The human race has colonized our local galactic neighborhood with the invention of the Alcubierre Warp Drive in 2235. The Alcubierre Drive bent Einsteins rules to allow for travel at superluminal speeds using dark energy. One space explorer, Julien Legrand, set out with his crew at the turn of the 25th century to explore farther than humans have ever reached before. His crew however went missing never to be seen again...]

It hinted at alien technology that may allow for immortality. Rumors of this message spread across the known worlds promting people from all over to set out in search for Legrand and his "treasure".]

(align:"=><=")+(box:"X")[Hello and welcome to my game! My name is Pranav Manoj and I made this game as a project for my Foundations of Video Game Design class. These are just some notes that might be interesting and might help you while playing.]
(align:"=><=")+(box:"X")[
- This goal of the game is to follow a signal to a "treasure" in far away parts of the galaxy. To do this, there are many hints and clues along the way. So pay attention to small details that may not seem important at first glance. Hint: the distance between stars may or may not be important :)
- The (text-colour:#cc5de8)[''purple''] colored links in the game lead to Info Logs which may include helpful information or other interesting information about story elements.
- Most of the stars, planets, and other story elements are based on reality. All the star and star system names are accurate and the distances between them are accurate as well (the distance between locations is reflected in the speed of the transition between slides).
- The Alcubierre Warp drive described in the game is based off an actual scientific paper by physicist Miguel Alcubierre. The paper describes a way to travel faster than light. However, this requires the use of exotic matter so it is not feasable in real life with our current knowledge of physics.
- Well since you read this far, I'll give you another hint. In addition to purple links leading to info logs, there are hidden links, which look like regular text, that lead to additional hidden info logs.
Thanks for playing and good luck!
