It feels so nice, you decide to stay there all day. After it gets dark, you wander home to discover your mother in your flat and that you have been reported missing.\n\nTry to let people know where you are next time, eh?

After a brief uncomfortable walk home, you find the door unlocked and your ex making tea. One awkward conversation later and you discover that you spent the night at theirs, doing any number of wicked things.\n\nYou quickly realise it was the right thing to have done, and once the advil kicks in, you're at it again.
It's a nice day, which is good because you also seem to have lost a sock. \n\n[[Walk home]]\n[[Call your best friend]]\n[[Take off your other shoe and swish your feet in the canal]]
She picks up quickly.\n\n"Where have you been!" she shrills down the phone.\n"I dunno, but the canal is pretty nice at this time of day."\n"I'll come and pick you up. See you in 10?"\n\n[[Wait]]
She pulls up on the sideroad and you hop in the passenger seat. She grins at you.\n\n"Glad to see you in one piece!" She nods towards the back seat. "You left your bag and keys at mine in your hurry to make out with your ex!"\n"Any idea about the shoe?" you ask, wiggling your toes.\n"Probably a gonner," she laughs.\n\n
