The Stalking of You

''Day One:''    There he is.       On the porch.          You told him, “[[Go away!]]”

''Day Two:''    There he is.       On the step.          Waiting.             [[You ignore him.]]

''Day Three:''    There he is.       Staring through the glass.          [[What now?]]

''Day Four:''    You try to go outside.       There he is.          He tries to come inside.             You [[shut the door]].

''Day Five:''    He won’t give up.       He won’t go away.          The police won’t [[help]].

''Day six:''    There he is.       Again.          Watching.             Waiting.                Wondering.    You shiver and think.       [[You’re trapped]].

''Day seven:''    You awaken.       You rub your eyes.          You know nothing has changed.    There he is.       He says hello.          You stare at him.             He waits patiently, as always.    His [[unwavering stare]] creeps you out.

Day eight: You peer out the window. He’s no where to be found. You smirk and grab your coat. Out the door you dash, slamming it shut! You rush to the car and lock the doors. You sigh deeply, finally, you can go. There he is. Staring at you. THrough the glass. He says hello. You wait. He waits. He says a few things to you. You scowl and drive off. Later you return. He is nowhere to be found. [[Thankfully it’s over]].

''Day nine:''    It’s not over.       There he is.          On the porch.             He says hello.    You stare at him.       He stares at you.          You sigh. ''Defeated.''    No one would help.       Everyone said, “//It’s no big deal//.”          They were [[wrong]].

Day ten: You wake up early. You peer outside. He’s not around Yet. You step onto the porch momentarily. You watch from within. There he is. On the porch. He says hello. You stare at him. He ignores you now. He has what he wants. You’re [[under his control]]

You now have a new [[family member]].

A cat.

Not yet ...//    You set it out quickly. //Then...//    You watch from within.       There he is.          On the porch.                He says hello.                   You stare at him.    He ignores you now.       He has what he wants.    ''You’re under his [[control]]..''

   You give up.       He wins.          [[He's]]...

   ''Now your cat''. //[[Some info about the story!]]//
