The king was dead. The usurper had mashed his horrid, noble body into a pulp, never to brandish power over the people again.
The celebrations were short. A set of guards barged into the throne room when the usurper turned around.
GUARD 1

Before the usurper stood another three guards.
One bore a spear and a chain mail vest. Another brandished a fine shield with a war hammer, and yet another stood with an axe and a full suit of plate mail.

Just as these optimistic thoughts entered their mind, a sensation was felt. A sharp, warm, moist sensation.

Looking over, the usurper gazed upon one of the guards having jammed a dagger into one of their guilty hands.
The pain was horrid, and the gutteral screams were ear-piercing. <<if $armor is "shield">>The usurper's shield fell gracelessly to the floor as they struggled to cope with a pain unlike anything they had felt.<<else>>The usurper struggled to cope with this pain unlike anything they had ever felt.<</if>> Of course they hadn't; it's harder to shank the king when you don't know what it's like to be shanked yourself.

The guards showed no mercy to them, kicking them over,

The crisis was over. The mutiny had come to a bloody, lossful end. The janitorial servicers piled inside to repair the damages and remove the bodies.
Let it be known, that any who wish to destroy the king and take the throne, shall become the king,
