Goldilocks and the Three Bears

Where am I... [[Let's cover the basics.]]

My name is Goldilocks, Goldi for short, and I'm in a forest. I don't know how I got here but I know I need to --- [[*GRUMBLE* *GRUMBLE*]]

I'm hungry. I need to... [[Find food.]] [[Find shelter.]]

I have to satisfy my hunger NOW! I won't have any energy to survive the night if I'm starving. Food #1 priority. I'll follow this path and see if I can find some food. [[Follow path.]]

Finding shelter is more important than my hunger right now. If I don't find a safe place for the night I won't be eating ever again! I'll follow this path and see where it leads. [[Follow path.]]

This path is taking fore- WAIT! Is that a house? Maybe someone can help me...or maybe it isn't safe. [[Go to the house for help.->House]] [[Keep looking for food to camp out the night.->Forest]]

The people were kind enough to lay out a whole path. No way they wouldn't want company. I'll mind my manners of course and see if they can get me home. [[Go to house.]]

I can't just trust strangers in this situation. I don't even know how I got to this forest. I'll search a bit more for some food and supplies and see if I can camp out the night. [[Search for supplies.]]

UGH! I have searched and searched for hours but there is nothing in this forest. It's almost as if bears have gone and taken everything. The only logical explanation is that the person in the house has all the supplies. I have no choice... I'll ask them for help. [[Go to house.]]

*KNOCK* *KNOCK* Excuse me is anyone home. I'm lost and am looking for a way home. Would you be able to help me? [[Wait for response.]]

No one seems to be home. I guess I'll just wait outside until someone shows --- *CREAK* *CREAK* [[Panic]]

DID THAT DOOR JUST OPEN ON IT'S OWN?! I can't... I shouldn't... Entering a strangers home is too risky. What if they catch me and don't help me get home. What if they hurt me out of anger. What if- Oh poridge. Sweet. [[Enter house]]

What a nice little home. There seems to be three bowls of porridge. I'm sure they wouldn't mind me taking at least one bowl. After all they took all the food from the forest. The question is...which one do I take? [[Cold porridge]] [[Warm porridge]] [[Hot porridge]]

WHY OH WHY DID I CHOOSE THIS. IT'S SO COLD. LIKE ICE. WHY DID I DO THIS TO MYSELF. [[Finish eating.]]

Mhmmm mhmmm. The temperature is just right. This bowl is kind of small. I feel bad for taking food from a kid but at least I'm not taking that much. [[Finish eating.]]

My mouth is on fire, but the food is so good. OUCH! I burnt my tongue. The food is still worth it though. [[Finish eating.]]

Now that I'm done eating it wouldn't hurt to take a look around. Oh some chairs. Three chairs...just like the bowls. This house definately belongs to a family of three. That doesn't mean they can take all the forest food though. I'm pretty tired. I'll go ahead and take a seat. [[First chair.]] [[Second chair.]] [[Third chair.]]

This chair is way too big for me. I'm practically a dwarf. I'll just keep looking around. [[Continue investigating.]]

This chair is okay. It feels a little-- [[*Crash*]]

This chair feels just right. I'll take about a 5 minute break then continue investigating. [[Continue investigating.]]

Hm three beds here as well. No sign of any telephone. I guess I'll just sleep here for the night. It's getting dark but the family still isn't back. They must be staying somewhere else for the night. Let's hit the hay. [[First bed.]] [[Second bed.]] [[Third bed.]]

[[...->Uh oh.]]

I did not just break that chair. The chair must have been brittle. Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhh. That must have been it. Well no more sitting for me let's just keep investigating. [[Continue investigating.]]

This bed is amazing. It feels like it was made for me. I'll head straight to bed. *SNOREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE* [[Door opens.]]

This bed is so soft. Too soft. This is going to give me back problems. Oh well. *SNORRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE* [[Door opens.]]

This bed is rock solid. It feels like a pile of bricks. How the heck am I supposed to fall asleep on this thing. [[5 mintues later.]]

*SNORRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE* [[Door opens.]]

As Goldi sleeps, the owners of the house come home. That's strange. Why is the door open? [[They look at the table.]]

What?! Someone ate some of our food! [[They look at their chairs.]]

Someone has been sitting in our chairs! [[They look at their beds.]]

THERE IS SOMEONE IN OUR BEDS! [[You abruptly wake up.]]

You instantly know what's going on. The owners are back. You've made a mistake. You get up from the bed ready to apologize but when you look up... ''Are those bears???'' [[You think to yourself.]]

You get ready to explain yourself but they are furious. You were correct. It is a family of three. Three very angry bears. [[Try to explain yourself.]] [[Run.]]

You try to get some words out but how do you explain breaking and entering. You ate their food. You sat in their chairs. You slept in their beds. Like who does that. You decide nothing excuses your actions. You are about to apologize but you took too long. The bears can't take it anymore and start chasing you. [[Run.]]

Your fight or fligth instincts kick in and they scream, RUN. We have to get out of here before they get more upset. You book it through a window and don't look back. You follow the path back to where you woke up from. You look back to check if they are chasing you. [[What a mistake.]]

You start falling. You didn't realize there was a cliff. You fall and fall until the ground starts closing in. Then- [[*JOLT*]]

You jolt up from...your own bed? It was all a dream. Of course. Thank goodness. Lessoned learned. Never go into a strangers house, even if the door is open.
