My World: [[Chapter 1]]

Chapter 1: Hey, my name is Pari. I am 21 years old and I am about to graduate college. I have a keen eye for game design because I am a hardcore gamer and I want to know the process that every company goes through. Most importantly, I want to have the ability to create something of my own and be known for it across the world. Who does not want that? Ever since my teens, I have been wanting to do something for the people that they will like the best. As we all know, gaming is something that people are really into. I got into a course of game design in my college and it is for 3 years. I am in my third year's final semester and I am in a video call with my friend [[Leia]]. "Hey Leia, how are ya?", is what I say to her excitingly. She gets scared and asks, "Yeah, I am good. Why do you look so happy?" "I just can not wait for our graduation, I am so gassed." She asks a question to me that I did not think I had the answer for, "So, after the graduation, what do you want to do?" [[Stay at home]] [[Go someplace else]]

Hey there, I am Leia. I am 21 years old, I am in the same batch as Pari which means that even I am about to graduate college and am thinking about where I should go for further studies (A.K.A. Masters). I am a casual gamer, I do not play as many games as Pari but I do play games that are just like movies (A.K.A. games that have a story to them). I do not want to be an addict to gaming so I play games that actually have a purpose to them so that I do not have to be stuck to them so much. I am still thinking about whether I should stay back home or go someplace else, preferably somewhere foreign. Then again, I am thinking about moving to that place with my boyfriend. By the way, his name is [[Advik]]. We have been together since highschool, to be specific, ever since he and I were in the ninth standard. We had similar interests such as, gaming, movies, shows, animals and art. By art, he and I were and are really passionate writers. His writing style is inspired from the Western filmmakers such as Martin Scorsese, Quentin Tarantino, Christopher Nolan, and Francis Ford Copolla. It always seems like they are writing the stories because they are explicit, non linear and realistic. I have to say, it was his passion to do these sorts of things that caught my attention, and whenever we would meet during our snack breaks, I would always ask if he has finished his stories or what he feels about them. [[Chapter 1]]

I go ahead and tell her, "I want to stay at home." "Why do you want to stay? You know you can actually get the chance to explore a bunch of different things if you go to a different place, as I am sure it is like that everywhere." She starts to laugh as if I was making a joke about what I am going to do. "If you really know me, then you would know that I am such an introvert, I have hardly explored or travelled across this country and I know that there are as much different things over here as there are anywhere." She is actually glad that I stuck with what I chose first rather than just changing my answer because of what she said. "How is your family doing?" "They are doing good, what about yours?" We rarely speak about the rest of our lives, how our families are doing, who is the closest to whom, blah, blah, blah. Although, it seems nice that we are talking about our lives because that just brings us closer to each other unlike some people that are so distanced and do not like to have connections with their friends. It is all fun and games, until she asks me the 'forbidden question', "What is your relationship status?" I straight up tell her, "Screw you, you know you are never supposed to ask that question to me." "Hey, it is just a question, answer it." She says that with the cheekiest 'haha, I got you'. My eyes widen because I am that pissed, "I am single because I want to be, and I know what you are doing. You are lucky that you are in a relationship, you know that?" She gets curious, "Speaking of relationships, do you plan on telling your parents about what you are? If you catch my drift." [[No, not yet]] [[Yes, I am ready]]

I go ahead and tell her, "I am actually thinking of going someplace else." She gets energetic, "All right, where do you want to go?" "I am thinking of going to Switzerland, for my masters in game design. They have a good program for that in Zurich University." She looks at me with a smile, "That is awesome, you have certainly thought this through. All the best." I ask her about the same thing, "What about you? What do you plan on doing?" She says, "I do not know, I did tell my boy that I would get on a call with him after this to discuss about that." "He is 'your boy' now? You guys are that serious, yeah?" She straight up tells me, "Why would we not be that serious? We are highschool sweethearts, we have been together for a long, long time." I say, "OK, that is great and hope you guys do amazingly." "Thank you, so did you apply anywhere else?" "Well obviously, always the best to have options." "Yes, that is true. What are the names of those options?" I tell her, "My first option was Zurich University, my second option was Academy of Art University, my third option was Columbia University and that was it. I can not think of anything else." She gets a vibration sound from her computer, "Oh no, I wish I could talk to you some more, but he is calling me." "No, not so fast, wait for a second." I am thinking, "What the hell should I do?" [[Get on a conference call]] [[Let her go ahead]]

I say, "No, I am not ready yet, and I have too much on my plate." "What is the stuff that is too much on your plate?" I take a big sigh, "This was on the DL, not anymore. Keep this to yourself, pretty please?" She gets excited, "This must be wild, ahaha, I will keep it to myself, go on." I go ahead, "OK, cool. I have been getting a bunch of matches on Bumble and Tinder." She is happy, "I knew it! Are these from both of the sides?" "Yes, both of the sides seem cool for now, can not wait for the trolls." I said that because I heard from a lot of my friends that they had some matches that were just there to screw around. She proceeds to ask me about my dates, "Did you go out with any of them?" I answer, "Yeah, I went out with a [[guy]] during the second year and he was actually a nice person." "How did it go though?" "It went great, we talked about games a lot, our [[pets]], and anime." Leia is glad, "That is great, any more plans with the guy though?" "We are going for a second date, it will be at a pizzeria." "Any plans on going out on a gay date?" "Yes, on the weekend." "Great, I bet you will do good." I say with nervousness because this will be my first ever gay date, "I hope so, but thank you." [[Chapter 2]]

I tell her, "Yes, I am definitely ready to tell them about the seriousness of who I am and the people that I am attracted to." "Good for you, I am glad that you are making bold decisions, finally!" She looks at me with the face of 'She has done it!!', I know I have done it so I give her the look, "That is nothing new, you may not see it but I have always made bold decisions, me trying to be myself, no?" She asks, "By the way, how are your [[parents]]?" I respond, "They are fine, how are yours?" "They are good, are you planning on going back to visit them?" I say, "Yes, but I will be in the city for a while. Trying to be independent and not so spoilt, for once." After I said that, I know that she will take a big sigh of relief because I said that I will not be spoilt anymore, she knows that I was so spoilt back in our first year. She takes the big sigh of relief, "Thank god! That means I will not have to deal with your spoilt self anymore, yay!" I let out my rage, "Shut your mouth, you are just glad that I will not be much of an annoyance anymore and you loved that, just admit it." "I did love you being an annoyance, you were fun as hell." Leia says. "Now, what are your plans?" Leia asks and I respond, "I actually have a date in the evening, we are going to a coffee shop." Leia is interested, "Who is the person? Are they from the same college?" Of course I respond, "He is from the city, he is a grad from Christ and he is one year elder than us." Leia asks me another 'forbidden question', "What happened between you and the [[girl]]?" I get confused, "Which girl are you talking about?" She lets me know, "The first girl that you ever dated." I just say, "It was cool, but we did not work in the end, which was definitely sad." "But at least you are going on some more dates, that is awesome, hope this goes well." Leia brings me back to goodness and I love that, "I hope so, too." [[Chapter 2]]

Leia asks, "This may be weird, but would you like to get on a call with us?" She gives me the look of 'why not?' as in, she has a really thin smile and she raises her twisted hands with bent fingers. I answer, "That is what I was thinking, but are you sure? Just that you seemed like you guys really needed to discuss the whole living scenario for whenever the hell you are going to wherever the hell that is you are going to." After two seconds, we hear a loud whistling ringtone and Leia sees the name "Advik", and she says, "Too late, he is here. Plus, he will not mind that you are here with me. In fact, he wanted to talk to you since I talk about you, a lot." I tell her, "OK, if you say so. Pick up the call." Leia picks up the call from Advik and greets him, "Hey there, lovely." I start to cringe, "Oh my goodness, why did you have to say that?" Advik greets her with the same and after that, looks at me and says, "What made you say that? Do you not think that we are like that?" I tell them that it was all banter and we continued our conversation, Leia asks Advik, "Have you done any applications until now?" Advik answers, "Yes, I have. I have applied to the options that you told me you have applied to, for the sake of moving to the same place together." Leia starts to feel bad since he only applied to those colleges that she has applied to, "Aw, you did not have to. There are a hell lot of colleges in those places, you do not have to worry about that." Advik says that he wanted to apply to those colleges because he did not want to feel separated from her and that he is tired of being in long distance relationships. She tells him that they have been in textationships (relationships where the people text rather than meet up) and nothing else. They argued and argued, until I interrupted with, "Hey, I sense something intense is about to happen so I will leave you both to it and I have a date, goodbye." Advik wishes me good luck meanwhile Leia tells me to pass the second base. I laugh and confirm that with confidence, and I thank Advik. [[Chapter 2]]

I tell her to go on ahead with the call, she asks, "Are you sure? He will not mind you being here, honestly." "I feel like something or the other will happen, and I do not want to rain on your guys' parade. I actually insist." Leia says that it is fine since I do insist and wishes me luck on my date. [[Chapter 2]]

I can't wait for the date. I tell my parents, "Hey, I will be going out with a few friends for a club date." They ask me with concern because I am their only child, "Okay, are these your old school friends or from college?" I tell them with kindness, "Do not have the tension please, these are just a few of my friends from college and we have not met each other for a long time so we just thought of going out for sometime." My parents listen and say that they are okay with this. They met these few friends before when I was actually living with them in a PG bungalow that belonged to my college. Obviously, little do they know that I am actually getting ready to go out on a date. I wear my purple dress and get my hair all out. My hair has curls and I always tie it on the top, making it a circle but this time I did not do any of that. I said goodbye to Mom and Dad, and got the hell out of the house. [[Go to the club]]

I was at the club, everything was popping. There were all sorts of music being played by the DJ (disco-jockey), some were EDM (electronic dance music), some were definitely techno, and others were the regular music such as hip-hop, pop, R&B and some latin pop. The disco-jockey was playing a lot of techno and EDM, and the audience was getting pissed off because he was playing the same genres as well as the same songs over and over again. They gave him a bunch of requests but he just did not care about any of them. I went back to choosing a place for the two of us, the whole club was packed, but I finally found a place which was on the terrace and that was a great choice. The club's inside was very humid that I started to sweat through my dress as I was searching for a place but anyways, it was an awesome choice. So I was waiting for the woman, I called her a couple of times just to let her know that I arrived early. She finally arrived to the terrace, we gave each other a hug and we sat down. She was smiling, "Hi Pari, nice to meet you finally." I was the same, "Nice to meet you, too." We kept on talking and talking, about our families, ambitions, futures, whatever we could think of. Then we got into the deep stuff, she started with, "So, ever had a makeout session with a woman?" I responded with, "To be honest, I have." She went on to ask some more and I was not sure whether I wanted to answer more or not. [[Answer]] [[Dodge]]
