3 Acres

3 acres That's what they [[left me]] <img src="candle1.jpg">

It's a lot of land, some would say its small. Some of it I haven't [[visited yet->walk outside]] <img src="armchair.jpg">

I could go for a drive, but its not the same Beyond the path, [[the woods]] <img src="car1.jpg">

There was a fire here last year, It spread from [[tree to tree]] <img src="rain.jpg">

I can still smell the ash Especially when [[it rains]] <img src="woods1.jpg">

With each step, I know this is my last abode My father and his father worked here, [[shaped it proud]] <img src="woods2.jpg">

I walk outside every night, sometimes I [[venture far]] <img src="house.jpg">

sometimes not so far, I keep walking till the thoughts [[recede->oldcar]] <img src="car.jpg">
