Ukuleles are mini guitars with four different sounding strings. You stroke the strings with your pointer finger or thumb. Different chords (notes) are made by holding strings down in different areas of the finger board. There are various strumming patterns you can use to play the ukulele. Strumming is the pace and direction of which way you are stroking the strings. This app will help you get a sense of how to start playing the ukulele.
Finger picking-
use your thumb to pluck the first two strings and your index and middle for the bottom two

-keep your ukulele in tune by breaking in new strings

-picking too hard can cause the string to vibrate against the fretboard and create a buzzing noise

Strumming- beginners should strum with their index and thumb fingers pinched together
