You are walking down a hallway, dust on the old shelves riddled with age and cobwebs that are laced in the vacent spaces in between the shelve space and from behind them. Then you come up to a fork. To the left, is a hallway with open windows strewn on the side. To the right, various statues of heads line up the left side. [[Go Left]] [[Go Right]]You head down the left hallway as the floorboard creak and strain beneath your feet. Rain pounds heavily against the windows as you walk by them. Though as you walk by the last window, Something rests in the corner of your eye. [[Look]] [[Continue Foward]] [[Head Back]]You decide to head down the right hallway. As you walk you get the strange feeling of being watched. But you just shrug it off as dissilkusioned paranoia. [[Continue On]] [[Head Back]] [[Look at the Statue Heads]]Your curiosity gets the better of you and you look at what caught your interest and eye. From what you can make out through the soaked windows, something of a figure standing in the middle of the rain. Like a statue from how it is unmoving in the rain. [[Look Closer]] [[Turn Away]]Lightning booms and flashes outside as you walk down the hall and come up to a door of pliewood and mahagony. [[Try to Open the Door]]You decide to head back to the fork, not wanting to see what might happen and to see what else you can decide on. [[Beginning]] You decide to take a closer look at the figure in white, standing perfectly still in the middle of the rain. Just staring at you. And upon closer observation, from you can make out is the faint glow of red from his eyes. Lighting booms and then a brief flash of lightining blinds you. After regaining your sight, you see that the man in white is gone. Your curiosity now gone, you decide to turn back to try the other way. But as you turn around the man in white stands before you. Taller then you and looking down at you, opposing. [[Run]]A creeping feeling falls over you, the man in white gives off a rather ominous aura so you decide to head back to the fork of the hallway. [[Beginning]] Panic sets in, and in a moment of fight or flight, you choose flight and make a mad dash to get away from him. But the man in white is must faster then you and appears in front of you. He then grips you by the throat and lifts you off of your feet. You look into the abyss of his hood and clearly see the red glow of his eyes. Something moves in his hood and you see tentacles slowly sliding out from the abyss and towards your face. . The last thing you hear is a garbled saying from the man in white "Welcome Home" he says as those words are the last you will hear as the tentacles enter the orifices of your face, slowly creeping into your eyes, crushing your eyeballs in the process and making you scream in pain. A tentacles then slides into your mouth, gagging you of air. Your ears get stuffed as then you feel yourself slowly slipping away as then your arms go limp and the tentacles begin to fuse with your head. Your body then dissolves and forms into a red puddle of what remains of your blood and body. END [[Beginning]] You press on foward and come up to a door of pliewood and open it. [[Head in the Hallway]] You take a moment to enjoy the sculpted heads made of clay and stone that you pass by. Even though the household is old and decrepit, the statues are in perfect condition. From the pores of the skin to the eyes it was almost like a real head. The statues were made with TLC. Then a small noise catches your attention nearby. [[Ignore it]] [[Head Back]] [[Look to the Sound]]Not wanting to delay yourself of any further distractions, you ignore the sound and come up to the a door of redwood. It is smooth to the touch, like it was freshly carved from a master wood carver. [[Head in the Hallway]] The feeling of being watches sets in once more and you look behind you. But you see nothing, nothing but the statues to your sides. With that sense of paranoia off your shoulder, you sigh in relief and calm, thinking to yourself that it was just the wind. And that it's an old house, so it's typically for it to make creaks and groan from the wood. When you turn around you jump a bit, startled from the sudden figure in front of you. But once you get a better look, you see that it's just a statue. Though from the corner of your eye, you look to see the statues heads have all turned to stare at you. [[Turn Back]] [[Press Foward]]It takes you a few seconds to calm down from the sudden scare. After regaining your composure you walk past the statue and open the door behind it. As you peek in through the open door you see faint lights inside. From the look of it they appear to be the lights of many candles on the walls. [[Head in the Hallway]]You head into the dimly lit hallway and the door closes behind you. Needing to move foward, you press on. The faint light of the candles illuminate the darkness that bathes your path foward. You then come to a stop as you see a peculiar candlestick hearby. It seems to be crooked and loose. [[Situate the Candle Back Up]] [[Ignore It and Move on]]Being a perfectionist, you situate the tilted candle to it's correct and upright position. As soon as you push the candle back up to the wall, a soft click catches your attention as you suddenly become light on your fee. You quickly look down to see that you're standing on a trap door. You activated a trap! [[Grasp the Candlestick]] Resisting your curiosity over this, you decide that it's best to not delay and move on. As you walk down the hall though, you start to get a suspicion that you've been walking for what feels like hours, rather then minutes. And that the hallways looks longer too, and then door at the end slips further and further from you as you continue to make your trek to the end. [[Rush to the Door]]With quick thinking you grab the candlestick and hang on to dear life in a death grip. But due to it's age it snaps off the wall, and you fall down into the dark abyss below your feet. The trap door closing shut above you. Darkness bathes your vision as all you feel is gushing air and see the dark abyss all around you. You descend further into the abyss, though as you fall you see faint sparkles of light shining below you. Though upon closer inspection you see that there are spike at the bottom, with skulls hanging on them like fence posts, and cobwebs connecting them together like barbed wire. [[Grasp the Walls]] You grasp the wall, hoping to grab onto a stone sticking out. The spikes begin to inch closer to you and you start to give in to your fate. But then suddenly, you stop falling. You look to your hand to see that you have grabbed a stuck out stone. Relieved at this sudden stroke of luck, you look around to see other stones strewn about the wall. So you think on how to approach climbing out. [[Slow and Steady]] [[Fast and Strong]]You carefully plan out your climb out of this dark abyss of stone and climb with the stones that stick and jut out. With careful and a slow pace you come up to the top of this pit. The trap door was still open thankfully. You cling to the edge of the floor with dust bathing your skin and pores as you pull yourself out and lie down on the floor, happy to be alive. The trap door closes as soon as you relax. You get up and dust yourself of the dust and grime that is on your clothes and resume your walk down the darkened hallway. [[Rush to the Door]] Without and thought or shred of self doubt, you make hast and begin to make your climb back up. Though due to how fast you are going, you don't notice that a stone, just only sticking out by small inches, you try to grasp it but you easily loose your grip. You then fall back down and you land on the spikes, impaled id the stomach, left tricep, and your right hand. You blood slides down the spikes and bathes the skulls beneath in your blood. The life begins to leave you as with your last breath, you close your eyes, joining the poor souls in this dark abyss. Your story ends here... END [[Beginning]] Creeped out now, you decide to turn back to the fork. But you see that a statue blocks the way in front of you. You could of sword that you didn't see another statue before. [[Try to Walk Past the Statue]]Wary about the statue you carefully walk apst it but then suddenly, it's arm comes to life and blocks your path. You look up to meet it's piercing gaze of yellow eyes and devilish smile. As you stare into it's eyes you start to feel light headed, and darkness begins to overtake your vision and your conciouness dims. [[Wake Up]] [[Wake Up]] [[Wake Up]]Something wet drips onto your head, sliding down your spine. The cold of the sliding water wakes you from your unconncious state. You slowly open your eyes, trying to get them adjusted to your surroundings. Once adjusted you look around to see yourself in a room lit by candles strewn all around. The room is rather dank and has the scent of fresh limestone. [[Get Up]]You try to get up to regain your composure, but to your surprise, you can't even move a finger or toe. The smell of limestone fills your sense of smell. Though you actually find out that the smell is of fresh cement. Your body is encased in cement, save for your head which was left exposed. You try to struggle, but to not avail can you struggle out of your cage of stone. You look up to see 3 statues stand before you. They devilish grins give you the feeling of unsettling, while their piercing gaze shines faintly, yet menacing. [[Look for an Escape]] [[Surrender Yourself]]Panic begins to set in and you look around the dimly lit room desperate for a way out. As you search you try to struggle and wiggle from your stone shell while the 3 statues before you bring something from out of a nearby chest. From the outline of it, it is a mask. You can also see that the shape is rather familiar to you. You recall that it looks like the statue heads that you walked by earlier and realize that they're actual heads! You struggle more til your body is overtaken by exhaustion and despair. [[Surrender Yourself]] Exhausted and no way out of the situation, you mentally prepare yourself for what comes next and give in to your fate. The statues begin to prepare the death mask that will seal your fate. After a few seconds, one of the statues positions and situates your deathmask. Once in position it closes the mask, encasing your entire head. A wet flop lands on your head, you think it's water, but it's much thicker and heavier, cement begins to slowly pour into your death mask. As the cement fills the mask you hear some words, though you don't know who is saying them. "Another lovely addition to the collection". Darkness takes you as the cement slowly seals your mouth and nose, surrendering you of fresh air. The cement slowly takes the shape of your head and slowly dries up. Your lungs, void of air, burst as the cement dries over your head. Once finished the statues take off the death mask. They then carry you back to the hallway where the heads of men lay in a perfect line. Once situated they vanish into the blackness of the night. Your head slowly cries tears of blood that built up as the cement coated your eyes. You are forever bound to this collection, sheding tears of blood forever more. END [[Beginning]] Paranoia begins to creep into your mind from the aimless walk of this darkened hall. You walk faster and faster, until you are dashing to the door at the end. As you run though you see that the end of the hallway is coming up rather quick. With now time to stop, you crash right through the door and land on the soft grass of the outside. After recollecting yourself, you look around to see that you are in a garden. To your right is a rose bush, roses which are of the purest shade of red. To your left is a white door, though old it looks fairly new. And in front of you is a fountain of clear running water. [[Check the Door]] [[Look at the Rose Bush]] [[Examine the Fountain]]Curious upon the peculiar white door you walk over to it. Upon inspection of it, it looks to be properly made and well tended do. Not a crack of creavise is embedded in the snow white wood. And markings show that appear to be masterfully carved when it was conceived. You look to see that there is no doorknob to open it. You ponder on what kind of door this could be, one with no knob, and as white as snow. [[Look around for something to open it]] [[Look closer at it]]The rose bush, which sits idly by in the garden is bursting with roses that at full bloom. You walk over to it to examine the roses. They are beautiful! [[Take a Whiff]] [[Pick a rose]] You walk over tot he fountain to take a look at it. As you approach the light of the moon reflects upon it's surface. Giving the illusion of millions of diamonds dancing and floating upon the water. But then you see an actualy twinkle and see something in the water. [[Look Closer at the Sparkle]] [[Take a Sip of Water]]You turn the knob to open the door. But to no avail as you quickly realize that the door is locked. [[Look around near the door]] [[Inspect the floor]] [[Head Back]] You look around near the door. Upon inspection of the door you see that it is finely made and crafted, as it looks almost like it was just made. You then find a keyhole underneath the knob. [[Look in the Keyhole]] [[Head Back]]You get kneel down to carefully look on the floor. What you can find are the old rotten wood of the floorboards, they seem like they can give out any moment, but they don't seem to break under your weight. After looking around on the floor you spot a mouse hole, just enough to put your hand through it and feel around for something. [[Put Your Hand in the Mouse Hole]] [[Look around near the door]] [[Head Back]] You kneel down and peer into the keyhole to see what is on the other side of the door. The only thing that you see is a black abyss, no light of any kind to show what lies beyond the door. But then a gush of air runs by the door and you feel a sting and prick to your eye. You pull back screaming in pain as you feel that your eyeball has been stabbed, rendering it blind. With some quick wit, you make a makeshit eye patch from some cloth on your shirt, a padding from your pants, and some thick and strong rubber bands in your pocket. Angered at this, you decide to kick down the door, bursting it open as the doorknob comes off, broken from the force and instead of a black abyss, you see that it is a garden bathed in moonlight. To your right is a rose bush, the roses are of the purest shade of red. To your left, a white door which looks well taken cared for even though the house is old and barren of a single soul. And in front of you is a foundtain, spurting out clear blue water. [[Examine the Fountain]] [[Look at the Rose Bush]] [[Check the Door]] Putting aside fears of what might be in the hole, you slip your hand into the hole and feel around for something to open the door. Your search begins to slowly bear no fruit until you feel a sudden pull of your hand, pulling your arm into the hole. [[Struggle Your Hand out of the Hole]] [[Quickly Pull Your Hand Out]]Whatever force is pulling at your arm is strong, you begin to pull your arm back against it. You give several tugs and pulls at the force that drags you down into the hole. But the grip on your arm is firm and strong. [[Try to Yank Your Arm Out]]You think fast as you quickly pull your arm out of the mouse hole. You sigh in relief of that endevour and then you look in your hand to see a key resting in your palm. You get up off the floor, cleaning your clothes off of the dust from the floor and look to the door. [[Use the Key On the Door]]With some quick thinking you pull back on your arm hard, trying to break free of the mysterious force thuat tries to pull you into the abyss. Unfortunately though, as you yanked out your arm you see that half of your arm has been torn off. You bleed profusely onto the floor before you, screaming in pain. You then feel light headed and fall onto the floor, more blood flows out of your arm and pools around your body while the life drains from you, as does your blood. END [[Beginning]] Looking to the key in the palm of your hand, you ponder on if this key will even fit the hole to unlock the door. Putting the self doubt aside, you put it into the keyhole. To your surprise, it fits in and you turn it, unlocking the door. As you pull the key out it breaks off and the pieces fall onto the floor. Not distressed over the one time key, you turn the knob to open the door. What you come upon is rather surprising as you walk into the garden. To your right is a rose bush, the roses are of the purest shade of red. To your left is a white door that looks well cared for. In front of you is a fountain, streaming clear blue water. [[Check the Door]] [[Examine the Fountain]] [[Look at the Rose Bush]] You lean in to get a better look at the sparkle, and see that it's a gold coin in the water. [[Reach in for the Coin]] [[Don't reach in]]You look to the crystal blue water that the fountain flows from the top. It looks quite drinkable and refreshing. So you cup some water in your hands and driunk it. You feel quite refreshed! That water sure did the trick! [[Look at the Rose Bush]] [[Check the Door]] You put your hand in the water, the icy cold chill upon contact runs up your spine, like a morning chill. You reach down to get the coin but then you slip on the grass and fall into the water! You open your eyes to see that you're fully surrounded in water as you see that the fountain is deeper then it appears to be. The sparkle of the coin shines in your eyes below you. [[Swim Back Up]] [[Try to Get The Coin]]Something in the back of your mind is telling you that it's not worth the risk. For who knows what could be in the waters that surround your hand. So you decide to pull your hand back up and look back on your options. [[Check the Door]] [[Look at the Rose Bush]] Not wanting greed or temptation to overtake your thought, you decide to give up on the coin and swim back up, As you swim the cold feeling to the water bathes over your body, soaking into your senses and feeling of warmth. The only thoughts you have are of fresh air that you don't notice that your leg is caught. Upon realizing your leg is caught in thick moss, you try to get out of it's fleshy and cold grip. Your lungs begin to strain and cramp up as you can't hold your breath anymore and the air exhales out of your lungs and into air bubbles that escape your mouth. Your lungs begin to intake and fill with cold water, making your body go limp, dulling your senses, and draining the last bits of your waking life as your vision blurs and your body floats in an eternal sleep. END [[Beginning]] The sparkle of gold forms temptation into your mind and you swim down to obtain it. As you swim down the light of the water begins to blur from darkness and bathe you in it. Your gold is close as you reach for it and grab it with your hand. But as you try to pick it up, it doesn't move. It seems to be stuck. You give several tugs on the coin, but what comes to view are a set of bloodied teeth and glowing red eyes. You've encountered and angler fish and are tugging on it's light!! [[Punch It]] [[Let go and Swim back up]]You raise up your free hand and throw a punch at the angler fish. But as you try to punch it your movement comes to a half as you then see more lights appear all around it. Shining the darkness and bathing you in light. Then rows of bloodied teeth reveal themselves to you as then the swarm swims over to you and begins to eat the flesh from your bones. Once the last bit of flesh has been stripped off of you, the only remains are your skull, which rests at the bottom of the dark abyss. END [[Beginning]] You quickly let go of the "coin" and swim back up to the surface as fast as your legs can take you. The angler fish swims after you, slowly inching closer and closer to your foot. [[Kick The Fish]] [[Swim Faster]]Your feet are swift and quick as you kick the angler fish square in it's side. Sending it down into the blackened abyss below the blue water. You watch it, to make sure that it won't be coming after your flesh and swim back up to the surface where you gasp a large breath of fresh air, filling your lungs and expanding them. You then get out of the fountain and shake yourself to dry off. Once you've recollected your thoughts and dried yourself off, you consider your remaining options. [[Look at the Rose Bush]] [[Check the Door]] You kick your legs faster to get away from the vicious crustatian that craves for your flesh. You are about a few inches to the surface until your body grows stiff and crooked, you're cramping up. The last thing you see is a set of bloodied teeth, opening wide and biting your face off, tearing off the flesh from your skull as you bleed out and writhe in pain. Though with your vision blurred, you can make out even more lights as then you feel firm grips and tears to your body as a swarm of angler fish begin to slowy tear, rip, and eat the flesh off of your bones. END [[Beginning]] You lean in to the closest rose that you can see and smell it. The scent is quite divine, as you feel the tension coursing through your body, slowly ease away. But you also feel tired too, the pollen seems to be intoxicating too as you then take another whiff. The scent makes your body go numb as you tumble over onto the ground, unconciouss. You awaken to the glow of the moonlight that bathes your body. Slowly recollecting your thoughts, you see that the rose bush has wilted away, beyond recognition and beauty. Once your senses return you get back up and brush yourself off and consider your options. [[Check the Door]] [[Examine the Fountain]] The roses which grow from the arms of the bush, looked pure, and with a perfect shade of red. That looked a lot like blood. Curious, and wanting to have a souvenier of this house of hell, you reach in to pick one. Though as you do, a thorn nips your finger, cutting the tip of your flesh. You pull your hand back as blood drops onto the leaves of the bush. Looking at your finger, it doesn't seem to be deep, so you decide to clean it up over at the fountain. Though as you do, you hear a rustling noise behind you. When you turn your head, your heart stops as terror overcomes your mind. The rose bush has come to life before your eyes! Before you can do a thing, vines from which grew out of the abyss of the bush, grab you and pull you in towards to the bush. You struggle and rip the vines off of your, but to no avail as they are immedietly replaced with another. The bush begins to slowly pull you down into the cold dirt from where it came. As you feel the pull of gravel and plant, roots begin to creep and dig into your flesh. As you struggle even more, the roots quickly pull you down into the earth, as then only the bush remains above your head. The roots drain you of your blood as you have become fertilizer for the bush with the shade of red blood. FIN [[Beginning]] You look around on the ground for something to open the skull door with. You crawl and shift around the gravel that travels and rubs along your fingers for a "key" to the door. As you search your hand then touches something smooth, and cold. You pick it up to see a silver stake. [[Use it on the door]]You look closer to the door, wanting to know the secret of how to open it. When you look closer to the frame, you see the outline of a skull which mouth is ajar and gape. IT looks to be frozen in a scream of utter pain. You see that there seems to be a small hole in it's mouth. You wonder if the skull engraved into the frame of the door can be used to open it. [[Look around for something to open it]] You get back up with the stake in hand. It appears to be pure silver and it glistens in the moonlight which shone bright and wane. Looking to the skull door you slowly slide the stake into it's ajarred mouth as it goes in with ease. You hear the click of a lock and the door begins to slowly open before you. What lies beyond the door you cannot see in the blackened abyss that hides the room beyond the door of white. [[Walk inside]]Gathering up your courage, you walk slowly into the darkened abyss. As you walk the door closes and locks behind you, sapping all light that shone for you in this void. You stumble around in the dark, trying to find a way out. The floor beneath your feet creeks and groans with each step you take into the abyss that bathes you all around. [[Keep moving foward]]Not wanting to delay or linger in the darkness, you stride on foward on your way, not knowing where you are or where you are going. Silence seeps into your mind as not a single thing makes a noise to break it. You take a step into the darkness, but find that there is no support to hold your foot as you fall down into the abyss all around you. [[Look for something to stop your fall]] Desperate to stop your descent, you look all around for something to stop your descent. But to no avail does your search bear fruit as your vision is bathed in darkness, and you continue to fall. [[Brace for impact]]With no other way out of this you decide to curl up into a ball, and wait for a bottom to this pit. For what feels like an eternity feels like a moment in time as your descent stops with a splash! You uncurl yourself out of the fetal position and gather your thoughts. You look to see that you have landed in water and on something soft. Though as your vision returns to light from the torches on the walls, you realize that you haven't landed in water. But in mess of blood and remains of the long dead float in this pool of red. You've landed on a dead body! You quickly get up, panicking of what just transpired. But after some deep breathing, you calm yourself down. But your calm doesn't last long as you then heard a loud groan of a machine starting up. The water trembles and the remains shift as you see that the walls are closing in! [[Look for a way to stop the walls]]The walls of stone slowly creep ever closer to you as the space in between slowly closes all around you. Desperate to find a way out you look around to find something that might help in this situation. Right behind you, you find what appears to be a switch. This might stop the walls!! Though after pulling it once, it doesn't move an inch! [[Pull and Yank on it]] [[Look for something to grip it]]As the walls inch ever close to you to seal your fate, you grab on the handle of the switch, drenched with blood and coated in rust. You then yank and pull on it to pull it down, desperate to escape your doom. But then after a few tugs on it the switch snaps off and you fall back into the pool of red, bathing your body with blood. With no other way you try to stop the walls by hand but the walls slowly close onto you. Bones break and snap, jutting and piercing your skin as your life is slowly squeezed out like a freshly cut open lemon, drained of all it's juices. You let out one final scream of pain, but no one came as your eyes slowly puff out of your skull and pop out of them as your head is crushed against the closing stone walls. FIN [[Beginning]] The switch is drenched with the shade of read and coat of rust, so you look around the pool for something to use as a grip. Then by your feet you find a skull which is by far intact! You pick it up and without any thought of who's skull this poor soul was you close it's jaw around the switch and push down on it firmly. The walls of stone slowly close in around you as you push down on the switch. After a few pushes down the switch goes down and the walls come to a screeching halt, before you are crushed. They retreat back to their position as you let go of the skull and it drops into the pool of red below your feet. You sigh with a breath of relief as you have avoided certain fate. But it was not to last as then you feel a tug on your feet making you trip. The water is draining down!! You quickly swim and kick to get away from the whirlpool but to no avail, as you are sucked into the void of blood red water. [[Go with the flow]]The water tosses and turns your body like a ragdoll as the current carries you deeper into the void. Your vision is clouded by only the shade of red. With nothing else but to give in, you start to lose your hope and slowly close your eyes. Though all of a sudden, you are floating, as light as a feather. You open your eyes to see the bright night sky, and the house of hell. You look down behind you as you are falling down towards the ocean. With quick thinking you straighten yourself like a wooden stick and land straight into the cold ocean. Sea salt bathes your body as you fall into the blue abyss. Once your descent stops you quickly swim back up to the surface, desperate for air. You surface as the fresh air of the sky flows into your lungs through your nostrils. After getting some cooling fresh air you swim back over to shore. [[The Shoreline]]Once you arrive on shore you recollect your posture and thoughts and look around. You are at the spot of a local beach! You smile and close your eyes, relieved to be out of your living hell, you may have come out alive, but the horrors of your hell will be engrained into your waking mind for all time. So with a deep breath you decide to leave the line of sand and pool of ocean back to civilization. That's enough exploring old houses for the time being. THE END
