I will help you make this game, using Twine. Open a new browser tab and go to: https://twinery.org/2/#!/stories Click the (background:green)[+Story] button, to start creating your story. Name the story (text-style:"underline")[Duplicate & Mutate: Twine], click the (background:green)[Add] button. [[Next->Untitled Passage 2]]

Let’s create all the passages. Click the (background:green)[+Passage] button to add a new passage. Add some passages, and line them up neatly in order with some space between them. You can always add more passages as you need them. [[Next->Untitled Passage 3]]

Select the original passage to edit by double clicking on it, or pressing the pencil icon. Write some place holder text, this can be anything, you will delete it later. [[Next->Untitled Passage 9]]

Close that passage box, so you can see the layout of all the passages. You should now see an arrow joining the first two passages. Repeat the linking process, so that each passage joins to the next. [[Next->Untitled Passage 5]]

You can test the game is working by pressing the (text-colour:grey)+(background:white)[‣Play] button at any point. This will open up a new tab in your browser, which you can close when you’ve finished testing it. [[Next->Untitled Passage 6]]

Now you can start copying the text from this game into each of the passages so your game has the same flow as this one. You can use the arrow on the left to navigate backwards to see the previous text, and keep moving forward to see the rest of the text. [[Next->Untitled Passage 7]]

Let’s make some changes. Whilst keeping the core of the game the same, you can change the dialogue, style, links or colours. [[Next->Untitled Passage 8]]

All done? Once you’re happy, download the game by clicking on the project title in the bottom left corner of the screen and selecting (text-colour:grey)+(background:white)[Publish to File] and share it wherever you want. [[Back to beginning.->Untitled Passage]]

Then: * Click the (text-colour:grey)+(background:white)[Link...] button, a box will open up. * Where it says (text-colour:grey)+(background:white)[Create Hyperlink, with this text:] write (text-style:"underline")[Next]. * In the drop down menu (text-colour:grey)+(background:white)[Go to this passage:] select the next passage, this will probably be called (text-style:"underline")[Untitled Passage 1].
