings his front two hooves wildly before him, slamming a large hoof onto the control panel. When Henry accidentally [[hits a button|intro2]], the door slams shut, and the lights go out... Henry and Conan emerge from the time machine back on Henry's farm, moments before Clara is taken. Conan and Henry hide behind some nearby bushes, they watch the truck take Clara away, followed by the other Henry who engages in a chase. They watch the other Henry veer off the road and enter the time machine. "Okay, let's go!" Henry and Conan charge down the road after the truck! Much closer than the other Henry was able to catch up. Conan lassos the truck, latches onto the door handle and begins to pull. "We've got her!" Another truck comes barreling down the road after Henry, it is farmer John's truck. In his surprise, Henry knocks Conan off, and he flies into the nearby bushes. Farmer John quickly wrangles Henry up. "There you are, you sunnova--" Henry is taken back to his farm, never to see his Clara again. [[Speak up|Eliza]]Henry, Conan, and Takashi arrive in medieval England. Henry trots down a dirt path with Conan riding on him, Takashi follows alongside, quiet and vigilant. They move along the border of a great stone castle, peasants work the fields and merchant stands. The time machine is left far enough from the square so that the only looks shot are at the party themselves. There is a commotion among the crowd of people, and the focus shifts from the party over to a group of armored knights, the kings guard, wrestling with a small, cloaked figure and attempting to restrain the individual. Small, meek cries emerge from the individual, clearly helpless against the armored men. Henry and Conan flash a horrified look over to Takashi, who responds with one of anger. Takashi marches in the direction of assailants, his hand to the hilt of his blade. "Takashi, wait," says Henry. "Maybe we should..." The cloaked figure suddenly summons strength and tosses the assailants aside. Takashi stops in his tracks. One of the knights raises his sword and brings it back down to his attacker, when the cloaked figure raises a hand and a strong pulse of air bursts in the knight's direction, the blade flying from his hand and the blast knocking him to the ground. The burst of air also removes the hood from the figure, revealing a young maiden. "Witch!" Says a knight. Another knight moves in for attack, but is swiftly repulsed by another of the witch's spell. "We need to help her," says Conan. Knights drop as the young witch fights her attackers off, one lucky soldier swipes her across the face with his blade. The maiden yelps in pain, when the knights brings the hilt of his sword down onto her head. One knight picks her up, slings her over a horse, and takes her away into the castle. Takashi leaps up onto Henry, along with Conan. "After them, we have to hurry," he says. "Wait, no, we're outnumbered," says Conan. "[[We have to be smart about this]]," says Henry.Henry, Conan and Takashi arrive in the Old West. Coming across an old saloon, the party are drawn by the sound of gunshots and rowdy drunks from within. "There's got to be some tough guys in there," says Henry. Takashi appears unhappy. "It's a good place at least to start," says Conan. Upon entering the saloon, they discover the inside to be populated largely by a party of suspicious looking characters, most likely outlaws. A timid looking bartender cowers slightly behind the bar and wipes down the counter. Takashi glares. "I am not so sure this is wise," says Takashi. "Extending acquaintance to such unsavory individuals." Henry and Conan look around the room. "We have to give it a try," says Conan. "CAN I HAVE EVERYBODY'S ATTENTION?" Nobody does so much as lower their voice, a few eyes dart in their direction, perhaps at the unusual sight of a horse in the bar. [[Speak up|Takashi]]Henry and Conan arrive back in Henry's own time, finding themselves in the field outside of the woods where Henry had initially discovered the time machine. "This looks like just before my Clara was taken," says Henry. "Then we'll find her," says Conan. "Even if we are a little light on backup." Conan slips Billy's revolver into his holster, then sheaths Takashi's katana blade. Henry and Conan trot quickly down the road in the direction of the farm. As they get closer, they spot the truck that took Clara away pulling up to the farm. The farmhands, led by John the farmer, have Clara roped up and pull her by the reins over and into the truck, she jumps and squirms and resists them. "There she is!" Cries Henry. Henry picks up speed, just as the mean lead Clara into the truck and close the doors on her. Henry darts down the road, then leaps over the fence and into the farm and plows into the crowd of farmhands, scattering them. Conan fires a shot into the air from the revolver, startling and scattering them even further. Conan quickly dismounts Henry. He tosses the katana over to Henry, who catches it in his mouth, then Conan rushes over to the truck and attempts to undo the chains locking the door. Henry kicks his front hooves wildly at the farmhands while swinging the katana at any who get too close. John the farmer grabs Conan by the shoulders and pulls him away from the truck, Conan then cocks the gun and holds it to John's forehead, forcing him back. Another farmhand runs hard into Conan and tackles him to the ground, several more men pile onto him and prevent him from moving, John then wrestles the gun out of Conan's outstretched arm. As Henry spars with the other farmhands, a deep yet sharp gunshot sounds, and Henry's katana shatters into pieces, he reels back in startled shock. Smoke rises from John's revolver. He pulls back the hammer once more, shifts his aim to Henry himself, then pulls the trigger. The chamber is empty. John grunts in frustration, then he turns around and pistol whips Conan hard across the face, knocking him unconscious. One of the farmhands sneaks up behind Henry and fits a lasso around his neck. Henry leaps and fights the man's grip, but the rest of the farmhands proceed to rope and wrangle Henry up, bringing him to the ground. "You bastard," curses John. [[Resist?|Bad ending]] [[Give up?|Bad ending]]Henry arrives back in his own time with his party; Conan and Eliza the witch. They find themselves in the field outside of the woods where Henry had initially discovered the time machine. "There," says Eliza to the group. Eliza points off into the woods, one could vaguely make out the metal structure which they had previously been traveling in, or perhaps not yet having traveled in. "The other time machine," she says. "So, we should be good, as long as the other you hasn't yet found that machine than we can still accomplish our goal." "So, this is just before Clara was taken," says Henry. "I hope we have enough time to get to her before she is taken away." "Don't worry, we'll get her," says Conan. He takes out the outlaw's revolver and cocks it. Henry's two companions mount him, and they trot away down the road toward the farm. As they get close, Henry spots the truck that took Clara away pulling up to the farm. Clara herself is led by the reins down the path and up to the truck by John the farmer, she is restrained by several farmhands as she frantically pulls and fights their grip. Henry gasps when he spots her. "That's my Clara, after them!" Henry cries, as he [[picks up speed|picks up speed1]]Henry arrives back in his own time with Conan, Takashi the samurai, and the witch Eliza, a full party in tow. They find themselves in the field outside of the woods where Henry had initially discovered the time machine. In the distance, Henry could vaguely make out the metal structure which he had found earlier, that his counterpart would soon find. "This is just before Clara was taken," says Henry. "Hopefully we'll have enough time to get to her before she is taken away." "Do not worry," says Takashi. "We will rescue your beloved mare." The rest of the party hops onto Henry along with Conan, and they gallop down the road over to the farm. As they approach, they could spot the truck with the grimy farmhands, led by John the farmer, hauling Clara by the reins. She struggles and squirms and fights her way out of their grip, but to no avail. "That's my Clara!" Henry cries, as he picks up speed. "Hold on," shouts Eliza. "Get behind the fence, here." Henry slows to a halt and sidles up alongside the fence. Takashi leaps off of Henry and crouches amongst the tall grass, Henry too lowers himself as best he can. Eliza dismounts and slowly moves along the fence without being seen. John produces a long, red hot branding iron. Clara reels at the sight of it and struggles even harder. "Hold her, damn it, hold 'er still!" John coughs, as he moves the iron slowly to Clara's flesh. Henry's eyes widen in fear. Eliza leaps up from the concealment of the grass, swings her arms out before her, and a blast of icy air shoots from her palms. Each of the farm hands look up in shock as they are overtaken by the blast and slowly frozen. "Ha! Brilliant!" Says Conan. He and Henry gallop quickly over to Clara, while Eliza works to hold her freeze spell. "Hurry," she says. "I'm not sure how long I could hold them." Conan dismounts and quickly works to undo Clara’s bonds. Henry moves in for embrace, Clara leaps now in excitement at seeing her mate. "Clara, it's okay, we've got you," he says. Clara snorts in confusion. "Oh, maybe you can't understand me..." Steam rises from one of the frozen bodies. John's branding iron, no longer red but still hot enough to melt the ice, is slowly gaining free. "Oh no," cries Eliza. [[Refocus spell]] [[Brace for impact]]When the doors open back up, Henry just barely manages to leap out of the pod and begins galloping around wildly in a fit of panic. He is no longer on his own farm, but now is in a deserted wasteland with no grass or trees or flowers or buildings of any kind. Towers of smoke mingle against the ashen sky, Henry hears explosions off in the distance, he is now even more spooked to even begin to comprehend his surroundings. Henry spots a small figure emerging over the hill in his direction, a young human child, no older than eleven or twelve. He is dirty and bloody and in a mad dash away from the carnage of warfare. His body is okay, but the scars are visible in his eyes, just as spooked as Henry is. Henry backs away as the boy gets closer to him, the boy approaching the horse with intrigue. "Hey, hey, tell me what's wrong, buddy," says the boy. Henry, of course, does not respond, but whinnies and squirms around in distress. "You can't, can you?" The boy holds a bloodied horse bridle, one that looks like it's been used but it appears new like nothing Henry had ever seen, shiny and metallic and futuristic looking. The boy struggles with the squirming horse but slips the bridle over his head. Henry shakes his head in disorientation, but quickly calms down, and looks around as if contemplating his surroundings. "There, is that better? Now can you tell me what's wrong?" Henry opens his mouth... "I don't know where I am..." Shock appears on Henry's face at the words coming out of his own mouth. "You've probably never done this before, have you?" asks the boy. Looking at the time machine... "You're not from around here, are you?" "They took her, my Clara, they took her, I need to get her back!" Says Henry. "I was chasing after her, but then I ran into this shiny box, and now I'm here. The boy goes up and studies the time machine. "I see, I don't know how you've stumbled across one of these, you must've galloped right into 2088," says the boy. "I need to get out of here, I didn't ask to be a part of this, they took US without our permission. So, if you take me away in your machine, I'll help you get your Clara back, deal." Henry bows his head. "Deal!" "Excellent, now let's [[get in|intro3]], before anyone sees!""Thank you, friend, boy," says the horse. "I'm Henry." "Please, you can call me Conan." The boy studies the control console. "So, it would appear that this machine needs repairs. I can't do it myself right here, but it would seem we've only got three active jumps left in this machine, do you understand? We can only go to one of these three locations, or to where you just came from. "Henry only needs to get back home to Clara." "Of course, but we have an opportunity here to gain some allies, get some help, you know? You have a time machine at your disposal, you might as well use it." Henry hesitates for a moment, pondering his options. "Well anyway, I'll let you have the choice. We can only go to two of these three predetermined locations, or you can go straight back home." "We extend our trust to you and offer you employment, you betray our trust and make us accessory to--" "Hey, pal, if you agree not to say anything then I'll just go ahead and--" "No! You will return what you have stolen, or you shall face me in combat!" "No, guys!" Says Conan. "Don't be doing this!" Takashi and Billy stand opposite one another on either side of the road, Takashi sheathes his blade while Billy reaches for his holster. They remain locked in standoff for what feels like endless moments, Henry and Conan look on in terror. [[Stop Takashi?]] [[Stop Billy?]]Up on the stage in the middle of the square, the maiden lies tied down with a basket sitting beneath her head. She is in a daze, just beginning to awaken and not fully aware of the fate that awaits her. Two menacing executioners stand on either side of her, cloaked in black garb. As the crowd chants, eager for her death, one executioner slowly lifts a mighty axe, and brings it down hard. A katana blade emerges from the other man's cloak and blocks the axe from making contact. The one executioner looks up at the other, furious. He pulls his cloak away to reveal the samurai armor beneath. Takashi swings the axe away from its intended target, and with his own blade slashes wildly at the executioner, the hulking man swiftly blocking every blow. As the other knights rush to the aid of the executioner, Henry barrels through the crowd, Conon riding him, knocking aside the knights. Henry hops up onto the stage as Takashi continues dueling with the executioner. Conan swiftly leaps down to the witch and cuts her bounds. "Come on," he says, extending a hand. The witch takes his hand, and he pulls her up onto Henry. Takashi delivers a decisive blow and cuts down his opponent, who falls to the stage with a lout THUD. The other guards begin to come to. "Go," says Takashi. "But..." "I will meet you; you must go!" Henry rides away with Conan and the witch while Takashi spars with the onslaught of knights. Back at the time machine, Henry and Conan tend to the maiden's wounds. "Please, allow me," she says. She holds both her hands to her chest, closes her eyes, and her bruises and cuts slowly begin to disappear. "That's amazing," says Henry. The girl looks up in amusement, then she giggles. "I'd take it you should know a little about this, no?" Henry stammers. "It's okay, I've seen a few things," she says, and rises to her feet. "You have my gratitude, but now they'll be after you too." "You know," says Conan. "We have the ability to take you away from here, far away, if you'd like that." She smirks. "Yes, I would very much like that. You may call me Eliza." "I just hope Takashi..." A shadow emerges slowly from the mist before them, the tall samurai arrives bloody, but triumphant, he sheathes his sword. "Yes, you're alright!" Says Henry. "A samurai always keeps his word," he says. "Now, it looks like the maiden is safe, and a sure ally to us..." "Then I guess it's time to go," says Henry. "If you'll join us." "Of course," says Eliza. Henry trots into the time machine, followed by his party, and they [[head back to the present|Good ending path]].Henry was already locked away in the stable when he helplessly watched the truck drive away. His heart sank as it disappeared around the corner, taking his Clara away, who in all likelihood he would never see again. Henry whinnies mournfully to himself as he settles sulkily into the corner. A horse who Henry had never seen before trots casually up to him, although he recognizes the horse immediately. Henry looks up from his sorrow to find, Henry, his own past self. The alternate Henry sniffs and studies his counterpart curiously. His eyes, too, are heavy with sorrow, he also knows what had just happened. As Henry looks to his past self wondrously, he suddenly begins to feel very faint and lightheaded. He snorts to himself. "Maybe you'll make the same mistakes," he says to his counterpart. "Or maybe you'll be the one to make things right. I wouldn't have thought that of myself when I was...you." Henry shakes his head and slips the bridle off of him, and it falls to the ground in a clump between them. The opposite Henry lowers his head and sniffs the bridle curiously, then looks back up to his counterpart. Henry turns and struts over to the edge of the stable, he sticks his head out of the stable window and stares off somberly into the sunset. His very last thought is of his beloved Clara, and what might possibly come of her, as Henry grows weaker and fainter until he fades completely away from existence. All of the animals march out of the barn, a few of them levitating aimlessly in the air, evidently sharing some of Eliza's magic as well. As John remains with his weapon locked with Takashi's, he slowly turns to his livestock, a look of fear in his eye. "What in the--?" The animals charge at their master and his hands, forming a stampede. John and the other men scurry to the gates and down the road, fleeing from the mob of angry four-legged creatures, until they disappear over the hill and are out of sight. Henry lets out a long, triumphant sigh. He turns to Clara and places his head to hers, the two embracing each other lovingly. Last out of the barn, is Henry. Not our Henry, but his counterpart. He gallops across the field and after the stampede of livestock. The party all flashes each other a look. "Hey, horse!" Eliza calls to counter-Henry. She arranges her fingers into a formation and twirls her hands around, and a portal opens up from a few meters above the ground and the grimy time machine drops from its previous location. The other Henry runs into the time machine and the door slams behind him. "Go on an adventure, [[have fun|Good ending]]," she says.Henry neighs loudly. "Can we have everybody's attention, please?" He calls. That shuts everybody up. A few of the patrons began studying their drinks before them. "Thank you," says Henry. "We are looking for a group of brave warriors to assist us on an epic quest." Silence. "Or, if not warriors," says Conan. "Some worthy mercenaries who are up for the job." Conan reaches into his pocket and [[drops a handful of gold coins]] onto the table before them. Takashi clears his throat, then steps forward. "We are looking for some brave warriors who are worthy of assisting us on a dangerous quest," he says. Silence, the patrons all continue to stare, aghast. Conan steps down off of Henry. "Or, if not warriors," he says. "Perhaps some brave mercenaries who are up for the job?" Conan reaches into his pocket and [[drops]] a handful of gold coins onto the table before them. He whispers to the party; "Gold is worthless in my time."At the guillotine, Conan and Henry are tied down with rope. Henry scopes out the crowd of spectators and searches for any potential means of escape, he waits patiently for the executioner to drop the blades. A blinding flash of light emerges from the crowd, stunning the executioner. Leaping onto the stage was the hooded figure from earlier, removing the hood and revealing herself to be a young maiden, golden haired and beautiful. She waves her hands in and intricate pattern, mutters some words, and their bounds disappear from thin air. "WITCH!" Says the executioner. As Henry climbs back up to his feet, the figure quickly mounts him. "Come on," she calls to Conan, grabbing his hand and hoisting him up, and the three of them ride far away quickly. "Why did you save us?" Asked Henry. "I know more than a little about witchcraft," she says. "And I know you two aren't witches, but I did see you arrive in your pod, you're time travelers." Conan and Henry exchange looks. "If you help us with our quest," says Henry. "We can get you out of here, to safety." "Count me in," she says. "You can call me Eliza." They ride once more into the time machine, ready for their next destination; [[Feudal Japan|Feudal Japan2]] [[Old West|Old West2]]The party settles onto a grassy hill and stare off into the setting sun, the other animals having now returned and they frolic and graze throughout the field, the farm is now theirs. Takashi stands alone, removing his helmet and armor and allowing the sun to warm his face, the battle has been won. Conan and Eliza sit together. She fiddles with sparks between her fingers and playfully tosses them at Conan, who yelps a girlish shriek, she chuckles. They are each content with their newfound freedom, they move a little closer together. Henry's bridle lays before him, he and Clara gently groom and caress one another. They are each the only prize that either of them need. [[Begin new adventure?|Begin]]It is too late; the ice is weak enough that he manages to break free with a loud roar. Eliza reels back from exhaustion. "Ahh! You damn, stupid horse!" John sticks his branding iron back into the kiln, it emerges red hot once more. He marches over to Henry and Clara, raises the iron over his head, and swiftly brings it down. The blow is blocked by Takashi's katana blade. "Wha--? What is this?" Says John, aghast. "You prey on innocent creatures," says Takashi, swinging the iron away from Henry. "But never have you faced a true warrior." Takashi thrusts his katana at the farmer, sparks fly as the blade repeatedly makes contact with the hot iron. The other men break free of their icy bonds and move over to their prize horse. Henry and Clara both charge at the horde of men, kicking their hooves wildly and making contact with many faces. Conan leaps from Henry and spars with the men. Just as Eliza awakens from her stupor, two of the men try to grab her and hold her down, but she forces them off of her with a powerful blast of air. Takashi now has John backed into a corner. "You do not suffer an honorable defeat," says Takashi. "You will indeed be remembered as a villain. Takashi raises his katana for a final blow, when he is tackled by several large men from behind, who drive him to the ground and pummel him. "Everybody," says Eliza. She closes her eyes, concentrating particularly hard. Raising her hands in the air above her, a small orb of light appears floating in her palms. She then thrusts the orb downward and it pulsates through the ground. The party are seemingly struck by an unseen force. Conan, who is backed into a corner, clenches his fists tight, and they begin to glow a fiery red. He punches his attackers and a bright flash of light pulses as his fist makes contact, the men fly several feet away. In wide-eyed shock, Conan studies his hands and notices the sparks emanating from his fingers. "Awesome!" He declares. "You all have some of my power," says Eliza. "But I can't guarantee for how long, make the best of it!" With incredible strength, Takashi throws his attackers off of him and leaps to his feet. "Come at me, my foes," he says. Henry and Clara look to one another. As they each begin to concentrate, a small growth begins to emerge from the center of Henry's forehead. A similar protrusion appears on Clara's head, as the two horses grow their magic horns, becoming unicorns. "Are you ready?" He says to his mate. [[Charge horns]]The ice being weak enough, John manages to break free with a loud roar. Eliza immediately meets him with a swift blast of air which knocks him right into his backside. "Ahh! [[Charge horns]]Henry gallops furiously down the road, pounding on the dirt with his hooves and kicking up dust. They arrive at the farm just as the hands have slammed the doors on Clara. Conan raises the revolver in the air and fires, grabbing the attention of the farmhands. Henry valiantly leaps the fence and comes back down, sending them scattering out of the way. Conan and Eliza leap off of Henry and ready themselves for attack. Eliza performs a spell on the lock of the truck door, slowly freezing it solid and hopefully making it easier to bust. Henry jumps and kicks wildly at the farmhands, forcing them away from the truck. Conan fires the revolver at the ground just before their feet, scattering them further. John the farmer sneaks up behind Conan and grabs him by the abdomen, Conan now being unable to effectively target John. A farmhand runs up and grabs him by the arm, pointing the gun up toward the sky. Several more men come at Conan and tackle him to the ground, wrestling him in attempt to get ahold of the gun. Two men grab Eliza and rip her away from the lock, she retaliates by hitting both of them with a blast of icy air. The men who are not holding down Conan rush Eliza, but she pushes each of them back. One man jumps into the cabin of the truck and ignites the engine. Before Henry or anyone else are able to react, the truck pulls away and heads down the road. Henry's eyes widen in horror as the truck disappears around the bend. He plows right through the men who are occupying him and leaps over the fence, galloping furiously after the truck, but it is already too far down the road and Henry struggles to catch up. "Henry," calls Eliza. "I've got you!" Eliza performs a motion with her fingers, mutters some words, then thrusts her hands out in front of her, and [[fires a beam of light]] from her palms at Henry. "Go get her!" She calls.Henry jolts as the blast hits him, leaping in the air at the sting. When the pain passes, what replaces it is the feeling of strength. His muscles no longer strain as he sprints down the road, he effortlessly carries himself down the path. Before he realizes it, his legs are carry him even faster, faster than he had thought capable, then that beyond which he had ever gone before. He rocketed around the bend, the air cutting at him with the speed of his movement, and he had soon caught up to the truck in a matter of mere seconds. He charges hard into the rear of the truck, it swerves along the road, but keeps on going. Henry rushes for one final time and [[delivers one last hard blow|Medium ending]] to the back of the truck, the lock breaks apart and the door swings open.Clara appears shaken, but she locks eyes with Henry and then leaps out of the truck, which continues down the road and out of sight. Henry takes Clara into his embrace, caressing and rubbing his face up against hers. "Clara, I've finally got you!" No response from Clara. "You probably can't understand me, can you?" She looks up at him in confusion. "We'll see what Conan can whip up for you." Henry trots down the road with Clara by his side, they gallop blissfully away and off into the sunset, with all the time in the world together to look forward to. [[Begin new adventure?|Begin]]"Wait!" Takashi swiftly unsheathes his blade. Henry gallops in his direction and kicks his legs wildly, catching Takashi off guard. Billy fires. Takashi is struck right between the ribs. The arc of his strike still carrying, the blade slips out of his hand and impales Billy right through the abdomen. The two bodies drop simultaneously. Conan and Henry stare mournfully over the sight. "We only have one more jump left you, know?" Says Conan. "I know," says Henry. "I guess we have no choice but to go back home empty-handed. Takashi halts in surprise just as he reaches Billy. Still with his blade drawn, Henry prances over and kicks the katana swiftly out of Takashi's grip. "Everyone, enough!" Says Conan. "It's obvious you two can't work together, but we need allies." "We came all this way," says Henry, turning to Billy. "You're clearly the one who can't be trusted. Henry and Conan exchange a glance, then simultaneously nod to one another. "Takashi," says Henry. "If you agree not to behead anyone, we'll leave him behind and bring you along." Billy turns sharply. "What? Come on, you can't do this." Takashi turns and picks up his katana, then sheaths it. "My apologies for disturbing the quest," he says. "But you are right; I will have no association with this one." He reaches over and snatches the trinkets out of Billy's grip. "Hey--!" "After we return what was stolen," says Takashi. "We head for battle." "Sounds good to me," says Henry. They find themselves in the field outside of the woods where Henry had initially discovered the time machine. In the distance, Henry could vaguely make out the metal structure which he had found earlier, that his counterpart would soon find. "I think this is just before Clara was taken," says Henry. "We should have enough time to get to her before she is taken away." "Do not worry," says Takashi. "We will rescue your beloved mare." Conan draws the outlaw's revolver and cocks it. "That's my Clara, after them!" Henry cries, as he [[picks up speed|picks up speed2]].Henry gallops furiously down the road, pounding on the dirt with his hooves and kicking up dust. Takashi stands at attention and holds his katana in the direction of the hands. He rigidly defending the truck as Conan carefully aims the revolver at the lock and fires. John the farmer sneaks up alongside Conan and shoulder charges him to the ground, knocking the gun out of his hand in the process. Several more men pile on top of Conan and pin him down, in order to prevent him from reaching the gun. Takashi turns swiftly around on one heel and aims his blade at John. "Villain," says Takashi. A tool box sits beside the truck. John reaches a produces an iron crowbar from the box, holds it shakily in Takashi's direction. Takashi smirks, he lunges his blade at John, who blocks the blow with the crowbar. As Takashi spars with John, one man jumps into the cabin of the truck and ignites the engine. Before Henry or anyone else are able to react, the truck pulls away and heads down the road. Henry's eyes widen in horror as the truck disappears around the bend. Henry cuts across down the wooded trail, as he had before. This time knowing where the time machine is, how narrowly avoids it, and sails on over back onto the road ahead of the truck. "I'll be seeing you later," he thinks to himself. "Or maybe not?" As the truck rounds the bend, Henry [[leaps up in the air|Medium ending]] into the path of the truck. The driver of the vehicle swerves sharply in surprise, narrowly dodging Henry but continuing down the road nonetheless. The movement causes the back door of the truck to swing open.
