You've headed into the forest, you see two paths. One is full of flowers and chirping birds. The other is dark and covered with trees. Which path would you like to take? [[BRIGHT AND FLOWERY]] [[I CRAVE DARKNESS]]

You're headed down a beautiful path full of life and happiness. You see butterflies swirling around you as you further venture down the path. You see a pond in the distance, would you like to explore? [[HECK YEAH]] [[WATERS LAME]] <<set $chooseBrightness to true>>

Darkness envelops you and seems to swallow you whole. With each step you take you feel the light leaving your realm of reality. <<if $chooseBrightness == true>> How did the brightness turn into this? <</if>> You continue further and become aware of the noises around you. Congrats! You're lame and your adventure ended before it even started. Be ashamed.

You walk to the pond and see frogs and lily pads. The water looks crystal clear. Would you like to take a sip? [[YES IT SEEMS REFRESHING]] [[I'M NOT DRINKING FROG PISS]]

Who even has that opinion? Water literally keeps you alive. You're just gonna keep walking on this path? [[YUP|KEEP GOING]] [[FINE I'LL CHECK OUT THE WATER|HECK YEAH]]

You're starting to get nervous. Those sound like big footsteps. Do you want to [[START RUNNING]], [[KEEP WALKING]], or [[HEAD BACK HOME|TURN BACK]]

You keep walking and are starting to realize you're over confident and those are most definitely footsteps. You can either [[TURN BACK]], [[KEEP WALKING]], OR [[START RUNNING]].

You take a sip of the pond water and start to feel a little lightheaded. Maybe you shouldn't have drank the frog piss water. I mean, if frogs live in it, it's probably stagnant, which means you definitely shouldn't have drank it. You're starting to lose your vision. Do you want to [[LAY DOWN]] [[TRY TO FIGHT IT]]

Fair enough. Would you like to venture onwards or turn back? [[VENTURE ONWARDS|KEEP GOING]] [[TURN BACK|TURN BACK PISS]]

You lay down on the grass and wait for the dizziness to pass. After however long, you start to feel better. Do you want to [[HEAD BACK HOME]] or [[KEEP GOING]]?

You can't fight the vision loss and trip on a rock trying to keep your balance. You fall straight into the water and get tangled in the lily pads. The frogs taunt you as you drown. You die. Lesson learned, don't drink frog piss.

You decide to keep on this path. You continue walking until you start to see a cave in the distance. You can either [[EXPLORE THE CAVE]] or [[AVOID THE CAVE]]. Which do you choose?

You head toward the cave and see an eerie darkness. It seems to want to draw you in. Would you like to continue? As you walk further you realize there's really not much else to explore. You the Cave stretches as far as you can see. You can either [[TURN BACK|TURN BACK CAVE]], or [[HEAD TO THE CAVE|EXPLORE THE CAVE]]

Are you sure you want to turn back toward the beginning? Your journey will end. You head back toward the beginning of your journey. Maybe next time you'll make it farther.

You start running full speed in the direction you're walking. The only problem is it's pitch black and you can't see shit. You end up running full force straight into a tree. You hit your head so hard to lose consciousness. When you awake, you're tied up and being carried by something. Do you [[BEGIN TO STRUGGLE VIOLENTLY]] or [[EMBRACE WHATEVER THE FUCK'S GOING ON]]?

You keep walking and listening for footsteps. They seem to become more and more faint as you continue. You see a glimpse of light in the distance. Would you like to head towards it? [[KEEP ME IN THE DARK]] [[HEAD TOWARDS THE LIGHT]]

Are you sure you want to head back to the entrance of the forest? You head back to the entrance of the forest. Good luck on your next journey.

Really? You still want to stay in the dark? [[YES, BACK OFF]] [[NAH, TAKE ME TO THE LIGHT|HEAD TOWARDS THE LIGHT]] [[ACTUALLY, I WANT TO TURN BACK|TURN BACK DARK]]

You head towards the light. It seems to get brighter and brighter until it's practically blinding you. Suddenly, it stops and you see you're in the middle of an empty field alone. There's nothing around you except a wide circle. Were you just abducted by aliens? What's going on? Where are your pants? All of a sudden, a cop comes out and arrests you for public indecency. You are put on trial and charged with the crime. You go to jail and see the alien who abducted you. He tells you you're pregnant. You die in prison during childbirth. He grows up to be president.

You start shaking and trying to get loose. This makes the being carrying you very angry and they drop you onto the ground below. As you're trying to get up, they begin beating you with clubs. You can't see anything except their eyes as they hit you again and again. One of the little creatures hits you in the head so hard, he fractures your skull. You begin to bleed out as they keep hitting you. You die a slow and painful death.

You just let them carry you wherever it is they're taking you. After what seems like an eternity they finally place you on what feels like a big nest. All of a sudden a fire roars in front on you illuminating the little creatures that had been carrying you. They look soft and squishy, but their eyes are intensely set on you. Do you want to [[SAY HI]], [[FIGHT THEM]], or [[JUST KINDA CHILL|SHUT UP]].

You say "hey guys, what's goin on" and they all stare at you in awe. You're just now figuring there might be a language barrier, so you start making random noises trying to communicate. Uh oh. Looks like you might've said the wrong thing cause it seems like they're starting to get mad. Do you want to [[KEEP MAKING RANDOM NOISES]] in hopes to communicate or [[SHUT UP]]?

You charge at these little creatures and an arrow flies through the sky and right into your heart. You die immediately and they throw your dead body into the fire and chant to their god. You were a worthy sacrifice.

You keep making random noises and they really do not like it. They start running up to you with torches and set the nest on fire. You try to escape but they're surrounding you with torches. As your clothes start to catch fire, you make one last attempt at escaping and one of them hits you in the head with a torch. You pass out. At least you no longer have to feel yourself burn to death? You die and they eat your charred flesh.

You stop making noises and this seems to please them. You sit quietly until one approaches you slowly. You're beginning to fear for your life. Do you [[FIGHT]] or [[STAY AS STILL AS POSSIBLE]]

You kick the little creature as hard as you can and he stumbles backwards with wide eyes. Suddenly, he dies right in front of you. A moment of silence ensues before more of these creatures begin to charge at you. You start kicking them as fast and hard as you can. Many of them die in front of you, but there are too many of them. They begin to overpower you. They hit you with sticks and throw rocks at you. One shoves a sharp stick into your chest and hits your lungs. You collapse and die.

You stay stiller than you have in your entire life. The little one approaches you, looks at you for a moment, then pulls you in for a hug. He holds you tight and whispers in your ear "you are one of us now" and lets go. He unties you and brings you to the fire. You sit in silence as he hands you some foreign meat. You begin to eat it as he tells you stories of his clan. You can never return home. This is your new destiny.

Fine. You stay in the dark and a monster eats you. Are you happy? Should've listened to me.
